Bring this woman back. She was so passionate about these people being assholes and im here for that. She doesn't make excused for these people and it's refreshing
50:14 no actually one time a girl in my drama class in highschool who I had had barely any conversations with came up to me with a bag full of cookies on a Monday and said "you seemed like you were having a really tough time last week so I made you these cookies and I hope you feel better this week" and I actually went home and sobbed and I think about her all the time
Just reading this made me tear up omg ;-; that is the kindest thing I have ever heard. Also, I now very much know what kind of person I want to be for other people.
I took a notoriously difficult high school education program (the international baccalaureate program). My school had the country’s conventional highschool program alongside two IB classes. During our exam period (I had 15 exams back to back in the course of two weeks), this girl from the normal high school baked my entire class cookies and said she saw how hard we were working and wanted to give us motivation with a gift of cookies. It was awesome and I’ll never forget her❤
That one about not wanting her future husband’s grandmother at her wedding….my heart BREAKS for that grandma and that poor man. I hope he never actually went through with marrying that witch.
I agree She’s seen more than this entitled bride. Seriously this is about the brides pride . So sad her hubris is more important than her husbands feelings and memories . Seriously this girl puke
My gma is the party animal and the young kids love her, my gmas that alr passed and are old fashioned woukdnt wanna stay longer than the ceremony regardless of how the reception is crazy how this could even be a problem for them
My favorite picture of my grandma is her with a glass of whisky in each hand that she was actively drinking during Christmas. Drunk grandma's make for fun memories, or mine did at least.
What pains me about the period story is that this little girl definitely understood what happened and will never forget this scene. Situations like these create negative fixations and low self esteem.
I’m so happy her mom stood up for her, that dude had no idea what he was talking about and was super hurtful to his niece. Comments like that are gonna stick with her forever.
@@kaitlynkotter1111 YES! When he said “it’s not like she is prohibited to go to the pool for ever” BUT THATS HOW SHE WILL FEEL, she won’t feel comfortable going to his house or even going to his pool again if he doesn’t apologize….definitely an asshole
I’ve had a swim coach to almost something the exact same. It was horrifying. Are you didn’t feel right in my stomach, and I requested to take a break and go to the bathroom I came back out got one of my friends, and then went back into the bathroom. The coach pulled me aside and asked me, what’s going on, I responded with the following statement. Sir, I’m on my period, I didn’t have any equipment with me, so I asked my friend to give me a song. I don’t know what this man thought I meant by equipment, but I was just trying to be politically correct as a middle Schooler, but he did not know what to do. Luckily one of the other female coaches heard and walked over and Cel Torres get back in the pool. If it wasn’t for the fact that I had another female cochair, I probably would’ve been interrogated that day about my period. I was horrified, it’s also proven that periods while swimming are not blocked, but the pressure from being underwater helps stop the flow of periods. Obviously yes you should have some thing on whilst on your period in a pool or a body of water, but you’re not just gonna bleed out, physics in science won’t let that happen.
“You mousy unforgettable man” “your friends are worthless. They are not worth writing down in my diary if I met them for one moment of the day.” “You are a man who is the color grey you are forgettable there is nothing substantial about you. You will dissipate in the history of time” wow bring her back please! She’s awesome!
I couldn't with that shit. Like "dude my fucking wife is such a bitch. She gives cookies to underpaid workers and thinks we should "appreciate" them more. And she wants our kids to have the same beliefs! The fucking nerve"
@@3llemc RIGHT?!! Oh my goodness this amazing woman does not deserve this fuck boy of a husband. I mean maybe not really. Though if their relationship was all about this situation then 100%

Just want to say, as a guy, I actually thoroughly appreciate all the period talk. As embarrassed as I am to say it, at 24 I and despite learning about it in health class, I know next to nothing about periods. Saying "It's not like an open wound, it's more like shedding." Has made it make sense to me.
You can always Google it, watch youtube videos, or ask the females in your life we're usually super excited to inform people about it because we'd rather you know about it and respect it than to know nothing about it and act like it's a disease and that we're disgusting. If you know about it and know what to expect and help your so through it I promise you she will love you for life lmfao.🤗🤗
Oh! You should look up Dr Mama she's a gyno and she shares info about the uterus and how periods work along with details on what PCOS is and how ot effects the body.
"My wife wakes me up everytime she goes goes to the bathroom because she's pregnant" I've got some flash news for you bud. Babies wake up in the night too, get prepared for that. 🤣
I was thinking the same thing, how is he going to handle a crying baby if he walks up when she goes to the bathroom 😬 I kinda feel sad for her. I think they have a looooot of arguments ahead of them ...
Yeah, had my first about a year ago and that is a whole different level of exhaustion. So crazy. Babies wake every 2 hours and you can't expect the mom to be the only one feeding and changing as milk production and healing from birth both take sleep for her. I feel so bad for her and the baby. I cannot imagine how bad the next year is going to be for them.
The guy that let his mom and sister ruin his fiancé’s wedding dress has no respect for her. The fact that all 3 of them went behind her back and did that without her permission clearly indicates they all knew it was wrong and they did it anyway. I really hope she did not marry that family.
