Many thanks, I hope you still have that book, it's probably worth a fortune now, like your dad, I love English humour especially Emett, so I've tried to turn his artwork into a layout, all the best Carl
I can't help but smile when I see your work. That is an amazing backscene; it almost appears 3 dimensional with the way the view splits, drawing the eye down the streets.
Mr. Roberts, there is obviously a part of your brain that functions better than most of us. Please show us this layout when you are done. Thank you for taking the extra time to film and put this on TH-cam. This world needs more smiles right now. Bless you.
100% agree with you, we need to smile, laugh, be kind to each other, thank you so much for liking this slightly unusual layout, I have to say I'm really enjoying building it, thank you for your lovely words, all the best my friend
Absolutely brilliant Carl, we really like how this layout is coming along. The backscene looks great as well 👌. We find it all very inspiring... Cheers James 🙂👍
Hello boys, thank you so much for the continuing support is very much appreciated, I've had a birthday just recently and we've been travelling a lot, so haven't had chance to catch up with your TH-cam wonderful videos, but I certainly will over the weekend, hope the 009 is progressing as you would like, I really must start the one I've been asked to build, another one of those fruit trail layouts, I think it's for the gentleman to take to exhibitions, anyway sending you both my very best wishes, keep up the great work and I look forward to watching,
Carl we love it. Particularly like the yacht, my grandad had one like that and he was as nutty as you are with his models, we made a submarine once! Andrea says hello to Annette.
Hello both, I'm so pleased you like the latest layout, and even more pleased that I'm finally building one that Andrea likes ha ha, I can't recall you mentioning your grandad had a layout, I would love to see some pictures of that, and how funny that there's a half built sub marine on my workbench at the moment, struggling a little to get it to move up and down as I would like, I might have to resort to it just being the periscope, we have moved coffee shops again, still very close to yours, we are trying the new one wink wink, I think you know the one I mean, sending love to both
@@carlroberts2539 Actually wasn't a layout, we used to go to Abbey Park to sail the model yacht and the rubber band powered submarine. I hope the sub is "Ready to Eat" soon 😜
@@johnanderson9523 I used to go to Abbey Park with my dad, we didn't have a rubber band powered submarine, but a beautiful blue yacht and a long stick, happy memories indeed, were you the boy that threw stones and tried to overturn my boat ha ha ,and as for your sub joke, Annette has told me to ignore it, see you in Pret if you're passing
Carl it's looking great! Love all the movement. Looking forward to your progress on the moving platform.
My dad loved English humor and he had a book filled with Emetts artwork. This is awesome.

Thank you Jeff, always nice to see smiles, I must carry on with this layout, I've got a bit sidetracked, as I do, all the best to you, Carl
