Thank you for explaining the strange truths about the resurrection. I walked away decades ago but accepted Him in my life last February so still need to learn such a lot. Hallelujah brother. I'm so very grateful that you heard our Shepherd s voice. I too spent my youth in love with Christ and realized one day that I felt He was gone. Next day I was saved and convicted hard by the Holy Spirit. I went from believing Christ too experiencing Christ Jesus and His Glory. Truth, I studied forestry when I started walking away. Took 37 years for my dad to ask me to go fishing again in our favorite spot. Ironically, was the last place I spent quality time with our Father. I marveled once arriving that the area was covered in a particular kind of pine. I only ever knew from my courses of it too be in one place in the world. I truly knew then that I was adopted through Christ, cried like a baby. It was then I realized what a folly sin is and such a waste of time not knowing Christ. I put that in my attempt to be fruitful because it so incredibly impacted me. Terrible sad waste, and oh so very blessed too be saved in Him. Stay the narrow course my brother. May His Grace be upon you always.
Sounds like you and I ran much of he same corse, brother. I consider Proverbs 22:6 my testimony verse. My momma made sure my sister and I were raised in church and I loved the Lord, but at 17 or 18 (in the late 60s early 70s range) just gradually turned away. Then about 15 years ago God came knocking at my soul saying, "You know how you need to live. Please do so." I am so thankful for thaat. I love that verse. The angel said tell his disciples and Peter. Peter must have been feeling so down after denying the Lord...but the Lord already knew how Peter felt...so it was tell the disciples and Peter. How lovely. When he was at the table with the Lord he dipped his bread in the cup and Satan entered into him....now I dont know when it tells us in God's word that judas repented himself if he felt sorry for himself or for what he had done to the Lord of glory. I know he said ive betrayed innocent blood but did he feel sorry for himself with the realisation of what his fate was . It tells us in the scripture that Judas went to his own place. think Judas was with the Lord and his disciples for his own gain. Judas was so privileged yet he betrayed the Saviour of the world.
@@amymac3099 I think he must have felt pretty remorseful, because when he tried to return the 30 pieces of silver to the chief priests and then left and committed suicide by hanging, a selfish person probably wouldn't return the money and then not be able to live with himself for what he had done and kill himself

Is that all he thought the Lord was worth 30 pieces of silver the price of a slave .Bible commentary say his own place is hell. It is a fearful place to be when you transgress against the most high. When you commented about "... the beginning of the Gospel of Jesus the Christ" it reminded me to the first word in the Torah: "Bereshit", the beginning. The study of that term already discloses the 'end in the beginning', and here we have Mark bringing that truth forward 4,000 years, showing that it was still true then and and, as you taught, that it is still true today. Praise Adonai.
Actually in John's Gospel it shows how Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus wrap Jesus body with spices. So that was done. They were disciples but secretly because they were afraid of the Jews. The whole story is not found in one Gospel. You have to study them all.
You are spot on. The truth is far greater evidence of the Resurrection and the incredible strategies of God than this. JOSEPH of Arimathea was Jesus' grand-uncle. The Romans or Sanhedrin would never have given His body to a woman or disciples. Joseph was family, which gave him the right under Moses Laws to claim body, and being a member of Sanhedrin and a Nobilis Decurio of Rome - his high ranking jobs made him a leader in Sanhedrin and a Roman citizen with powerful friends. Who could refuse him? AND THERE'S MORE!!! The truth is amazing!!!
Thank you for reminding us that the four Gospel accounts must be taken together to give us the complete picture we are supposed to see. I'm sure Brandon and his team are well aware of this. What I got from the his video is that Mark's account is a distinct point of view. They talk about the "Synoptic Gospels" and suggest that Mark is the basis for Matthew and Luke - further suggesting that instead of four accounts, there are only two - Mark and John. I ain't buyin' it. John and Matthew were with Jesus and eyewitnesses to His ministry. Mark, traditionally, is associated with Peter. Mark's is believed to be the earliest account as believers realized the first witnesses were passing away and they needed to document the events in Jesus' life. Luke, "the beloved physician," is associated with Paul - the former Saul of Tarsus - who received his instruction from Jesus separate from the 11 who walked with Jesus. The point I'm making is, this video presents opposition to the World's mentality that the Gospel is unsubstantiated, a myth about some mystic. Simply examining Mark's short Gospel shows the lengths he went to to give a credible account. And with your point, there are three other accounts to explore. A sentiment in the Old Testament and the New stresses that we , "Let everything be confirmed in the mouths of two or three witnesses." We have four Gospel testimonies to examine. Just as Brandon says, we are supposed to dig deeper and ask questions. I've reached an age where I know most unbelievers are not willing to dig deeper - takes too much work and they feel there is no guarantee their effort will be rewarded. As believers, we know better - but we can't force someone else to adopt our peculiar faith. That prayer was so necessary. Thank you for your reply.
Yes Nicodemus did the spices and herbs in the Book of John so that would make the two Mary stories to go back and do that very exact same thing a lie create the Risen Jesus lie
I remember hearing a similar point raised by NT Wright about how the witness of the women would have been airbrushed out because it would have been "apologetically embarrassing." Also the stories of the Resurrection don't show anything that suggests they've been mythologized. Some of the fraudulent "gospels" include wacky details about the cross coming out of the tomb and talking and other crazy business. As always, though, I find new details and things I hadn't even considered in the slightest so fascinating and edifying. One of the guys at Crucial Productions (I think)- it's an LCMS affiliated group said "the Gospel is better than you think." *mind blown* The Word never returns empty. Thank you for your ministry! Regarding the women, from 1 Cor 1:27-29: “…God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; and base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: that no flesh should glory in his presence.” In those days, women were considered weak and unreliable. Who else would have been chosen? A Greek philosopher? the chief priest? Caesar? a scholar? a member of the Sanhedrin? No. And the same seems true today. Truth comes out of humility, not pride.