Trigger warning: SA As far as divorce stories, my sister decided to leave her ex husband after she learned of a family history regarding pedophilia. She was planning to have kids with him and when she started learning these family history stories, she point blank asked her ex if he would protect his possible-future-kids by not letting them around certain family members. He refused and said it’s his family and every family has stuff but since nothing happened to him (just his mother and sisters!) he couldn’t be sure if they (survivors) were even telling the truth. My sister was so heart broken, but she made the decision to leave. I’m so proud of her for protecting herself and leaving before they decided to have kids.
As someone who has the same family history (Survivor myself). I asked my man to help me protect our children as well as my nieces and nephews from them so that man is ridiculous. That is your family and that is something that is you're responsibility to have expressed to her before. Not being open about it is what leads to people so many people in one family being affected and traumatized and the cycle starting over again. Also saying that you don't believe that ur own mother and sister were actually abused or assaulted, when they express that they have been, just because you weren't is ridiculous. That guy is an asshole and I'm so glad you're sister chose to leave she is so strong.
The fact that all his sisters AND mother were assaulted but he’s still like “I dunno if they’re lying”….glad your sister isn’t having children with someone who cannot comprehend things or empathize with others just because it hasn’t happened to him. He’d risk his own children’s safety? Garbage.
Hugs and high fives to your sister. I can’t imagine how hard it was for her to leave to protect herself and her future children. As someone who was a victim of a family member, my child I not to be alone with any members of my family besides my partner, myself and my father. Literally nobody else and my partner understands that wholeheartedly. Im sorry your sister had to go though and probably still struggles with that situation
wow i want to give your sister a hug. that was such a brave and important thing she did. it’s scary to think that you could already be married to someone before realizing that they gave those views about SA but that makes her decision to get divorced even more admirable.
The gardener urinating on the citrus tree story - human urine offers many benefits to citrus trees. It's actually good fertiliser for the tree(s) as urine is high in nitrogen (urea). So from a gardening perspective the gardener was doing the citrus trees a favour. That being said, have your boyfriend, or the employer or an other male speak to the gardener about privacy, being aware of his surroundings and to limit his daily dosage to the tree.
Yes! Also, it’s a deterrent for deer and other animals that would be tempted to eat the tree. I think there’s a better way to go about it for sure, but still it’s not from a bad place.
I was looking for someone that had horticulture knowledge! Thank you! I’m guessing this is the case and he’s only peeing on citrus. I’m in NZ and this is the go for males especially at parties etc lol
The bus driver one really got to me. I work as a janitor in an elementary school and it means so much to me when someone does take the time out to recognize me for the work I do and thank me for it. Before I worked at the current school that I’m at I worked at a high school and this student shyly came up to me and gave me a gift bag with candy and other treats in it (this was around the holidays) and I remember it made my day, hell it made my week! I remember telling so many people about it because it is rare for workers like me to get any thanks.
Please bring them back! Their commentary was absolutely awesome and did not hold back 😂 also it’s so nice how they didn’t interrupt during the story but once she finished telling it they POUNCED to speak their mind
My mailman looks forward to the cookies we give him every Christmas. He even mentioned it mid-summer about how much he loves those cookies! Random acts of kindness like that are so important to people!
Yesssss!!!! Following it up with “when you leave this earth no one will remember you. Not even your family” 🙌🙌🙌🙌 this amazing girl is all of us with our inner dialogue.
The woman from cookies story is a freaking angel. Like, I really struggle with gift-giving for special occasions and tend to feel really bad when I can't do something for my fam or friends. But this woman!!! If she randomly gave me cookies, I'd hug her so tight and would thank her for the rest of my life
It shouldn’t even matter if a wedding dress is “just a dress”. If someone tried on one of my everyday dresses without my permission and ruined it, I would still expect to be reimbursed, period.
and as someone who works at a wedding dress boutique, no matter how you feel about the tradition, they are NOT “just dresses." The amount of work and cleaning that goes into even the “cheapest” (like $600) is INSANE. And all the specific materials needed for (God forbid) alterations???? These are dresses people pay thousands of dollars to wear ONCE so making them fit perfectly is essential. That one story made my whole body hurt.
Its the disrespect and the complete disregard to something the belongs to her and something she cared about, on so many levels. Dump him. About just a dress, simply for the fact that she cared about it should've been enough to not take the dress. What else, what other things will he disregard and disrespect her on, when this was a SIMPLE dress? Hell fire red flag man. She needs to drop him.
For me its like this is an energy the energy in when i bought it what i bought it for and the fact that i know my daughter will one day wear it and they ruined the dress and in turn the energy it once held Vibes off now id need a new one too
Pregnant woman/adult diaper story: if thats how he handles pregnancy imagine how he’ll handle being a father, like having to get up with baby diapers and night feedings
@@QueenOfTheZombieApocalypse of course not. he's expecting the mum to do all the work. as long as she sleeps on the couch or the baby's room ofc, cuz she cant wake him up when she has to get up for the baby.
I was just listening to rottenMangoes podcast about that guy who dr*gged his wife and let other men r*pe her while she's unconscious and also r*ped the wives of those other men who were also dr*gged, and I had traumatic flashbacks.
