They had to or DeNiro would have went vocal. I suspect that this has become so common lately they just don't have the staff to handle the tremendous caseload. Citizens need to organize and demand this crisis becomes a priority. Raw materials often come from China and travel over the Mexican border. Are they even serious about closing the border? The supply chain needs to be targeted at its origins to make an impact. Getting serious and allocating more resources to increase LE to target local dealers won't even make much of an impact. Much more education to young people might help a little though.

It would help, along with parents not concerning themselves with being friends with their children. Be the parent and continually support a clean living message through words and actions. It’s nearly impossible to die from Fentanyl poisoning, if you never ingest drugs not prescribed to you. It’s that simple. The poor Mom in this video has so much healing ahead of her; I pray she has a great support system.

It never worked and it never will work. Kids are kids and they try things, thinking "nothing will happen to me".
And if police puts everyone behind bars who sold something laced with fentanyl, someone else will sell it. There are so many poor and so many troubled people. : (
Back in the 70s we were told, we are about to lose our live if we take drugs - it did not bother me. Better dead, than in pain. And no, rehab would not help .Maybe therapy if you are lucky and find a really good therapist and can afford it. And it takes many years.

Yes! I used to work on a brain injury unit. I said the same thing about people who rode motorcycles and ATVs, that they should bring high school field trips through there so they could see young people with trachs, tube feeds, craniotomies and wearing diapers as result of those things. It’s so hard to convince kids these bad things can happen to them.

It's so unfortunate how she was so nervous about upsetting him by knocking on his door to wake him up, "I didnt want to get in trouble if I woke him up" no child should ever act in such a way that makes a parent walk on eggshells not wanting to upset them.

Im sorry for your lost. I'm 3 years drug free. I did it for myself but also because i didnt want to break my Mama's heart. She has 8 children and i didnt want to be the reason she cried everyday. I'm praying for you and in honor of you and your son I'll continue to fight the good fight of staying sober and "NOT"returning to my life of addiction God bless you ma'am 🕊️ 🤍 🙏🏾🫶🏾..

I lost my daughter to an overdose in November 2023 , I have often called the detectives to see if any investigation has lead up to anyone's arrest.
I had talked to several people that knew my daughter and the dealer that sold her the drugs.
    Still no arrest.
If anyone from lumberton nc is reading this the dealers name was Nennie Keisler, and yes he is still selling his poison at the same place and no arrest yet.

In almost every episode I've noticed 2 things that should be made to available especially to those in Rehab. 1, once presumed to be a Fentanyl Death, deceased is devalued as once being Human. 2, How that Devaluation Rips at the Soul of those left behind for a second Time.