You omitted, what I think is the greatest proof. The 11 apostles who would not even go to jail with Christ because they were afraid. All ended up dying for him in horrible ways (except John). Nobody would die for a lie that they know to be untrue.

Try reading all four gospels, and then, read all the books that Paul wrote, then Peter. Anyway, what the guy in the video is saying, basically, is that a true story will contain truth, no matter how odd or out of place it seems. But anyway, the fact is, Jesus DID rise back to life, even regardless of what the gospels say, it's true, and there is no other ancient occurrence that can be more easily proven scientifically. Except for the flood, which can also be scientifically proven. Oh, and creation in general, that has been proven also, through the mathematical discipline of fractal geometry, just discovered in the early '70's. Oh and one more, the fact that DNA exists, is yet another scientific proof. There may be more but those are the ones I have studied extensively in the past 30 years. And as the Bible clearly states, "in the last days, knowledge will increase".. How interesting, well yeah that's happening, and even that fact is proof of that prophecy. It goes on and on. God is real, Jesus is real, and I feel sorry for atheists, but I honestly wouldn't know where to begin to help them know the truth. They try to shoot me down every time, and ignore obvious and proven facts. As the Bible says, "they profess to be wise, yet became fools".
I heard Max Lucado preach about resurrection saying, "Why did God move the stone when Jesus could have walked through the stone? He did it for the women to see the empty tomb. God's grace is beyond words.

If all four gospels actually recorded the event equally/identically, THAT would be proof of lies abounding since even today eyewitness accounts of any situation or crime continue to differ greatly. (This is why witnesses are separated from one another before being questioned.) Good Morning sir. In my 44years of biblical study I have found many truths recorded in God's Word. There are 9 words that are listed in different places that have had such an impact on the heart of the Christian that they stuck in my mind and help keep me rooted and grounded in scripture. They are: "It is written" ref. Matthew 4:4, "It is finished" ref. John 19:30 and "He is risen" ref. Matthew 28:6.

Hey Brandon, it's amazing when the Spirit of Truth reveals to us the Truths hidden in scripture that only the Spirit could. Just wanted to remind everyone about the woman who prepared Jesus for the Tomb, since we are speaking about the good news, we must mention her good and very important deed from the words of Mark chapter 14 verses 3-9. 3. Jesus was in Bethany at the home of Simon, a man who had suffered from a skin disease. While Jesus was sitting there, a woman went to him. She had a bottle of very expensive perfume made from pure nard. She opened the bottle and poured the perfume on his head. 4. Some who were there were irritated and said to one another, “Why was the perfume wasted like this? 5. This perfume could have been sold for a high price, and the money could have been given to the poor.” So they said some very unkind things to her. 6. Jesus said, “Leave her alone! Why are you bothering her? She has done a beautiful thing for me. 7. You will always have the poor with you and can help them whenever you want. But you will not always have me with you. 8. She did what she could. She came to pour perfume on my body before it is placed in a tomb. 9. I can guarantee this truth: Wherever the Good News is spoken in the world, what she has done will also be told in memory of her.” Mark 14:3-9 GW There has to be more significance to this custom than a way of dealing with foul odors, because Jesus was still alive when she poured oil on his hair. And even if the Passover was two days away, His hair would've still smelled good, but i feel the Spirit wants to reveal more on this, and when He does I'll share it with you beloved. The Egyptian Alexandria text (Vaticanus and Sinaiticus) ends at verse 8. The Received Text (Textus Receptus) from Antiochia (the region of the Apostles) has the full text. That is why there will be no notes in, for example, the King James Version. So the question is rather: Were these verses removed from the Bible by the scribes of Origen in Alexandria? The same is true for quite a number of other verses.
At 12:24 "ends at verse 8". This is an error. The KJV does not end at verse 8. This is due to the "oldest manuscripts" of the Vaticanus and Sinaiticus which was promoted by Wescott and Hort, from which modern translations arise. The other Gospels do not agree with the ending at Mark 16:8. Any writer would see that this is not a good ending of a story as well as the God knowing how to end a story with a good ending not a sad ending. In modern times a sad ending for a movie would mean there is a sequel.