PLEASE LET HER COME BACK I NEEDED THIS ENERGY ON THIS PODCAST!! She finally says the shit I would say or wish would be said. Pleaseeeee have her back as much as she’s willing lol
My biggest problem with the period story is, she is a 14 year old child! Her uncle should not have been made aware she was on her period in the first place, and then he shouldn't have drawn any attention to that. If my family got into an argument about me going swimming or not because everyone knows I'm on my period I would be completely mortified.
i’m a disability support worker who often works with clients who wear adult diapers. as soon as they are soiled you basically have to remove them straight away because you increase risk of infection, pressure injuries, and it’s just unhygienic to sit in your own waste. so even if she wore one, she would still need to get up and remove it if it became soiled. i can’t believe that guy would even think about suggesting his pregnant wife wear a diaper for his convenience. what a dick
Thank you for supporting our disabled and elderly, a truly honorable job. Secondly, you're absolutely right, that man needs to buck up and accept that a pregnant woman needs to use the bathroom often and in a hygienic way, even at the expense of your rest. He could just as easily sleep on a couch or futon and get his rest instead of making a fuss over it.
I used to work as a host. There was one busy day when we were running around trying to fit in reservations. I was getting really stressed because there were these two girls with a reservation who had been waiting like 20 to 30 minutes past their reservation. I was constantly apologizing because i was worried they'd be angry. Not only did they tell me it was fine, but they also saw that i was stressed and offered to pretend to have a question to give me a break. I immediately felt better and got them seated asap. All this to say a little kindness goes a long way and service workers def, appreciate it.
The drugging story is so terrifying… that sounds like someone who could end up dead. That’s 100% a form of control. That’s breaking someone’s boundaries. This is horrifying holy shit
Feeding someone drugs without their knowledge/ consent if definitely illegal. So no, it’s not “breaking someone’s boundaries” it’s criminal behaviour just like rape or murder etc.
@@ahumanaperson yea… I agree… I don’t know why you’re trying to argue with me. It is breaking someone’s consent someone’s boundary. It’s also illegal. You should assume we are on the same page babe. I’m not arguing your point. We quite literally agree.
Also for the period thing, when you’re swimming there’s something about the water pressure and stuff that keeps the blood inside while you’re submerged in water even without a tampon.
i was horrified by his wife being just as unapolagetically uneducated on that as him. has she never had experiences with it being in water and whatnot? shows how deep internalized sexism goes i guess
As a teacher, if a parent gave me cookies I would go home and cry about it. I would think about it forever. Even the smallest things are so nice, when someone recognizes and appreciates the work you do it is the best thing in the world. PLUS BAKED GOODS ARE SO GOOD!!!!
My grandma used to drive a bus and some of her kids once made her ornaments and to this day she still has them, she hangs them up every Christmas, and she can still name the kids who gave them to her. It’s not embarrassing it’s memorable
Please let Sarah become a regular cohost on the podcast, I really love her and she is sooo funny. This was also very unexpected collab that I did not expect, but I’m happy it did.
Right? I love the other hosts don't get me wrong, but this has to be my favorite episode of all 😭 she feels just as passionately about these awful ass stories as I do, not to mention she's hilarious
@@LeilaleilaZ I think she will be back sometime. Like with everyone else like her dad. If Sarah wants to, she is probably invited to be in future episodes :)
To me, the cookie story was very much a case of “if your wife is too much for you, then go find less.” As soon as Morgan read that she gives cookies to workers she thinks are under-appreciated, I’m like “omg I love her already. SHE is under-appreciated by her beige-ass husband!” EDIT: also, on today’s episode of “Things Nico Never Needed to Know,” thanks for making me Google “is urea good for citrus plants” 😂 turns out, it is, as long as you give them enough to counteract the salts.
I learned that pee was good for citrus trees from an author who ran around his property and relieved himself on his orange trees for convienience. Haven't thought about that for many years.
To the man who is embarrassed by his wife’s kindness I have two comments for you. One, did you meet your wife on the day of your wedding because it sounds like you did not know she was a kind person. If you knew that about your wife why in the hell would you want to marry her, if she is that embarrassing. Two, your wife needs to tell you, “ oh thank God, because if that’s the case we should really stop having sex, it’s not enjoyable and I was just doing it out of the kindness of my heart and like you said you’re embarrassed by my kindness, I’m just as embarrassed to have sex with you so we should really stop.”
my mother is a bus driver and she was appalled at one of these stories. she's recieved gift cards, chocolates, little cards, etc. from her kids that she drives to school and she always appreciates it. she has no idea why that man is being such a buzzkill.
when i took the bus to school in elementary school during the holidays or at the end of the year my dad would give my bus drivers a dunkin’ donuts gift card or something, and my grandma did the same thing for my sunday school teachers. even in school my mom would send me in with gift cards for teachers. it’s basically a tip.
imagine being mad at your wife bc she likes to give cookies to people. PLEASE, i would give everything to be close to someone like that, she is an ANGEL
Also for the anti-cookies guy, you just KNOW he grew up wealthy. Like, storybook villain material. It is a delicate flower of a person with a rain cloud over her head. How did they get married in the first place??
Agreed. "She gives gifts to people she feels is under appreciated" They probably are. Honestly no one ever knows if anyone is having a bad day, and how this one act of kindness was what they needed to make their day. Like what the f!ck.
