OMG THANK YOU!!!!!!! I’ve watched several vids for returning players and I left more confused than when I started!!! The was the most comprehensive vid yet. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯💯💯
Finally, the video I’ve been waiting for and looking for. New player watch level 220. I’m not a gear moron and I’m not a numbers dumb shit. I started playing World of Warcraft when it came out so I understand the concept but over the years shit has gotten super confusing, or let’s just say more complicated. And everybody has their own way of doing it. I have watched every video about expertise, tinkering, proficiency, crafting. And this video is the only one that did not skip any steps. All the other videos tend to miss a step or two or gloss over something because they’ve been doing it for five years even though they’re creating a video for someone that needs to understand the concept.you did not do that. You started from the beginning hit all the main points and then showed us exactly how to do each process and actually did them on the screen. Anyway, thank you now I understand and yes, even after all this time I was doing it pretty much incorrectly, but at least I was moving forward. Now I can move forward faster and easier. Outstanding.
This was amazing bro, thank you! I was gone from the game for a couple years and came back to all this new stuff, and i was like…. Wtf , this going to be way to slow to do. THANK YOU 🎉😆😎
The hardest thing was the skills the one we dont use often and some named items. The field recon data. Craft as often as you can. Even 10-20 at a time. Any build you have that is a main weapon only kind. Equipped named weapons as secondary until proficient.
@@mezmauler it quickly became one of my favorite weapons to the point it's the only SMG I keep apart from exotics. A life saver too, and a better stack machine than the lefty or rock and roll

I find myself running out of SHD calibration more than exotic components just because I use so many SHD calibration when I’m optimising new builds. You realistically shouldn’t be max expertising most things in this game, only guns and skills you use very often, or your dark zone build/s if you want an edge in there. Anything else it simply isn’t worth the investment
The only way the tied result in ttk is possible is if the expertise 20 percent damage is not actually real. I would understand the difference being less than you would expect but not in between frames. I guess that’s possible on a weapon that’s base ttk is 1-2 seconds though
The expertise system screwed us over twice: First i got rid of all my double and triple exotic weapons, even god-rolled ones. No point in maxing out 2 of the same, right? Then we got to re-roll the second weapon attribute on exotics... Wtf!! So now go farm more exotic weapons, re-roll them, and re-level them... Or should i just risk re-rolling the maxed out god-rolled ones i have?
It’s very confusing but this video makes sense and finally helps. Why do they add more expertise like from 24 to 25 or 26? What are they trying to accomplish with that?
Your expertise only increases by how many items you are proficient with. So, you need to be proficient with more items. Either use items you don't use, or donate materials to those items. So, things like Oh Carol (the Christmas sniper rifle) that you likely never use, you need to be fully proficient (level-10 proficiency).
So I might be missing something to this. I'm grade 3, rnak 10 on most of my stuff. I have enough mats, but it still says I can't upgrade to not enough expertise level. Anyone know what I am missing?
In the game I like to help the newer ones, which is why I am a shepherd level 42, unfortunately the guys who have low XP, now what they do is set their world to heroic with all the directives active, and then they pass it on in cover, doing all his work, for you to make a video about it since regularly when transporting you to his aid, most of us, including myself sometimes, abandon immediately. I'm not complaining, because I also earn points, (more takes a lot of time) but I think it's not a good, fair way to level up and in the end they don't even give you the recognition, they just wait for the next call and that's how they pass it on.
Bro i think i play with you i know your voice. I remember you were telling me about how i can increase my damage and look at the numbers in damage i was putting out.
Bro i just got into D2 last year im a late starter i hit 1000 llike 2 weeks ago my level is only 5 almost 6 😢 i dont understand every single mechanic but i am learning
Expertise was added during the long content draught , so the Devs could throw the players something pointless to chase. Pointless because each season the NPCs are buffed so in actual effect you are gaining nothing, apart from in PVP. All proficiency has done to PVP is just split and put off players from going into the DZs.
hey duh, your bandido blocks the screen where it shows what resources are needed, iotw viewer can't really see what you're talking about. they can see your bandido if anyone cares.
I buy a bunch of Yaahl pieces when vendors have them for sale. Crush them. And use the Yaahl points to craft the pieces i need. It's tedious and forget about ever crafting godrolled items. Good luck!
Yeah, they'll pop up every once in a while with a main vendor. Just go HAM when you see one. I have a ton of Yaahl and never touched the dark zone or a DZ vendor.
once you achieved effective time to kill (relevant to content difficulty/armor HP), you get a serious diminished return on damage. Also, the diminished return on how damage stacks in many cases. (additive, multiplicative)
One thing that he don't discuss is expertise in pvp. Expertise in pvp DOES a BIG difference. Not a waste of time at all if you plan to stand your ground competitively in the dark zone or any pvp content really.
Real rare resources ? What you talking about, exotics are easy to come by these days they are in weekly projects (3 components), weekly shd (1 component), weekly summit (1 component), etc Expertise 14 is the easy one as only two exotics (13 &14) and they are easy to get these days with the projects.
@@TuxedoBandido It's easy enough to follow along with anyway, it just amused me that he didn't take a walk over to the left bottom corner or something 🙂

The healing drone gets duration from expertise. Its continous repair while its out so why not max its duration
Because u will die before it expires anyway 😉
I watched this and the section "Worth It" left me to conclude Expertise is a fantastic waste of time.
It’s a sham, and the more loot they add, the more the loot pool gets diluted. Have to keep players chasing the carrot

rare because of demand vs the rate of accumulation. Rerolling exotics is an unknown quantity, expertise requiring 42 per.
