Great video Ian, well done on the £500 day that takes some doing, love how thorough you are with your business I try and be the same its the only way to properly see growth. Good luck & on to the next £500 day
Good sales and I think you were right to accept the offer on the Ronaldo card. Take the money while it is on offer. Nice card, mind. LEGO sale is very impressive, didn't realise that Ninjago set was so valuable. Keep the live videos coming as well, been decent so far!
I know you're a collector (I'm a subscriber to your channel) so wanted to let you know I've just listed my transformers from when I was a kid in the 80s. Job lot
Did exactly the same as you with the IKEA Lego; rushed down there day of release and bought loads of it! Fortunately I kept the receipt (you get a year for refunds) and just kept back one of each of the different boxes/sets. Worth it for the mini Lego hotdogs mind! haha! Keep up the great work mate!
Congrats on the PB mate. We're finding ebay sales are strange too. Last few months we have a random great sale day which boosts our weekly total. It's seems to be a different day of the week each week, weird.
im finding its so flashy at teh moment. If we have a day off listing our sales plummit (more so than usual if we have a day off - are more people listing items atm so if your not are your listings being pushed down the search quicker!??) I don't know
@@MasterofPieces We've been consistently listing 5 a day for a very long time. Sometimes, when low on stock to list, we will end certain listings and sell similar. I'm sure many many re sellers do the same. When we first did this, we definitely saw an increase in traffic/sales. As for the algorhythm thing, I blame the buyers really. I'm shocked at how few people know how to use ebay. If for example they are looking for an exact lego model, many will just search 'Lego'. They'll miss half the listings of the specific model they want. They also rarely seem to use the 'Lowest Price' first option in the drop down box. We continually see items selling which we have in stock for cheaper. people are weird. And promoted listings play a role too. We never promote because we pay ebay too much as it is. But we have taken part in an ebay funded Promo Sale where ebay promoted all our listings for free and covered half the sale discount we offered. We sold tuns and it was crazy here for a few weeks. in August/September . But if we did that regular, the fee's would be massive and our little side hustle would become a full time job that would not replace our salaries. I think some of the fun would be lost too. Bigger isn't always better (As the actress said to the Bishop) Sorry for the long post.
Remember buddy your not selling to the masses you are selling to individuals who want certain items, so you will have your ups and downs until you grow to a point where that won't matter. Congratulations on your sales, buddy.
cheers Jackie, yeah I've thought this. Sales have always been conveniently spread out i.e. couple of sales a day spread rather than all on one day. Always wondered if ebay actually influence that
@@MasterofPieces there is so much more Going On Behind the Scenes than we realise and I believe eBay is competing with Amazon and not Vinted. You were always going to grow when you put your mind to it making it a family business is 100% the right thing to do. Regardless of all the naysayers eBay is a platform that does help sellers as well as buyers.
Was in IKEA last week and was surprised to see BYGGLEK still on shelves. Either it's been successful and they keep producing it, or it's a bit of a dud (after all it's only basic bricks) and they can't shift them.
Hi Ian. Always enjoy your videos but I reckon you could potentially improve your Likes a little with a small change. By the time you remind us to hit Like there is not always enough time before the video ends (I watch on a TV app and once the video ends it closes). Granted people can reopen it to put the like on but human nature probably means they won’t bother. Back in the days flippingsloth always put some extra seconds at the end of all his videos, which showed his details and played a catchy tune, in order to give you that time to click like and/or subscribe. All the best!
Well done. What's your ebay name? You should put a link to it in your TH-cam bio / videos. Your costing yourself business by not using TH-cam as a free link to your eBay!
Doubt many are going from a video to ebay to buy things... most would just have a nose at what I'm selling and keep scrolling. That hurts the ebay algorithm. I'm pretty easy to find on there as it is
On a side note isn’t Ronaldo in controversy at the moment, it’s prolly better to wash your hands n make a quick buck before even worse things come out?
Seen this phrase a lot when other resellers were reaching the 100k turnover mark... and I disagree. Turnover as a metric holds the same importance as profit (if not more for growing businesses)
Sometimes I think because you like the item you don't want it going cheap ..my wife is selling a rare cd on ebay with others wanting over £300 for a £100 ..
@@MasterofPieces We all know why you wouldn't do it, the illusion would pop like a kiddie's birthday balloon on a fence spike. You have so many words, and god knows so many videos about claimed profit and sales. Is it not the case, that the only thing that matters in reselling is the only thing you do not show anyone- your 90-day and annual sales figures! Pop up on the screen and add as many thousands of words as you like alongside them.
500 smackers go on Ian lad!, looks like the new set up and routine for the Store is paying off happy for you mate
I think the new set up definitely has something to do with it..I'm also listing up my best stock to get best price on the Christmas run in too

Well done MOP . Cracking sales and a lovely achievement too . Great vid as always 😊

This is very true!! And why the sell through rate is so important
@MasterofPieces exactly, mate
Keep up the great work.
10/10 jumper had to say it after watching 3 seconds 😂
Haha yeah I like it too
Congratulations on your new PB!
If you post with Evri, you might save a few quid.
Well done Ian Impressive mate 😊👍
Cheers panzer :)
For tracking your sales try flipwise
Never heard of flipwise tbh. Will Google it
The prices of some cards always amazes me
Same... some are crazy... but then that's collectors I guess when they want something scarce
I feel anything collectable wise if you've sat on it long enough sometimes it's best not to gamble on holding. Especially of interest isn't there now
its a decision I always struggle with... when to let it go. Theres always a risk that things will go up but equally a risk things go down. tricky game
Slamming it Dude. Used to be £500 a month. Great work. 💪💪💪.
Ebay control sales. The algorithm spreads sales. It's just the way it is. Take a slow sales day as a rest day ❤

Cheers JDLB... you can do it mate 💪
Can I ask who you semd your cards to as I need some football cards done?
I went with gradedgem before they shut up shop. Not submitted to PSA since
Go on son
Cheers Ricky lad
Do you send your cards directly to PSA yourself or do you go through a third party company?
I haven't sent any off for a while but when I did I went through a middle man
whats your ebay store plz mate
I would of kept the sicker and give it to your kids when they both hit 18
sold it Jon... took the money and ran ha
@MasterofPieces it's one of them, which one is the one worth thousands?

save all the words and just show us your 30-day total from your eBay page?

For £20 more would I have waited? ... Nahh
It's more should I just sit on it for 30 years and see what prices are doing then