It's always the upper class who feel embarrassed when people are being themselves and create situations that wouldn't be embarrassing when the upper class didn't have an issue with it. Upper class people seem to be unable to find the basic human in themselves and be empathic. Can't he see how this woman only wants to light up the lives of others with her bright shining light of love and support? Fucking cookies bro. Cookies. Never in the history of anyone anywhere was a normal human being embarrassed for cookies. I'll say it again. Cookies. Cookies. Hmmm. Cookies.
@@inesnathaliengoua that could always be a possibility, but the way he made it sound was like he never had to receive unplanned gifts or gifts of thanks. The whole "she's assuming lower wage workers feel unappreciated" is really telling to me, because 99% of us do since 99% of us are. That just shows he's likely never had to be in that position before. That mentally is just super common within the wealthy community, "charity" is bad unless it's taxable and workers have to directly earn anything they receive.
Fun fact! piss is actually really good for lemons/citrus trees. It makes the fruit grow HUGE. Obviously that person's is still within their right to ask them to stop, but it's better too know it's more of like an old gardener trick rather than some weird sex thing lol
I was looking for this. (Not related to this) Also, my grandfather is like super old, and he often uses the bathroom outside for no reason. He's just stuck in his ways and doesn't even think of using the bathroom in gas stations 🙄. He often carries a bottle to avoid using the bathroom inside. He's weird.
Watching from AU - and YES! it really IS an old gardener's trick to use Urine on citrus trees! I know of my dad and other relatives knew/used this method!!
The cookies one omfg. My grandpa was a mailman his entire life (basically) and would recieve many baked goods and other things from the people on his route. It never failed to make him happy and he still (even though he's retired) has a lot of those containers
As a service industry worker I appreciate even a simple "how are you today?" I've made it my personal mission in life to be kind to people doing me a service. Ask them questions, tell a joke, leave a good tip, stack the plates before I leave. Hell I gave a piece of homemade cheesecake that I made for my birthday to my waiter because the table across from us was so shitty to him. Just be kind what is so hard about that?
Yes!! I am the same way… People that don’t or haven’t worked in service industry just don’t get it. Just being kind can go a very long way! I’ve noticed over the last few years it seems like people are getting worse and worse to deal with. However, for the most part the good outweighs the bad. Just be nice!!
As someone who works in the service industry, one nice comment or someone stacking the plates can literally make the difference between a good or bad shift for me. Little acts of kindness make a huge difference
The thing with periods in water is that usually most of the pressure from the water keeps the blood up there. Even with a tampon it might leak but the leak is barely noticeable! Like it wouldn’t even show! More sweat would leak into that pool than blood.
Would you guys ever consider doing an episode with both Sarah and Drew Afualo? I loved both their episodes and I think it'd be so interesting to see them in an episode together.
The bus driver story reminds me of when I was in middle school, and for christmas we got my bus driver a $100 giant eagle gift card. When I got back on the bus in the afternoon she cried and told me how much it meant to her especially during the holidays. She said she would use it for her kids and family for dinner on christmas, which she didn’t originally plan on doing much for due to her tight money situation. It made me so happy seeing how grateful she was and knowing that my family and I were helpful in making her holiday special.
Divorce Parties are DEFINITELY a thing, I've been a part of one, and it was awesome AF!! I'd definitely throw one for a friend or family member without hesitation.
Literally was on swim team and I'm not a tampon gal. You don't bleed when you're in the water.. Like they said it's not the same as an open wound! Now if I hung out too long after I got out or before getting in, I would get like a smidge of blood on my swimsuit but absolutely never bled in the water and freaking never skipped a practice even on my heaviest days. Did it my whole life. Still do it today. It's completely sanitary, period flow is nil when in a pool. 👌
@@Sarah-Bouma16 I know lots of girls didn't wear anything during practice on my swim team back in high school. It was never an issue. With all the other things people bring into the pool just on their skin, a little blood isn't even a blip. I was a lifeguard and so I did the chemicals for the pool during my shift. There was no difference between if the girls' team had been in or if the boys' team had been in. This guy is just ignorant.
@@Sarah-Bouma16 You absolutely DO bleed in the water! What on earth? You're basically constantly rinsing that's why you think you're not bleeding, it's just diluting so you don't notice it. Sit in a tub on your period and see if it just "stops"
Who else puts their phone under the pillow or on bedside table, shuts their eyes, headphones in and just listens to these to help fall asleep ? It really helps me distract myself from my chattering mind at night ! Thanks for this content ❤
The one with the pool… wtf. When you’re young, it’s already a bit embarrassing when you’re new to having a period. So it’s awful enough that he called attention to it and made her feel like she’s somehow dirty somehow. What’s with men thinking that women just hemorrhage a river of blood? Even if she wasn’t wearing a tampon, you’d never see blood in the pool. Mom said she took precautions anyway.
I don't wear tampons and I have a pool and I've never had an accident, water actually stops the blood. Unless you pee in the water, but she would have been fine.
Competitive swimmer here. I and everyother women on my team still swims even on our periods. Working out can actually help with pain and improve flow. Also what does this dude think female Olympians do? He probably also thinks we can sync up our flows and control when they happen. SMH.