Also, what caught my attention was that just a few weeks earlier at the death of Lazarus, Jesus questions Martha, and at first she confesses as many of the Pharisee’s would about her understanding of the General Resurrection at the last day. But Jesus stays with her until she confesses, as did Peter, that He is the Resurrection and the Life....Blessed words and understanding.

I found the teaching on your video very nice and helpful... believing the words of the Lord Jesus Christ by the disciples and close followers of Jesus was trumped by what they saw and witnessed. Yet He was faithful. He will save to the uttermost those who come unto God through Him. So many times in my Christian life, trials come and the reality of the trial consumes the promises of God.... But God, who is rich in mercy, brings me to my knees and to a long look only to Him for victory and deliverance...He is Faithful.
I'd like to note that the Sabbath wasn't the usual Seventh Day Sabbath but the High Sabbath at the beginning of Passover, which is VERY significant to the death, burial and resurrection.
Well done for noting this fact - very few people are aware of this, hence the confusion of the Friday (preceding Saturday) being recognised as the day of the LORD's death & burial. Actually, Wednesday is the correct day. This particular Thursday was 1 of 7 "high Sabbaths" during the Jewish calendar. So "Sabbath" does not only refer to Saturday.

If you think about it, the ending of verse eight is interesting because the number eight stands for New Beginning. So maybe not knowing why he ended it there he was fulfilling something that he didn't realize.
Thank you Brandon. Medieval interest in genealogy raised claims that Joseph was a relative of Jesus; specifically, Mary's uncle, or according to some genealogies, Joseph's uncle.
*Question:* Mark 15:46 says, “So Joseph bought some linen cloth, took down the body, wrapped it in the linen, and placed it in a tomb cut out of rock. Then he rolled a stone against the entrance of the tomb." And Mark 16:3 says, “they asked each other, “Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?” It’s at this point you mention the stone being so heavy, they wouldn’t have been able to move it and how important this detail is. Respectfully, one man was able to move the stone in front of the entrance with no mention of any difficulty, but the 3 women walk there and suddenly the stone is 1500 lbs and they would have been helpless to move it? The gospels state there were guard(s) placed outside the tomb but the women didn’t seem to know this. Also, if they did know this, and you believe Matthew, the tomb would have been sealed via Pilate’s orders and going to the tomb wouldn’t have have made sense to begin with. I believe in the resurrection and Jesus Christ as my savior. But my pastor mentioned the stone on Sunday in the same context as you did in your video and I don’t understand why in one verse, one man moves it and it’s nothing, and another verse it’s amazing what the 3 women did going there and would have been helpless. I’m a lil curious too how Mark would have known the women asked each other how they’d move it on their walk there? Seems like that detail woulda been lost and forgotten once they realized the tomb was empty and talked to the two angels. I can’t imagine any of the disciples hearing the tomb was empty and bein like, “Wait a sec, how’d you plan on opening the tomb once u got there?” I was jw

Thank you Brandon. "He has risen. He has risen indeed." The resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is incredible but only in the sense that it is awe inspiring. It is anything but incredulous. It is the beginning of God given hope.
Those who doubt your words about the gospels need to “study” the whole Bible with open mind. The details of the many prophecies as reported in the gospels have convinced me that what Brandon is telling us is the most important truth in any body’s life.

