I thought this video was gonna be full of crap based off the title, but I was proven wrong as I started watching, you made several great points here, I would def love to see what you replace this Armada with, one thing I will say is that weather a certain model year is worth it/not worth it 100% depends on the car you choose, overall great job with this video, you just earned a new subscriber!

Thanks!! our relative with ford discount retired, so we are wide open. We are downsizing and may not replace till spring. And market is slow, so we will see how long for it to sell. If you see something Im wrong on, call me out. keep us all honest and accurate. I see some debate in the comments o nissan trim levels. Thanks again for compliment. Don't get that much in youtube comments.

glad to hear you found what you like. We can all have our own ideas - Merica! I know a fleet manager at a construction company who says the GM products are decent as long as you replace factory fluids and work on rust prevention. GM clutches dirty up the trans fluid and you should change your fluid more often in a GM truck. GM v8s are hard on valvetrain and you need to stick tight on oil changes. here is what I found on chat gpt hope it helps. Thanks for wathcing and commenting. Keep us honest and accurate.
The GMC Yukon is a popular full-size SUV known for its spacious interior However, it has more than its share of issues. Here’s a look at some of the most frequent problems reported by owners and how to address or prevent them:
      1. Transmission Issues
Problem: Some Yukon owners have reported transmission problems, including hard shifts or slipping.
Prevention/Fix: Regularly check and change the transmission fluid according to the manufacturer’s recommendations. If you experience issues, have a professional inspect the transmission and address any problems early to avoid costly repairs.
      2. Engine Problems
Problem: Engine issues such as excessive oil consumption or timing chain problems have been noted in some models.
Prevention/Fix: Adhere to the recommended maintenance schedule, including regular oil changes and engine inspections. For timing chain issues, addressing any unusual noises or performance problems promptly with a mechanic can prevent more severe damage.
      3. Electrical System Issues
Problem: Problems with electrical systems, including issues with the infotainment system or dashboard components.
Prevention/Fix: Keep the vehicle’s electrical system in check by performing regular maintenance and addressing any warning lights or malfunctioning components immediately. Updating the software for the infotainment system can also resolve some issues.
      4. Suspension Wear
Problem: Suspension components, such as the air suspension system (in some models), can wear out or fail.
Prevention/Fix: Regularly inspect suspension components and address any signs of wear or unusual handling. Ensuring proper alignment and balancing can also extend the life of the suspension system.
      5. Braking System Issues
Problem: Some owners have reported issues with the braking system, including premature wear of brake pads and rotors.
Prevention/Fix: Follow a regular maintenance schedule for the braking system, including checking and replacing brake pads and rotors as needed. Pay attention to any changes in braking performance and address them promptly.
      6. Fuel System Problems
Problem: Fuel pump issues or problems with fuel injectors have been reported in some cases.
Prevention/Fix: Use high-quality fuel and ensure that the fuel system is regularly inspected and maintained. Address any fuel system-related symptoms, such as rough idling or poor acceleration, with a mechanic.
      7. Cooling System Issues
Problem: Cooling system failures, including radiator leaks or overheating issues, have been reported.
Prevention/Fix: Regularly check coolant levels and the condition of hoses and the radiator. Flushing and replacing coolant according to the manufacturer’s schedule can help prevent overheating and other cooling system problems.

I see some for sale in n marketplace place Claiming to be “s” trim. I just asked chat gpt. This was response. The Nissan Armada S trim was available during the following years:
    - **2004-2009**: The first generation of the Nissan Armada, known initially as the Pathfinder Armada, included an S trim level.
    - **2017-present**: The second generation of the Nissan Armada reintroduced the S trim as the base model, and it continues to be offered in the current model lineup.
So, you could get a Nissan Armada S in the 2004-2009 and 2017-present model years.

comment appreciated. Keep us all accurate and honest. It appears that S trim was dropped from 2010-2016, but then added back with next generation. I don't know that for sure. All comments appreciated. Could be worse. Could be a ford and we could be debating xl xlt xls lariat longhorn harley kingranch eddiebauer platinum titanium . . . . Thanks!

@@RecycledAndSaved Not according to Nissan's new vehicle brochures. I looked up a 2017, 2018 and 2019 and it shows the SV is the entry level trim. These are the factory brochures off Nissan's website for those years.

Just so you know, there is NO "S" model in this generation 2017-2020 Armadas. The SV trim is the lowest trim.