The story of the wife and the cookies reminded me of a story I had while working at a retail store. I was home from college for the summer and was working as many hours as I could manage. This meant early mornings and late nights which left me exhausted. One morning while trying to stay awake while manning the register two girls came in and bought a few things. We talked for a bit and I mentioned in passing how tired I was. I didn’t think much of it because it was just small talk and I went on about my day. Shortly after they left I had forgotten completely about the interaction when they came back into the store. They walked up to me and said “we brought you a coffee because you said you were tired.” That changed my whole mood, for the next week I couldn’t stop thinking about it. I wished I could have become friends with them, but there was no way since I didn’t know their names. Years later I was working at another retail store in a different mall and one of the girls walked in. I recognized her and told her how much I appreciated that small act of kindness, and added her on snap on the spot. We still randomly talk from time to time, and too this day I remember it so clearly because it was such a random act of kindness that made me so happy. (Also I just thought about this, but I show my appreciation a lot to my SO by bringing them coffee to work whenever I can, maybe it was because of that experience…)
I truly can't imagine what the second guy expects to happen when his wife has the baby. Even IF he expects her to be the main caregiver, she'd STILL be getting up at night? Isn't it the same thing? Or does he just expect her to sleep in the nursery with the baby or else god forbid he wake up.
I know it sounds awful and maybe even morbid but I bet their marriage falls apart a couple weeks after the baby is born bc if he is struggling soooo much when she gets up how’s he gonna cope with the baby screaming for a couple minutes at least???
The story about the wife giving the bus driver cookies is so relatable! My husband thinks it's weird because if I see something I think someone will like, I'll grab it for them, or I'll randomly make people food if I think they're having a rough time, etc. He'll tell me it's weird, but the difference between the story and my life is that behind my back, he will use it as a good thing about me behind my back. He understands where I'm coming from with it, but in his mind, it would be weird if people randomly gave him stuff and he would think it's drugged or there are ulterior motives or something.
I'm getting a divorce right now, we were married for about 5 years. My ex ignored my feelings and needs for most out marriage and blames me for "abandoning" him, he brought another woman in on our marriage and showed her more affection than he showed me for 5 years. He was engaged to his now fiance before I even moved out. I could use a divorce party, my now boyfriend appreciates every part of me and I'm much happier, even if my ex husband is actively trying to make me feel bad for being happy.
The story of Benadryl man literally chilled me to the bone. Like, I can not even begin to express how sickening and terrifying that frame of thinking is, to drug a person so that you don’t have to deal with them “acting out”, let alone carrying it out in real life. That “man” is not just an asshole of the highest order, he’s a fucking criminal and a monster.
It sucks that people think like this, and im so glad they're ok. My dad used to do this with me and my sister when we were little . He would put sleeping pills in our hot chocolate. And we were under 10. I don't think they were even safe for us. We're ok now and haven't spoken to him in years, btw.
Man i love the burnette and her blunt way of thinking and her action to "punch the man in his bird chest" that was funny as hell i would have busted out laughing if i wasnt at work at the time
The man who claims he knows about periods is incredibly ignorant. It is perfectly fine for people on their period to swim. The water pressure actually slows down the flow, and tampons and cups are suitable for water. It is actually encouraged to swim while on your period because it helps with cramps.
Wonder what he would think if he found out there are women who swim in sports and they don't take a week off when their on their period. He is so dumb and his wife is weird too.
For the guy who is embarrassed about his wife giving gifts, I work retail one time I handled a very hard and time consuming return for a women. 1 hour after she left the store she came back with a dozen crumble cookies she told me thank you so much here is something for you and coworkers. I will never forget her and aspire to be like her and show appreciation in better ways. Kindness does come easily these days instead making your angel of a wife feel horrible support her and treat her like the queen she is.
This is my first comment I’ve ever done on TH-cam… PLEASE MAKE HER YOUR CO HOST. This channel could easily be top 5 with you two. You both work very well together and Sara is the most interesting person and doesn’t get old listing to her side stories. She brings the laughter instead of being so serious and ALWAYS trying see both sides. She says what everyone’s thinking. Please please please have her as much as possible❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
On the Bus Driver story: my mom is a bus driver, she LOVES the gifts and snacks the kids/parents give to her and I can say that most of her co-workers also enjoy it. It’s a non verbal thank you, and shows appreciation for keeping the kids safe from home to school and vis versa
The year both my brother's and I were on the same bus, my mom got very friendly with the driver and bought her a cat tail plant at the end of the year. My mom got one at the same time for us and it lived for like 15 years and got massive. I still remember her too
the period story just really bugs me. I was a competitive swimmer for years, I was sacred the first time I got my period and did not know what to do. My friends and older girls in the team told me that I could wear a tampon but also that the water pressure would "cut" out my period for that time. Never once did any of the guys in the team made me or anyone feel bad about being on you period in the pool with or without a tampon. With that being said there was this time were on a very specific part of the pool the water change a bit of color people did not know if it was piss or blood, one of the guys said that is probably blood because the water turned more pinkish then yellow. another one of the guys said eww, to which the first guy the said that is was blood responded with "don't do that, it normal, it happens, there are girls who are 8-45 years old swimming in the pool, I am sure that those little girls who are around 11 or 12 that don't know or just don't want to wear a tampon at that age are feeling weird, so don't say eww and make them feel bad, you asshole." I will never forget it I was around 15 still scared to wear a tampon so that he said that it was okay made me feel better. (it was not me who had their period btw)(also the guy who said all of that was around 30 years old and he was talking to boys that were about 15-18 at the time)
I was a competitive swimmer for years as well!! I don't think any girls ever sat out on their period and if they did it was for cramps NOT for the blood
As someone with literally insomnia, I don't get to make the excuse that I can't sleep well or didn't get enough sleep, it literally doesn't matter cuz it only effects you. Do people just except people to give a single flying fuck about them, especially when it comes to the person you sleep with. Tbh, even sleeping in a different room over this still makes him a dick, like dude, get over yourself, you're a adult with a soon-to-be kid.