They knew both those things or they wouldn't have still been plotting how to get to the body on their way to the body. Sometimes, when you know something must be done, you just do it and work out the details on the way. It's also known as flying by the seat of your pants.
Brandon, Always it’s “the Jewish Sabbath,” instead of the Sabbath, no restrictions needed. The Sabbath of this three day special weekend, observed by Christendom as part of Easter weekend, contains at its center- The Sabbath, Holy Saturday, the day on which Jesus, in both life and death rested- not because it was the Jewish Sabbath, but because it was sanctified and blessed by the Creator, after His marvelous Edenic work. It will remain God’s sanctified and hallowed day beyond the end of time, into eternity. Let’s not diminish its relevance, importance and beauty for us today. This Sabbath, I will worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness, and meditate on His Death, Rest and Resurrection. We were not commanded to keep Good Friday or Easter Sunday as holy days, we do so because it’s a good thing to meditate on these amazing events in Jesus’ life, but too many Christians minimize the Sabbath, and celebrate Easter as a doctrine, according to the commandment of men, yes?
Don't expect everyone to believe the erroneous interpretation of scriptures. There was no Sabbath in the garden of Eden and it wasn't introduced until Exodus by Moses. It was a Jewish tradition that could be shared by non Jews if the chose to. Everyone is not as gullible as you are. The pastor is highlighting Christ while you choose to highlight a day. Typical Sabbath worshipper.
Oh, Susan, I see you've been talking to the Ellenistic Jews. God gave the sabbath to the Jews, just as God gave the Passover to the Jews. Whether or not to keep the sabbath was a hot topic in the first century just as was circumcision, feast days, and clean/unclean meats. Paul speaks of it in several of his letters and always comes to the same conclusion: Christians don't need to keep those things. The Old and New Laws worked like old and new contracts. If my company makes a new contract with an old partner, the new covers everything. Anything that was in the old that didn't make it into the new is gone. I've had Seventh Day Adventists ask me, "If the Ten Commandments are obsolete, can I commit adultery or murder now?" I'll tell you what I've told them: The old contract is not the place to find your answer to that. I Corinthians 6: 9-10 says, "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God." I count at least 5 of the 10 commandments in those two verses. God did not yank the Law out from under everybody and leave us floundering, he took one Law away and gave us another at the same time. The Ellenistic Jews make the assertion that there was one Law and two covenants. This is flawed on so many levels I don't know where to begin so I won't bother. I will say, the Law and the covenant are used synonymously throughout Old and New Testaments, though. Consider I Kings 8: 9 and 21, "There was nothing in the ark save the two tables of stone..." and "And I have set there a place for the ark, wherein is the covenant of the Lord..." If there is nothing in the ark, but the Law, and the covenant is in the ark, the only conclusion one can draw is that the Law is the covenant. Let Hebrews chapters 8 and 9 lay the argument to rest, though. In chapter 8, the author quotes from Jerimiah 31 and makes the point that if God said He is making a New covenant, then God is one who made the first old. He concludes the chapter with that very statement, (8: 13) "In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away." Then in 9: 4, he says, "...and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant". It is not a coincidence that he chose the phrase "tables of the covenant" in this context, neither was it an oversight or accident. He could have called them the tables of the law and distinguished them from that old covenant that is rotting away, but he specifically grouped the tables in with that old covenant. The Ellenistic Jews can't escape the overwhelming number of passages that call the law the covenant or the covenant the law, but this one is the final nail in the coffin for this doctrine. God called the tables of the covenant old when He said He would give us a New Covenant. The old tables were decaying and vanishing away two thousand years ago, when this was written, what does that make them today? Paul said not to get roped into Judaism in yearly, monthly, or weekly traditions; the sabbath was an important part of the old law, but it has no place in the new.
Vasheth Blade. I am Not convinced. All through your comment you stress that the Law is part of both the old and new covenant, and indeed it is. The only change was not with God, but with mankind’s keeping the Law- now, instead of it being a burden with hundreds of rules and regulations attached, it was “written on the heart,” and observed from in this manner. This was particularly relevant for the seventh day Sabbath. God is “the same, yesterday, today and forever,” and He said: “I am God, I change not.” It is mankind that changes and is blown about by “every wind of doctrine.” Thank God for His amazing grace in putting up with our unfaithfulness. We have been studying the OT and correlating it with the NT and I have found this stiff-necked attitude toward God, not just a prevailing characteristic of the Israelites, but just as prevalent with us today. Jesus warns us in His very own Revelation to “Come out of Babylon.” I am settled in the faith of our Fathers, Abraham, Issac and Jacob and also in the faith of Jesus, His disciples and Paul, who all kept the Sabbath. After his great treatise on Law and Grace, Paul wraps it up by asking, “Do we then make void the law?” And answers with a resounding No, “God forbid, yeah we establish the law.” It’s marvelous to keep the Sabbath holy- a full 24 hours to rest, learn more about God and His wonderful Creation and to fellowship with His people, as well as minister to those in need. I love the Sabbath and call it “a delight”! Study more deeply, my sister🙏🏼

