Tecovas is an awesome boot that looks great. I am a person of color. I am from a city in the Northeast. I took the plunge, a year ago, into cowboy boots and haven't looked back. If you like something you owe it to yourself to try it. To be honest, no one cares what you are wearing. And if they do, they are very insecure people. Be yourself and be confident. Cowboy boots look classy. Dress like a man and not a little boy. It's time to grow up. (Two Thumbs Up)
I think when the say a black person may not wear Western boots, I think they get it wrong. Most people who live in cities, whatever skin color they are, don’t wear cowboy boots. There are a lot of black, rural Southerners that wear them.
I've been down the cowboy boot rabbit hole. Just bought my second cowboy boot two weeks after my first. What I've noticed is nobody puts tree in their boots. It stops the leather from creasing and keeps them looking new longer and keeps the shape and using cedar stops the stink! Congrats on the nuptials.
Yep. Boots/ Shoes in rotation have cedar. Those not have plastic. Which helps retain shape. Wool socks also are a plus along with powder if you have sweat issues.
I got these beautiful exact boots in the same color. I specifically chose these boots because I do own some dress slacks that taper towards the bottom hems preventing me from being able to use regular high shaft cowboy boots which in turn will show through the pant legs a little too much. --------- Nice video, nice boots, and nice story.
I’m about to buy my first “cowboy” boots with the Tecova Roys in Honey Suede. I wear very slim jeans and I think this will work well. This video was a great help. Thanks.
I got my first pair of Tecovas because of your reviews on the brand, and I am very satisfied with my suede ¨the Johnny¨ , very high quality and super comfortable. Great looking too, that light brown suede is very cool on the western heel of the Johnny.

I think its more about where and how you grow up. I think most people from south of the Mason Dixon line had at least one pair growing up. Not really a black, white or Latino thing but more of a culture thing.

You should learn more about American history. When the Europeans came here in the 15th through 18th centuries, considering where they came from, how much do you think that they knew about raising cattle, as opposed to the Africans and the Mexicans? There were black cowboys too. The writers of American history and western movies just took them out.
I just purchased the Zane fine Ostrich leather wow these boots are Amazing I love them and I will Never buy any other brand . My Ariat boot's felt like concrete blocks compared to these fine quality Zane's.
I love Tecovas, got 2 pairs, but I think Ariat is the best entry boot company. And where I go to school on Long Island I noticed tons of minority students wearing shit kickers after I started wearing them, me being half black myself.

You can use boot straps , rubber bands or Velcro to minimize the boot shaft while wearing