the fact that sarah didnt realize a bunch of these werent "am i the asshole" posts and were just sharing a crazy story or asking for advice makes this episode even funnier
The girl who got her drink spiked because she had an independent thought, that's literally a crime. He poisoned your drink... because he didn't like your behaviour?! So... what if you didn't wake up? Get out of there, get a restraining order. Do all the things to protect yourself. This is not OK... I realise I'm a year late lol
That poor girl with the wedding dress story makes me livid. I recently got married and if my mother-in-law tried my wedding dress on, especially without my permission, and my fiancé LET her do it, oh HELL NO. As her fiancé, he should know that dress is important to her and shouldn’t let anyone touch it without the bride’s permission, especially since she bought that dress herself. I can’t believe people like this actually exist wtf
As somebody who is severely allergic to Benadryl, if somebody were to drug my drink with Benadryl, 1. It could send me to the er, or 2, literally kill me. He should def be charged and she needs to get out of that relationship asap
My immediate thought was that he should be charged with multiple crimes- drugging her, kidnapping at that point because she cannot leave and it's likely federal because he crossed state lines. . . Then I thought Oh Sh!t! What if she was allergic or vomited and died. Murder/manslaughter!
Every holiday and “Teacher’s Appreciation Week” my mom would make little gifts for all my teachers and bus drivers, and she still does it for my little brother (who’s 10 years younger than me). That woman in the cookie story is /not/ weird.
Exactly. My mom did the same thing we handmade our teachers mini treasure chests one year for 2nd grade. In 5th I walked past the classroom and she still had the little chest propped up in the classroom. I’m not a teacher but putting myself in their shoes seems like it would be really appreciated same goes for the bus driver. They’re responsible for getting kids to the school safely and I’m sure a small gesture like cookies makes their day. She’s a kind woman can’t believe he is upset about it lol
This story really hit home, because I always had a hard time receiving gifts. I didn't value them as much as some people seen to (especially balloons). Once I learned about the Five Love Languages from Gary Chapman, that all changed. I have a friend that didn't want to have a wedding registry because they had everything already, but once I explained to her that some people want to support the new couple in the way THEY show their care; by giving gifts. Once the bride heard this point, she understood and and began a registry. As discussed with this story, sometimes it's about the gifter feeling good and that this is how they show their appreciation.
Some people treat money in a weird way like a sign of control. I think that's how OP treats it. They feel it's a way to assert dominance over someone instead of as a resource to help people.
For that last story re: the wedding dress.. It goes back to a previous podcast you had where the fiance is choosing his mom over his wife. Don't propose if you're not going to be your partners #1 supporter, not #1 backstabber. Also, what did they think would happen? She wouldn't notice the broken zipper and stretched fabric?? They didn't offer to pay for it until she complained. That's stealing and damaging property. I'd sue tf out of them and end the relationship.
Biggest red flag- using our doggie cameras to listen into me and my friend's conversation and then ask me why I was talking about him, also tracking my phone and quizzing me about the 5-sec detour I took without telling him. Currently in the process of trying to break free.
Honestly, the second story makes me think her getting up frequently is good practice for when the baby arrives. Babies don’t sleep through the night. He needs to grow up. Sounds like this poor woman has two children now.
Coming from a swimmer: your period stops underwater (whether you have a tampon in or not). The tampon is for when you get out of the pool because your period starts the moment you climb out.
I was recently housesitting for a friend whose son was getting married. They were stressing out a little bit over how the grandmother (96) would be taken care of if she wanted to go back to the hotel early after the reception. I figured it out but in the end the grandmother ended up staying until the end of the reception at almost midnight and was dancing at all. Grandmothers Live for this and if my grandmother wasn’t at my wedding regardless of how old she is or able-bodied she is she’s going to be there. PERIOD!!
With the first story. A huge reason my husband and I got married so young was so my great grandma to attend. Sadly she passed beforehand so we postponed for a while. And it was a small childfree wedding…
I've always thought it was a normal thing to do Throughout primary school my mum always bought presents for my bus driver for the holidays and last days and so did a lot of people Husband is wild

It was awesome and I’ll never forget her❤
she farted on them
That one about not wanting her future husband’s grandmother at her wedding….my heart BREAKS for that grandma and that poor man. I hope he never actually went through with marrying that witch.
Honestly, if my fiance make that request, I would genuinely question if I still wanted to be with this person.

Good on you for being open to hearing and learning about it.
She's informative without being condescending
Unfortunately, people find it weird to talk about, so it's difficult to discuss it. It's nice for some to be willing to learn.
"My wife wakes me up everytime she goes goes to the bathroom because she's pregnant"
I've got some flash news for you bud. Babies wake up in the night too, get prepared for that. 🤣
I didn't think of this, and wow, I feel so satisfied knowing he's got a big storm coming.