Perhaps you could prepare a bit more. Joseph of Arimathea was NOT Jesus' enemy. Nor was he merely "attracted" to Jesus' message. Read this please: Luke 23:50-51 [NIV] "50 Now there was a man named Joseph, a member of the Council, a good and upright man, 51 who had not consented to their decision and action. He came from the Judean town of Arimathea, and he himself was waiting for the kingdom of God."
Joseph was the Brother of Mary. Had a fleet of ships that carried Tin from England to Rome. As per Jewish custom Joseph, being the brother of Mary became the guardian of Jesus after Joseph the husband of Mary died. Providing Tin to Rome so they could make Bronze made him a rich man. Hallelujah brother. I'm so very grateful that you heard our Shepherd s voice. I too spent my youth in love with Christ and realized one day that I felt He was gone. Next day I was saved and convicted hard by the Holy Spirit. I went from believing Christ too experiencing Christ Jesus and His Glory. Truth, I studied forestry when I started walking away. Took 37 years for my dad to ask me to go fishing again in our favorite spot. Ironically, was the last place I spent quality time with our Father. I marveled once arriving that the area was covered in a particular kind of pine. I only ever knew from my courses of it too be in one place in the world. I truly knew then that I was adopted through Christ, cried like a baby. It was then I realized what a folly sin is and such a waste of time not knowing Christ. I put that in my attempt to be fruitful because it so incredibly impacted me. Terrible sad waste, and oh so very blessed too be saved in Him. Stay the narrow course my brother. May His Grace be upon you always.
Sounds like you and I ran much of he same corse, brother. I consider Proverbs 22:6 my testimony verse. My momma made sure my sister and I were raised in church and I loved the Lord, but at 17 or 18 (in the late 60s early 70s range) just gradually turned away. Then about 15 years ago God came knocking at my soul saying, "You know how you need to live. Please do so." I am so thankful for thaat. When he was at the table with the Lord he dipped his bread in the cup and Satan entered into him....now I dont know when it tells us in God's word that judas repented himself if he felt sorry for himself or for what he had done to the Lord of glory. I know he said ive betrayed innocent blood but did he feel sorry for himself with the realisation of what his fate was . It tells us in the scripture that Judas went to his own place. think Judas was with the Lord and his disciples for his own gain. Judas was so privileged yet he betrayed the Saviour of the world.

Is that all he thought the Lord was worth 30 pieces of silver the price of a slave .Bible commentary say his own place is hell. It is a fearful place to be when you transgress against the most high. When you commented about "... the beginning of the Gospel of Jesus the Christ" it reminded me to the first word in the Torah: "Bereshit", the beginning. The study of that term already discloses the 'end in the beginning', and here we have Mark bringing that truth forward 4,000 years, showing that it was still true then and and, as you taught, that it is still true today. Praise Adonai.
Actually in John's Gospel it shows how Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus wrap Jesus body with spices. So that was done. They were disciples but secretly because they were afraid of the Jews. The whole story is not found in one Gospel. You have to study them all.

You are spot on. The truth is far greater evidence of the Resurrection and the incredible strategies of God than this. JOSEPH of Arimathea was Jesus' grand-uncle. The Romans or Sanhedrin would never have given His body to a woman or disciples. Joseph was family, which gave him the right under Moses Laws to claim body, and being a member of Sanhedrin and a Nobilis Decurio of Rome - his high ranking jobs made him a leader in Sanhedrin and a Roman citizen with powerful friends. Who could refuse him? AND THERE'S MORE!!!

Thank you for reminding us that the four Gospel accounts must be taken together to give us the complete picture we are supposed to see. I'm sure Brandon and his team are well aware of this.
What I got from the his video is that Mark's account is a distinct point of view. They talk about the "Synoptic Gospels" and suggest that Mark is the basis for Matthew and Luke - further suggesting that instead of four accounts, there are only two - Mark and John.
I ain't buyin' it. John and Matthew were with Jesus and eyewitnesses to His ministry. Mark, traditionally, is associated with Peter. Mark's is believed to be the earliest account as believers realized the first witnesses were passing away and they needed to document the events in Jesus' life. Luke, "the beloved physician," is associated with Paul - the former Saul of Tarsus - who received his instruction from Jesus separate from the 11 who walked with Jesus.
The point I'm making is, this video presents opposition to the World's mentality that the Gospel is unsubstantiated, a myth about some mystic. Simply examining Mark's short Gospel shows the lengths he went to to give a credible account. And with your point, there are three other accounts to explore. A sentiment in the Old Testament and the New stresses that we , "Let everything be confirmed in the mouths of two or three witnesses." We have four Gospel testimonies to examine. Just as Brandon says, we are supposed to dig deeper and ask questions.
I've reached an age where I know most unbelievers are not willing to dig deeper - takes too much work and they feel there is no guarantee their effort will be rewarded. As believers, we know better - but we can't force someone else to adopt our peculiar faith. That prayer was so necessary. Thank you for your reply.
Yes Nicodemus did the spices and herbs in the Book of John so that would make the two Mary stories to go back and do that very exact same thing a lie create the Risen Jesus lie
I remember hearing a similar point raised by NT Wright about how the witness of the women would have been airbrushed out because it would have been "apologetically embarrassing." Also the stories of the Resurrection don't show anything that suggests they've been mythologized. Some of the fraudulent "gospels" include wacky details about the cross coming out of the tomb and talking and other crazy business.
As always, though, I find new details and things I hadn't even considered in the slightest so fascinating and edifying. One of the guys at Crucial Productions (I think)- it's an LCMS affiliated group said "the Gospel is better than you think." *mind blown*

Regarding the women, from 1 Cor 1:27-29: “…God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; and base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: that no flesh should glory in his presence.” In those days, women were considered weak and unreliable. Who else would have been chosen? A Greek philosopher? the chief priest? Caesar? a scholar? a member of the Sanhedrin? No. And the same seems true today. Truth comes out of humility, not pride.
Truth is derived from FACTS and REALITY not humility. Nobody came back from the dead.

