I love embossing cards. Just received balloons and rose from Altenew. I absolutely love your tips. Now I know how to use my warped ones and to keep wet ones in folder till dry. Beautiful cards!!! Thank you!!!!!!

The way you remove the liner on that double faced tape is GENIUS!
Thanks, Anne. I have been removing the backing on double-sided tape in that manner for ages as it gives me more control when attaching to another surface.

I also enjoy the 3D embossing folders. I love to run a pigment ink over the card after it is embossed and sometimes put a little bit of perfect pearls over the pigment ink for a little sparkle. I think these embossing folders make such elegant cards and require very little time and effort.

Thank you! Please do get your embossing folders out and try them with different types of cards. The thickness of the card makes a difference to the resulting image and remember to spritz your card with water (or pearlescent liquid) first so the fibres are softened!

Thank you. The circular 'thank you' die is from one of the Spellbinders monthly subscriptions.

Beautiful, but it's hard to find 3D's in my area. Can you tell me where I can get them?
What country are you based in?
Angela, what a great idea to leave the cardstock inside the embossing folders so they'll dry flat! How long does it take before they're dry enough to remove?
Thank you for visiting. How long it takes to dry depends of the thickness of the card and how saturated it is. I generall use 100lbs card and 2-3 spritz of water and that takes about an hour to dry completely.

I've just bought a few new embossing folders from the links you posted. Couldn't believe it was £15 postage I'm in Scotland UK. As its international please tell me I won't be charged any extra when it gets to customs x

You're clearly a night owl like me:) Sorry, unfortunately the custom charges for items from US into Scotland, there are charges sometimes. It's just not consistent. If you're in the UK, the place to get most of the US based products is either at Bumbleberry Crafts or Sevenhills Crafts. I do not have affiliate links to either of these establishments but I've bought from them and service is good and no additional custom charges. Hope you did not buy too much but going forward get it from these shops online. Thank you for stopping by and I'm in Scotland as well. I have a free Altenew workshop on stencil techniques if you're interested on Sat, 14th Jan at 3pm GMT.

You might also try CraftStash (UK). They carry Altenew products and have free shipping. I just don't know what the purchase threshold is for Eu free shipping. I believe they also cover custom charges.
