Agreed. Vinted are well known for clothes I would say. Like we said in your live the other day, it will be interesting to see what the new year brings as well.
it will be interesting and we wait with baited breathe. I get ebay want to keep their cards to their just but it would be nice to know what theyre thinking
I’m just like you Ian, if I want to know how something sells, I have to buy it and find out for myself. G Stars aren’t the best sellers but there’s definitely profit there. Like you said, you’ve just got to be a bit patient. Those 270s are a great find though, still a top seller versus the 720s and other Air Max models which just don’t seem to hit the mark for some reason. Clothing isn’t for everyone but there are so many great garments out there, waiting to be found. I’ll sort my membership out when I get another moment too!
Yeah thats the way that I learn and actually remember what I've learnt. Checking solds in a shop gives that instant answer but I quickly forget it. I'm happy with the 270s, was wearing them yesterday ha... I'll end up keeping them. Ne good to have you on board mate
Yeha seems to be the trend that more and more are closing down. There's a couple that have gone by me.. but there have been a couple that have popped up too
First thing il be doing when my shop is off holiday mode , crashing loads of clothes on then toys and collectibles. Deal or No deal price tanked i have two on my shop really cheap now to try and get rid . I’m try to stay clear of board games now they take up to much room and worth very little for the time and effort listing them . Unless it’s a rare one or has a pop culture influence then i may consider . Nice pick ups mate enjoyed watching 👍🏻 Sometimes i will have a long run of listing toys collectibles and ceramics etc . Then go back to listing lots of clothing it mixes it up nicely 😊
yeah i tend to list stuff in batches... I find I can get into the zone that way. last night i just rattled out a load of Wii stuff. Tonight i'll tackle the jeans. Enjoy the holiday :)
I'm sure you already know but that Coraline DVD sells for decent money. Got £20 for one recently. Great vid and good to see you back amongst the Transformers!
@@MasterofPieces Game used to have machines but they got rid of them, only online cd repair services available, I thought what could go wrong, the discs were already not working. I had 3 Wii Mario Kart games that didn't work, fixed them, sold them with wheels for £12 each. Couple of minutes each to fix them. Or you could spend hundreds on a CD fix machine...
i honestly wouldn’t have bothered with the G-Star jeans. Every pair I’ve had have taken forever to sell, well over a year most of the time so i’ve given up picking them up now. The only ones that seem to do well are the Elwood ones that have the big 96 embroidered on the back.
Ha we'll see how they go... no comments on here saying 'good buy' so get the impression that others are on the same page as you. Clothing is something I want to get into more. By not touching it I'm literally ignoring 3/4 of the charity shop. To learn about something I need to have the item in hand (its just the way I work). Clothing outside sportwear is generally new to me so if the gstar jeans are a mistake, then at least vie got lots of different types here to investigate. They will defo be mistakes along the way but I'm looking at the bigger picture and the gained knowledge of exploring a new niche
just had a look on ebay and all of mine are 36 inch waste. In the UK there are only 300 preowned 36 inch waist gstar jeans listed and there are 220 sold in the last 3 months. Prices aren't crazy but theres hope!!!
Hi mate them blue trainers are lil kreets a pair sold on eBay preowned for £45 in Sep if your are interested just letting you know Keep up amazing work
You should have got those bershka trainers with the chain attached as they are a good seller as i have bought and sold those before and made good money.
Should definitely pick up those empty wii game cases or other cases for good / valuable games. Often if you tell them you've found they're empty and offer a nominal amount as a donation most charity shops will say yes because they'll only throw them. Came across an empty spiderman ps3 web of shadows case recently with manual cost me 50p. Tgen bought the disc only to complete for half the price of what would pay CIB
great video and because i'm watching you are now in my listing for an asus VG248QE. I might have the box for that sony cassette recorder, i bought a faulty one if i can find i will send it on
@@MasterofPieces on my eBay listing! I pop a video on electronics! I’ll have a mooch and if I can find that box I’ll post it to ya, puts value on your item
Your the other UK Channel I actually watch... glad you popped up...LaxvespaLosAngeles.. I would list on both platforms & any other platforms available... you want as many eyes looking at your goodies..
I don't think we really can adjust the price... I price my items generally at what they're selling for. Just because fees may be reintroduced, the buyers wouldn't pay more to cover the extra fees... I think I'll just have to take the hit.
Serious question. Why are you are business account on eBay? I’ve been selling on there part time for 18 years and have never had a business account, and I make a living from it. I Pay for a shop, but having a business account seems mental to me.
If it's no good, I'll sell it on ebay.. that is not a good thing to say.. I won't be buying from you. If you sell things that you know are no good.. wow
Where I was going with "if its no good" was if I find that I don't actually use it then I can sell it on ebay. Assume you've taken it as the item being faulty/not working which I could then still sell for spares/parts. I obviously wouldn't sell something that doesn't work and claim that it is working .... that benefits no one. As a business seller I accept returns so would waste everyones time. No drama round here
We are lucky in Norfolk as there are so many little towns full of charity shops. Great pick ups and great video as always
100% agree with this 😋
sounds a fun place to shop. Its not too bad round here too...every shop seems to have its day
@@MasterofPieces every street has at least 1 charity shop on it 😂😂
Wow, you’ll have more pairs of jeans than me. Have fun listing them, it’s a session in itself
You talk a lot of sense about the eBay vs Vinted saga! Ppl not seeing the bigger picture as per usual aye! 😅🤜🏼
yeah big companies don;t make react snap decisions... its all planned with many factors to consider. All will be done to make their business strnger

Iv always gotten a buzz of joy when a charity shop opens. Though over the years they have just been shutting down in my town. 😢

A pants day kind of day huh? That's cool, great finds with the model cars and airplane. Great video Ian
ha yeah I've had a bit of luck with jeans recently so thought i'd ride the wave
This was brilliant keep it up 🥰
cheers Ryan
The winners of Vinted Vs eBay have got to be the charity shops, more people using them to source that would never usually go near the clothing.
Cracking haul I'll have to go there soon!
yeah was decent in there. clothing was pricy mind

A Ferrex 20v cordless polisher and t-cut brings up CD’s and DVD’s nice, means you can pick up scratched discs and fix them

its in the ebay T&Cs that buying to resell requires a business account. I've had one since I started and I'm on youtube publically promoting what I do

That is what everyone does if they think they don’t or no longer like something they sell or get rid of it. Yet here you are still watching the video.