Try reading all four gospels, and then, read all the books that Paul wrote, then Peter. Anyway, what the guy in the video is saying, basically, is that a true story will contain truth, no matter how odd or out of place it seems. But anyway, the fact is, Jesus DID rise back to life, even regardless of what the gospels say, it's true, and there is no other ancient occurrence that can be more easily proven scientifically. Except for the flood, which can also be scientifically proven. Oh, and creation in general, that has been proven also, through the mathematical discipline of fractal geometry, just discovered in the early '70's. Oh and one more, the fact that DNA exists, is yet another scientific proof. There may be more but those are the ones I have studied extensively in the past 30 years. And as the Bible clearly states, "in the last days, knowledge will increase".. How interesting, well yeah that's happening, and even that fact is proof of that prophecy. It goes on and on. God is real, Jesus is real, and I feel sorry for atheists, but I honestly wouldn't know where to begin to help them know the truth. They try to shoot me down every time, and ignore obvious and proven facts. As the Bible says, "they profess to be wise, yet became fools".
I heard Max Lucado preach about resurrection saying, "Why did God move the stone when Jesus could have walked through the stone? He did it for the women to see the empty tomb. God's grace is beyond words.
In which account? None of the four gospels record the event equally. The four versions differ wildly.

If all four gospels actually recorded the event equally/identically, THAT would be proof of lies abounding since even today eyewitness accounts of any situation or crime continue to differ greatly. (This is why witnesses are separated from one another before being questioned.)

Good Morning sir. In my 44years of biblical study I have found many truths recorded in God's Word. There are 9 words that are listed in different places that have had such an impact on the heart of the Christian that they stuck in my mind and help keep me rooted and grounded in scripture. They are: "It is written" ref. Matthew 4:4, "It is finished" ref. John 19:30 and "He is risen" ref. Matthew 28:6.

Hey Brandon, it's amazing when the Spirit of Truth reveals to us the Truths hidden in scripture that only the Spirit could. Just wanted to remind everyone about the woman who prepared Jesus for the Tomb, since we are speaking about the good news, we must mention her good and very important deed from the words of Mark chapter 14 verses 3-9.
3. Jesus was in Bethany at the home of Simon, a man who had suffered from a skin disease. While Jesus was sitting there, a woman went to him. She had a bottle of very expensive perfume made from pure nard. She opened the bottle and poured the perfume on his head. 4. Some who were there were irritated and said to one another, “Why was the perfume wasted like this? 5. This perfume could have been sold for a high price, and the money could have been given to the poor.” So they said some very unkind things to her. 6. Jesus said, “Leave her alone! Why are you bothering her? She has done a beautiful thing for me. 7. You will always have the poor with you and can help them whenever you want. But you will not always have me with you. 8. She did what she could. She came to pour perfume on my body before it is placed in a tomb. 9. There has to be more significance to this custom than a way of dealing with foul odors, because Jesus was still alive when she poured oil on his hair. And even if the Passover was two days away, His hair would've still smelled good, but i feel the Spirit wants to reveal more on this, and when He does I'll share it with you beloved. The Egyptian Alexandria text (Vaticanus and Sinaiticus) ends at verse 8. The Received Text (Textus Receptus) from Antiochia (the region of the Apostles) has the full text. That is why there will be no notes in, for example, the King James Version. So the question is rather: Were these verses removed from the Bible by the scribes of Origen in Alexandria? The same is true for quite a number of other verses.
At 12:24 "ends at verse 8". This is an error. The KJV does not end at verse 8. This is due to the "oldest manuscripts" of the Vaticanus and Sinaiticus which was promoted by Wescott and Hort, from which modern translations arise. The other Gospels do not agree with the ending at Mark 16:8. Any writer would see that this is not a good ending of a story as well as the God knowing how to end a story with a good ending not a sad ending. In modern times a sad ending for a movie would mean there is a sequel.

Also, what caught my attention was that just a few weeks earlier at the death of Lazarus, Jesus questions Martha, and at first she confesses as many of the Pharisee’s would about her understanding of the General Resurrection at the last day. But Jesus stays with her until she confesses, as did Peter, that He is the Resurrection and the Life....Blessed words and understanding.

I found the teaching on your video very nice and helpful... believing the words of the Lord Jesus Christ by the disciples and close followers of Jesus was trumped by what they saw and witnessed. Yet He was faithful. He will save to the uttermost those who come unto God through Him.
So many times in my Christian life, trials come and the reality of the trial consumes the promises of God.... But God, who is rich in mercy, brings me to my knees and to a long look only to Him for victory and deliverance...He is Faithful.
I'd like to note that the Sabbath wasn't the usual Seventh Day Sabbath but the High Sabbath at the beginning of Passover, which is VERY significant to the death, burial and resurrection.
Well done for noting this fact - very few people are aware of this, hence the confusion of the Friday (preceding Saturday) being recognised as the day of the LORD's death & burial. Actually, Wednesday is the correct day. This particular Thursday was 1 of 7 "high Sabbaths" during the Jewish calendar. So "Sabbath" does not only refer to Saturday.

