I started running ethanol free gas in my Sthil rb600 (it has the kohler engine with MiTM pump) I had some issues a few weeks back with some crappy gas and swore after that I'd stick with ethanol free fuel from now on. Changed the oil and pump fluids and drained the tank and its back to running good again. I'm hoping to upgrade to a belt drive with a honda engine here this fall.

I have the 2.5 gpm Simpson 3200 unit with the 16" Briggs surface cleaner. This has been okay but the pressure varies and therefore doesn't power the cleaner consistently. Very frustrating! As I am aging i think i want to build on the powerwashing side of my Lawncare. I couldn't see the brand on the 4gpm direct unit. I think my focus for now is driveways, sidewalks, patios, etc... and just staying portable off my lawncare set up. Suggestions on an appropriate surface cleaner to match a 4gpm machine? I'm all ears, and i appreciate your videos.
For a 4GPM you could go with a 16 - 19 inch surface cleaner. The one have may work just fine w 4GPM.
@@Meone103 direct drive is “ok”. But best to save up and start w a belt drive IMO. Direct drive will have limits and are not really made for everyday commercial use.
hey Doug, for the none bypass pumps when using the ball valve method and letting it run on the ground is that considered low pressure and would draw from your down stream batch?
Yes it would. Best to have a bucket of clear water to drop tube in. Or just pull it out and lay on ground
HELP needed - I have a Dewalt 3500 PSI pressure washer. I need advice on how to fix my pressure washer. The pressure washer starts fine I hit the press the gun on the pressure wash and within a minute of that the pressure washer want to choke or die, and then it’s fine; it works OK for another minute and then repeats the same thing over and over. What can I do to get this fixed
First thing I’d try is loosen the gas cap. Sounds like it’s not vented. If that didn’t work I’d take it to small
Engine repair shop and have them look at it.

They are all the same to me. General Pump, CAT, AR, Udor, I've them all and they all pump water. Never had issues with any of them

I have a 4gpm 4000 psi belt drive electric start pressure washer. Will that work of a homeowners water that’s run off a well tank and well pump.
Depends on the pump well. Need to do a bucket test and see. Also make sure the well pump will run continuously.
@@PressureCleaningSch what size hose would get more distance on a soft pump. 1/2, 5/8 or 3/4 flexzilla hose with either 5.5 gpm 60 psi or a 7 gpm 85 psi
