I really like every scene with Cao Xiao Shu, he is always awesome even though his power not high as the other characters. I also like this one.. 2 guys are the most handsome in this series
If there’s a season 3 maybe they could resurrect him through some miracle??? Maybe Haotian/Sang Sang can? I mean his arc was really quite cool in season 1, in season 2, it’s just wakes up, marries his saviour who’s a widow and then makes her a second time widow.

This is edited script, the novel didn't have this scene. It's totally ridiculous considering the power of the two old man.
In the novel it states that chao was resurrected by haotian and the drinker and the butcher also lives