If you think about it, the ending of verse eight is interesting because the number eight stands for New Beginning. So maybe not knowing why he ended it there he was fulfilling something that he didn't realize.

Thank you Brandon. Medieval interest in genealogy raised claims that Joseph was a relative of Jesus; specifically, Mary's uncle, or according to some genealogies, Joseph's uncle.
*Question:* Mark 15:46 says, “So Joseph bought some linen cloth, took down the body, wrapped it in the linen, and placed it in a tomb cut out of rock. Then he rolled a stone against the entrance of the tomb."
And Mark 16:3 says, “they asked each other, “Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?”
It’s at this point you mention the stone being so heavy, they wouldn’t have been able to move it and how important this detail is.
Respectfully, one man was able to move the stone in front of the entrance with no mention of any difficulty, but the 3 women walk there and suddenly the stone is 1500 lbs and they would have been helpless to move it? The gospels state there were guard(s) placed outside the tomb but the women didn’t seem to know this. Also, if they did know this, and you believe Matthew, the tomb would have been sealed via Pilate’s orders and going to the tomb wouldn’t have have made sense to begin with.
I believe in the resurrection and Jesus Christ as my savior. But my pastor mentioned the stone on Sunday in the same context as you did in your video and I don’t understand why in one verse, one man moves it and it’s nothing, and another verse it’s amazing what the 3 women did going there and would have been helpless. I’m a lil curious too how Mark would have known the women asked each other how they’d move it on their walk there?
Seems like that detail woulda been lost and forgotten once they realized the tomb was empty and talked to the two angels. I can’t imagine any of the disciples hearing the tomb was empty and bein like, “Wait a sec, how’d you plan on opening the tomb once u got there?”

The resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is incredible but only in the sense that it is awe inspiring. It is anything but incredulous. It is the beginning of God given hope.

They knew both those things or they wouldn't have still been plotting how to get to the body on their way to the body. Sometimes, when you know something must be done, you just do it and work out the details on the way. It's also known as flying by the seat of your pants.

Brandon, Always it’s “the Jewish Sabbath,” instead of the Sabbath, no restrictions needed. The Sabbath of this three day special weekend, observed by Christendom as part of Easter weekend, contains at its center- The Sabbath, Holy Saturday, the day on which Jesus, in both life and death rested- not because it was the Jewish Sabbath, but because it was sanctified and blessed by the Creator, after His marvelous Edenic work. It will remain God’s sanctified and hallowed day beyond the end of time, into eternity. Let’s not diminish its relevance, importance and beauty for us today. This Sabbath, I will worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness, and meditate on His Death, Rest and Resurrection. We were not commanded to keep Good Friday or Easter Sunday as holy days, we do so because it’s a good thing to meditate on these amazing events in Jesus’ life, but too many Christians minimize the Sabbath, and celebrate Easter as a doctrine, according to the commandment of men, yes?
Don't expect everyone to believe the erroneous interpretation of scriptures. There was no Sabbath in the garden of Eden and it wasn't introduced until Exodus by Moses. It was a Jewish tradition that could be shared by non Jews if the chose to. Everyone is not as gullible as you are. The pastor is highlighting Christ while you choose to highlight a day. Typical Sabbath worshipper.
Oh, Susan, I see you've been talking to the Ellenistic Jews. God gave the sabbath to the Jews, just as God gave the Passover to the Jews. Whether or not to keep the sabbath was a hot topic in the first century just as was circumcision, feast days, and clean/unclean meats. Paul speaks of it in several of his letters and always comes to the same conclusion: Christians don't need to keep those things. The Old and New Laws worked like old and new contracts. If my company makes a new contract with an old partner, the new covers everything. Anything that was in the old that didn't make it into the new is gone. I've had Seventh Day Adventists ask me, "If the Ten Commandments are obsolete, can I commit adultery or murder now?" I'll tell you what I've told them: The old contract is not the place to find your answer to that. I Corinthians 6: 9-10 says, "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God." I count at least 5 of the 10 commandments in those two verses. God did not yank the Law out from under everybody and leave us floundering, he took one Law away and gave us another at the same time.
The Ellenistic Jews make the assertion that there was one Law and two covenants. This is flawed on so many levels I don't know where to begin so I won't bother. I will say, the Law and the covenant are used synonymously throughout Old and New Testaments, though. Consider I Kings 8: 9 and 21, "There was nothing in the ark save the two tables of stone..." and "And I have set there a place for the ark, wherein is the covenant of the Lord..." If there is nothing in the ark, but the Law, and the covenant is in the ark, the only conclusion one can draw is that the Law is the covenant. Let Hebrews chapters 8 and 9 lay the argument to rest, though. In chapter 8, the author quotes from Jerimiah 31 and makes the point that if God said He is making a New covenant, then God is one who made the first old. He concludes the chapter with that very statement, (8: 13) "In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away." Then in 9: 4, he says, "...and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant". It is not a coincidence that he chose the phrase "tables of the covenant" in this context, neither was it an oversight or accident. He could have called them the tables of the law and distinguished them from that old covenant that is rotting away, but he specifically grouped the tables in with that old covenant. The Ellenistic Jews can't escape the overwhelming number of passages that call the law the covenant or the covenant the law, but this one is the final nail in the coffin for this doctrine. God called the tables of the covenant old when He said He would give us a New Covenant. The old tables were decaying and vanishing away two thousand years ago, when this was written, what does that make them today? Paul said not to get roped into Judaism in yearly, monthly, or weekly traditions; the sabbath was an important part of the old law, but it has no place in the new.
Vasheth Blade. I am Not convinced. All through your comment you stress that the Law is part of both the old and new covenant, and indeed it is. The only change was not with God, but with mankind’s keeping the Law- now, instead of it being a burden with hundreds of rules and regulations attached, it was “written on the heart,” and observed from in this manner. This was particularly relevant for the seventh day Sabbath. God is “the same, yesterday, today and forever,” and He said: “I am God, I change not.” It is mankind that changes and is blown about by “every wind of doctrine.” Thank God for His amazing grace in putting up with our unfaithfulness. We have been studying the OT and correlating it with the NT and I have found this stiff-necked attitude toward God, not just a prevailing characteristic of the Israelites, but just as prevalent with us today. Jesus warns us in His very own Revelation to “Come out of Babylon.” I am settled in the faith of our Fathers, Abraham, Issac and Jacob and also in the faith of Jesus, His disciples and Paul, who all kept the Sabbath. After his great treatise on Law and Grace, Paul wraps it up by asking, “Do we then make void the law?” And answers with a resounding No, “God forbid, yeah we establish the law.” It’s marvelous to keep the Sabbath holy- a full 24 hours to rest, learn more about God and His wonderful Creation and to fellowship with His people, as well as minister to those in need. I love the Sabbath and call it “a delight”! Study more deeply, my sister🙏🏼

