    I've used this sprayer several times now on brick pavers, a wood deck, patio, and a driveway. th-cam.com/users/postUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX It has performed as expected on all surfaces. For larger areas like the decks and patios, I think I will be looking into a surface cleaner attachment to speed up the job, or at least make it a little easier. Hose and sprayer connections are tool-less, tight, and quick. I used the yellow nozzle on the concrete/brick surfaces, and the pressure was adequate for cleaning those surfaces.I am disappointed that these units are still being shipped with a nozzle storage holder that allows them to vibrate out of the holder way too easily and become lost, but I don't want to knock off a star for that reason. The functional part of the washer works very well, so I would recommend this product.

    Great information veido Mr Rucker. I just picked up a Dewalt 18" surface cleaner and it did the job but the second time useing it stopped spinning. I took it apart and greased the inside and it still is not spinning. Not sure if the tips come off or not so I used a welding tip cleaner. Well still not spinning but is shooting out the water. I have a Simpson 3400 mega shot and it works great. But this Dewalt cleaner I am very dissapointed in. Im not blameing Dewalt by no means Im sure there is a simple fix. But hey sorry for the long speech Thanks for the veido Have a great day sir.

    I noticed the rotor cleaner your using doesn't have wheels i think that its better to not have wheels because when your cleaning up against a wall the wheels would be in the way and besides the pressure from the washer makes the rotor washer easy to move around anyway.

      The dewalt belt drive with the Cat pump is advertised as a 4200 psi at 4.0 gpm. However the pump is actually rated for 3000 psi at 4.8 gpm or 3500 psi at 4.5 gpm for the California model.

    I'm running a 20 inch Erie tools surface cleaner on a 4400 psi 4gpm Dewalt through 3 50ft hoses on a real, gives me enough power to clean pretty well but not enough lift to take flight ... If needed and distance allows I'll use 50ft or 100ft of hose for a little more pressure and add as needed.

    Can your shooter tip be outfitted with a jrod? And if so would it be only for soap when down streaming?

    • @PressureCleaningSch
      @PressureCleaningSch  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it can be put on a JRod. You can use it for either bleach or rinsing, you just need to have a way of stopping the bleach from pulling. Can do that by putting your siphon tube in a bucket of clean water, or using a bypass injector set up. Also if the injector is adjustable you can turn the dial all the way up to stop the bleach from flowing.

    I have a DeWalt 4K psi 3.5 GPM pressure washer and a 18-in surface cleaner it will still lift the surface cleaner off the ground if I let it but nothing crazy. By math I should be running a 12 inch surface cleaner I think the 12-in would be too small and lift up even worse? Correct me if I'm wrong..

    • @PressureCleaningSch
      @PressureCleaningSch  ปีที่แล้ว

      You are correct. Might try going up a nozzle size. You want between 2000-2500 psi for concrete. Less if newer concrete.

  • @williamfernihough4034
    @williamfernihough4034 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I had my pressure washer for 21 years now, only use if about 4 hours a year, driveway and bit around the house. Finding this particular instruction about surface cleaners very useful as I just bought a 14 inch BD model Whirl-A-Way. Used it a then next morning, and now recognize one of the problems I have, is that of lift and tilting, so will look hard at this nozzle issue. I have a 2700 PSI washer, I think it is about 3 GPM or more, will have to check. I got good results in cleaning by using a swing approach to the cleaner rather than pushing forward. The cleaner wanted to dig in if I went forward, tilt forward and stop, so realized I had to slow down. Is this a typical nozzle issue? Or is is me trying to go too fast? I am learning a lot of things about the art and science of power washing from these videos, wish that you tube had existed back in the year 2000.

    • @PressureCleaningSch
      @PressureCleaningSch  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      For small surface cleaners up to 20” I prefer no casters. Easier to get over the edging of concrete driveways and allows you to get closer to walls or objects to cut trimming time down.

So, assuming I cannot throttle the psi, is 4400 okay with a 20 inch so that it doesnt damage concrete or decks? Or should I increase hose length to reduce psi like from 50 to 150 foot?