@@andradapasat8400 I think they have a divorce ahead of them

Yeah, had my first about a year ago and that is a whole different level of exhaustion. So crazy. Babies wake every 2 hours and you can't expect the mom to be the only one feeding and changing as milk production and healing from birth both take sleep for her. I feel so bad for her and the baby. I cannot imagine how bad the next year is going to be for them.
I love “if you think kindness is embarrassing, you are a complete loser” FACTS
And the fact that it’s not even the daughter that’s embarrassed…
“You are the color grey” 😂😂
The guy that let his mom and sister ruin his fiancé’s wedding dress has no respect for her. The fact that all 3 of them went behind her back and did that without her permission clearly indicates they all knew it was wrong and they did it anyway. I really hope she did not marry that family.
Trigger warning: SA
As far as divorce stories, my sister decided to leave her ex husband after she learned of a family history regarding pedophilia.
Garbage.
@@Bjorksbackyard sad part is that the stupid 'idk if their telling the truth' is the same reason most of us never tell.

I think there’s a better way to go about it for sure, but still it’s not from a bad place.
gardeners also wear dirty boots they cant take indoors, I'm guessing he doesnt want to take his boots off and let his stanky feet stink up the house
Literally take them to small claims court
Its the disrespect and the complete disregard to something the belongs to her and something she cared about, on so many levels. Dump him. About just a dress, simply for the fact that she cared about it should've been enough to not take the dress. What else, what other things will he disregard and disrespect her on, when this was a SIMPLE dress? Hell fire red flag man. She needs to drop him.
For me its like this is an energy the energy in when i bought it what i bought it for and the fact that i know my daughter will one day wear it and they ruined the dress and in turn the energy it once held

As a Starbucks worker who used to be given homemade cookies, that shit makes your day. Sometimes you be crying in the back eating cookies.
Sorry but this made me giggle a little bit

They probably are.
Cookies.
Cookies.
Hmmm. Cookies.
This!
(Not related to this)
Also, my grandfather is like super old, and he often uses the bathroom outside for no reason.

@@ella1819 they use she/they
As a service industry worker I appreciate even a simple "how are you today?" I've made it my personal mission in life to be kind to people doing me a service. Ask them questions, tell a joke, leave a good tip, stack the plates before I leave. Hell I gave a piece of homemade cheesecake that I made for my birthday to my waiter because the table across from us was so shitty to him. Just be kind what is so hard about that?
Never worked in service before but I do all of this just as a common courtesy to people. Makes life less miserable lol. Be kind everyone ☺️
This would be INCREDIBLE
Drew has a podcast now and she has an episode with Sarah! They're so funny together
I would cry the happiest tears
She did
The bus driver story reminds me of when I was in middle school, and for christmas we got my bus driver a $100 giant eagle gift card.
The idea that you shouldn’t swim in the pool while you’re on period seems nuts. What does he think swim teams do?
Like would this guy freak out so much about blood if one of his sons scrapped their knee while in the pool or got a bloody nose? My instinct is no.
right he’s acting like it would be fucking shark week LOL periods aren’t that crazy
“If you want a devils advocate, go to hell” I’m stealing that!
Who else puts their phone under the pillow or on bedside table, shuts their eyes, headphones in and just listens to these to help fall asleep ? It really helps me distract myself from my chattering mind at night !
Thanks for this content ❤
"if you need a devils advocate just go to hell" god i love sarah
Definitely my gold star moment from this video too.
LITERALLY!! I took a mental note of this and will be using it in the near future, without a doubt.
I want that on a t-shirt
The one with the pool… wtf. When you’re young, it’s already a bit embarrassing when you’re new to having a period. So it’s awful enough that he called attention to it and made her feel like she’s somehow dirty somehow. What’s with men thinking that women just hemorrhage a river of blood? Even if she wasn’t wearing a tampon, you’d never see blood in the pool. Mom said she took precautions anyway.
Exactly! And does no woman in the dude's life swim while they're on their period?
I don't wear tampons and I have a pool and I've never had an accident, water actually stops the blood. Unless you pee in the water, but she would have been fine.
your period actually stops when in the water too
@@jesystar yes the dude doesn't understand basic biology and physics. The water pressure doesn't allow blood to flow out.
Competitive swimmer here. I and everyother women on my team still swims even on our periods. Working out can actually help with pain and improve flow. Also what does this dude think female Olympians do? He probably also thinks we can sync up our flows and control when they happen. SMH.
I LOVE how sarah goes off in this episode
This is wonderful
this is so cute
This shouldn't have made me tear up wtf
I truly can't imagine what the second guy expects to happen when his wife has the baby. Even IF he expects her to be the main caregiver, she'd STILL be getting up at night? Isn't it the same thing? Or does he just expect her to sleep in the nursery with the baby or else god forbid he wake up.
Also…. Is she not allowed to roll over at night? Does everything she does wake him up? Dude get your own bed or grow up!
I’ve heard of couples getting sleep divorces where they have their own beds. If he is this difficult, they should do that.
Screw your ex. You deserve to thrive and be happy!
Happy divorce! I’m glad you found a good guy!
Congratulations on the divorce! 🎊
Psychopathic levels if u ask me
Same. I almost cried with relief when they read her update.
