Tyvm for your very helpful and informative video Elisabeth. Loved the peony embossing folder in the tumbled glass oxide shade. It was beautiful and your tip for adding extra detail to the flower by stroking and flicking the pad made it pop out even more. Tfs x

This was such a fun video to watch….the 3D embossing folders are so popular now and this gives us all lots of new ideas on how to “stretch” their use. Also liked the way you made those tags as a reference for each idea….I know I have made something and later looked at it later, and wondered “ How the heck did I do that?” Thank you again!

Hi, wonderful video, thanks for all your hints and tips, I have bought a number of her embossing folders a couple with the dies. I used craft card and embossed it with the variegated folder then swiped yellow, brown, orange and red across it to get the autumnal look, I’m all Lisa Horton just now, love her stuff, I’m waiting for the ulti-mate and the wild flowers set to arrive, I’m surprised there are not too many videos with the wild flowers set I love it, thanks again, take care.

What a fantastic video! Soooo many good ideas explained and demonstrated so well. What is the brush you use for your perfect pearl powders. It’s double ended and looks like a great tool for the powders.
Thank you. I’m pleased to read you enjoyed the video. The brush is essentially a cheap blusher/make up brush. The brush is very soft and the sponge is similar to a blender.

BEAUTIFUL!!! What kind of brush are you using with the mica powder?
Thank you Vicki. In this video I used a brush that came with the mica powder but you can use make up style brushes. I would suggest a small tipped or stipple brush to add the mica to the surface. Then a wide soft brush to blend in and buff up the colour. I hope this helps ?

What are the two silver powders you use on the pink card stock?
Hello Kathy. It is the Grey Soot Mica powder from Lisa Horton Crafts. thatcraftplace.co.uk/collections/lisa-horton-crafts-powders-and-glitters-1/products/metallic-mica-powders-and-brush
How does it stay on? I’m in the US, was hard to understand.
@@kathyshortt6982 to begin with I stroked sticky Embossing ink ( I use WOW) over the embossed card. Then I brushed over the mica powder and smoothed it in. Finally. if you need to fix it in place lightly spray fixative spray or hairspray over the top. I hope that helps.
Does this work with clay earings?
I have used air dry clay with these embossing folders and it works well. I’m not sure what type of clay you use for earrings.

I don’t know which side of the folder to ink up?
Hello Julie. It depends upon the effect you want to achieve. The first time you try. Ink up both sides of the folder. Use some scrap card. Run it through your machine and see which side you prefer.
Generally. The ink settles on the raised up areas.