Perhaps you could prepare a bit more. Joseph of Arimathea was NOT Jesus' enemy.
Nor was he merely "attracted" to Jesus' message. Read this please:
Luke 23:50-51 [NIV] "50 Now there was a man named Joseph, a member of the Council, a good and upright man, 51 who had not consented to their decision and action. He came from the Judean town of Arimathea, and he himself was waiting for the kingdom of God."

Joseph was the Brother of Mary. Had a fleet of ships that carried Tin from England to Rome. As per Jewish custom Joseph, being the brother of Mary became the guardian of Jesus after Joseph the husband of Mary died. Providing Tin to Rome so they could make Bronze made him a rich man. I love Brandon Robbins teaching, truly a gifted teacher.

The single most important message of all prophets to their people was to worship God alone and none else and to follow His teachings. All of them, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Ishmael, Moses, Aaron, David, Solomon, Jesus, Muhammad and others, in addition to those we do not know - invited people to worship God and shun false gods.
Moses declared:"Hear, O Israel The Lord our God is one Lord."(Deuteronomy 6:4). This was repeated 1500years later by Jesus, when he said: "The first of all the commandments is, ‘Hear, O Israel; the Lord our God is one Lord.’(Mark 12:29)
So, the greatest commandment, the most important belief according to Jesus, is that God is one. If Jesus was God he would have said, ‘I am God, worship me.’ Instead, he merely repeated a verse from the Old Testament confirming that God is One.
This aligns with the mission of Jesus, as taught in Islam, where Jesus was sent to the Children of Israel to confirm the message of the past Prophets - to believe in the One True God.
most Christians nowadays believe in trinity.. Jesus said i came not to destroy the commandments of moses i came just to fulfill.
Muslims reject the Christian belief that God is a Trinity, not only because the Quran rejects it, but also because if this was God’s true nature, He would have clearly revealed it to Abraham, Noah, Jesus and all of the other prophets.
ISLAM is the submission in worship to Allah Alone and it is the essence of all the Messages sent to all nations before us. Allah is All-Just and All-Wise. He does not intend confusion for His Creation. The religion accepted to Him is the one chosen by Him. Its essence must be One, because He is One. It is free from geographical, racist, and status oriented concepts. It is Perfect and it is the complete way of life. All these qualities are chosen by Allah in His Only Religion: Islam. Its details are in in the Qur’an, read it and come with an open heart because none can expose better than the World of Allah. The Qur’an was revealed to Prophet Muhammad. He did not author it. He was unlettered. Its translation is available in many languages in bookstores or in an Islamic Center close to you. Take the time to read it and come/call the Islamic Center, or speak to someone who re-verted and submitted to Allah Alone.