It sucks that people think like this, and im so glad they're ok. My dad used to do this with me and my sister when we were little . He would put sleeping pills in our hot chocolate. And we were under 10. I don't think they were even safe for us. We're ok now and haven't spoken to him in years, btw.
i felt so sad that she had to ask if he was the asshole. i really hope she won’t fall into that pattern
Man i love the burnette and her blunt way of thinking and her action to "punch the man in his bird chest" that was funny as hell i would have busted out laughing if i wasnt at work at the time
“Sir you are the color grey” HAHA’! That is such a perfect comment.
That was the best 🤣
this right here had me dying 🤣

The man who claims he knows about periods is incredibly ignorant. It is perfectly fine for people on their period to swim. The water pressure actually slows down the flow, and tampons and cups are suitable for water. It is actually encouraged to swim while on your period because it helps with cramps.
Wonder what he would think if he found out there are women who swim in sports and they don't take a week off when their on their period. He is so dumb and his wife is weird too.
What do you want to bet they think those women are witches? 🙄😂 no clue wtf is going on in their heads (edit for typo)

@@mlskksl omg I love this. And I'd want them to post their own Reddit post about it. Maybe r/murderedbywords or something
This! Men literally think that when we swim/take baths our water is just blood. Like bro come on, one itty bitty drop isn’t going to effect the water
I literally LOVE this hosts voice. I'm addicted to aita stories, and I always hear her voice reading these stories
The drugging story. In a hospital setting that’s called a chemical restraint. It’s no different then him tying her down.
She needs to get out ASAP. I'm legitimately afraid for her.

(it was not me who had their period btw)(also the guy who said all of that was around 30 years old and he was talking to boys that were about 15-18 at the time)
Awesome to know there are some sensible men out there. Thanks for sharing.
I was a competitive swimmer for years as well!! I don't think any girls ever sat out on their period and if they did it was for cramps NOT for the blood
That’s so awesome! That warms my heart ❤
Oh man, how I wish I had heard that. What an incredible human that man is. Good on him for teaching, not shaming them.
Pregnancy diaper story: she needs to tell him he can sleep on the couch...at someone else's house. And drum up divorce papers in the mean time.
I can't imagine looking the love of my life in the eyes and asking them to sleep in their own piss all for my comfort. What the hell 🤮
Right, the dude needs to grow up. He needs to understand what it is like to be pregnant.
I love her replying with “you ARE the asshole” to non-AITA posts. And she wasn’t wrong once
I LOVE SARAH AND HER VIOLENCE. AS SOMEONE WHO FREQUENTLY GETS VERBALLY VIOLENT. I FEEL VERY SEEN AND HEARD IN THIS MOMENT.
i love you
SAME!!!
As seen by your all caps comment 😂😂😂 Sarah is awesome
This is straight up abuse. So effing scary.
Same!! Benadryl sends me into anaphylaxis. If someone drugged me with Benadryl, I'd be dead within the hour without an epipen. That guy is so scary.
My immediate thought was that he should be charged with multiple crimes- drugging her, kidnapping at that point because she cannot leave and it's likely federal because he crossed state lines. . .
Then I thought Oh Sh!t! What if she was allergic or vomited and died. Murder/manslaughter!
I'm on a binge watch and WE NEED THIS CO HOST BACK PLEASE
That is so sweet! I bet everyone really appreciated it, and you guys sound awesome! 💖
The guy embarrassed by his wife is really just jealous that she is giving her attention to other people, at least, that's what I think
Sarah’s comments are hilarious 😅 her popping off on the dude embarrassed by his wife giving gifts was 👌🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙌🏻
For that last story re: the wedding dress..
I was thinking the same thing! Take that mom and sister to court and get all the damages she can from them lol
Period.
Biggest red flag- using our doggie cameras to listen into me and my friend's conversation and then ask me why I was talking about him, also tracking my phone and quizzing me about the 5-sec detour I took without telling him. Currently in the process of trying to break free.
just seeing this comment now, i hope everything is okay now!!
^^^ hope you’re safe!!!!!
this was the most funniest blunt straight forward episode i have ever watched. PLEASE bring this girl back wayyyy more
Honestly, the second story makes me think her getting up frequently is good practice for when the baby arrives. Babies don’t sleep through the night. He needs to grow up. Sounds like this poor woman has two children now.
Coming from a swimmer: your period stops underwater (whether you have a tampon in or not). The tampon is for when you get out of the pool because your period starts the moment you climb out.
Probably my favourite guest!! I love how heated she gets! Has the same reactions as I do. Living for it!
PERIOD!!
Loved Sarah's input on all the posts. She was so funny with her expressions and reactions 😂 can't wait for the divorce episode ❤️
"I wanna beat this man within an inch of his life!" She is a whole mood
I lnow right like everyone thay comes here is pretty cool but oh my god I felt like a little kid when they see their older sibling be mature
With the first story. A huge reason my husband and I got married so young was so my great grandma to attend. Sadly she passed beforehand so we postponed for a while. And it was a small childfree wedding…
Gift giving is the cookie woman's love language! Her husband sounds so bitter
Cuz he doesn't get any cookie(s)
I've always thought it was a normal thing to do
Throughout primary school my mum always bought presents for my bus driver for the holidays and last days and so did a lot of people
