Absolutely brilliant, I can't wait to show it my grandson he loves model railways and films his model railway for his Dylington Model Railway channel. He's soon going to be building a 009 layout, which he will be filming and posting updates on his channel. He's also started doing stop-motion animation on his model railway, great model, and video cheers James 🙂👍
Hi James, many thanks for your lovely words, Thought I had better check out your channel and subscribe before answering you both, what a fantastic collection of videos you have made, i especially like the Dukes one, theres a good few hours gone into making that little masterpiece ,I look forward to seeing the 009 line start and also watching progress , many times I have been asked to do a start through to finish set of clips, unfortunately I am easily distracted and find myself progressing to far and forget to do videos , so hopefully I can learn from watching you guys, happy modelling to you both Carl
@carlroberts2539 Hi Carl, thank you for taking the time to watch, comment, and subscribe it really is appreciated. The answer to how long the Dukes video took my grandson is about ten hours filming. He's building some kits at the moment and will be starting the layout in the near future. So there may well be photos posted on the community page with a video to come once he's underway with it. Thank you again, and I'll make sure he's subscribed to your channel... Cheers James 🙂👍
@@DYLINGTONMODELRAILWAY 10 hours thats commitment for you, its nice that so many folk appreciated all the hard work that went into it, I noticed on my channel that the Emett layout attracts a smaller amount of views than to say my On30 or 009 ones so your grandsons right in the moment with 009, I for one will be front row watching, all the best to you both and happy modelling, Carl
@carlroberts2539 Hi Carl, I hope you enjoy his future videos, I think we will be able to make a good start on his 009 layout over the school holidays, when he can come and stay with us for a few days. I quite like your Emett layout, and if I remember rightly, I passed a comment on one of your videos a while ago. Who knows? I might pluck up the courage to try building one, at some point ... Cheers James 🙂👍
Hi Bernie, nice to meet a fellow small - micro layout builder, shame we are so far apart in the world but I have subscribed to your channel and look forward to watching , all the best to you Carl
Hello David, many thanks for liking the layouts, you sound busy building in lots of scales, I had a look at your page and hope you show your modelling on there soon, all the best Carl
A lovely layout... Here in the States, we put everything in cardboard boxes. That way, they can charge more and not have to worry about the trays being returned.
We are slowly going the same way over here Jeff, thats one of the reasons I bought 10 trays, Ive found if I build them small, 1 I get them finished and 2 they find new homes easier
GNine looks a bit like what we call On18 here... close to O Scale size but running on 18" (009) track. It's a really interesting size. You can run decent size stock on N Scale track and using those Kato 11-109 chassis, the locomotives run a treat.
Hi Jeff, hope alls good with you, good spot with the Kato chassis there my go to at the moment , they do run so well and as you say you can get a decent size train, funny you should mention On18 as I found an engine I built in that scale and enough bits to fill a tray, so that might be next, all the best Carl
@@brianroberts6751 Thank you Brian, the kato chassis will run at a slower more believable speed, I properly should have cleaned everything before doing the video, but I can be a bit inpatient , I will put another one on when its finished, all the best
That is a lovely little layout, looks great in the box.
Many thanks Carl
Not into trains but this is great , thanks for sharing and I have subscribed.
Many thanks Lee , all the best Carl
Thanks Carl. I enjoy your videos. The quality of your work is excellent and a bit different. Regards Bernie

Hi, Carl. Nice to see your trains are out and running. Have fun!
Many thanks 🥰its nice to be modelling again, all the best to you
Brilliant! Just love your “fun” layouts. An inspiration for me to follow your lead. I am modelling in HO, 009 & N. All the best from South Africa. 👍

That looks splendid, Carl. Well done!
Many thanks Shaun, I do like these small layouts and the best thing is I get them finished, well most of them anyway , all the best Carl

Gnine is twice the scale of On18. 1:24 on 9mm gauge track.
Another fun one. Sometimes it's just nice and relaxing watching a " round de round" .
