  • little paint job i did to it but its bone stock the exhaust i took the tip off that's why it sound like aftermarket one lol
great atv for pretty much trailing, mud, rocks, maybe sand but its made more for trails :)
Utility ATV owners will be pleased to know that this engine is the most powerful in Honda’s ATV lineup, edging out the 675cc 2008 FourTrax Rincon. To put that in perspective, ATV.com has put together a little one-question quiz to stir up some of those SAT memories: What do you get when you put an engine with more power than a Rincon in an ATV that weighs 143 pounds less than a Rincon? Since we like you, we won’t even ask you to fill in your answer with a Number 2 pencil, because there is only one answer - a hell of a lot of power.
All that power, which is channeled through a five-speed gearbox with reverse, is something you can feel as soon as you start it up. We tested this vehicle in completely stock form, including tires, but it ripped through the sand dunes with no problem. Some of the dunes were hundreds of feet high, but there wasn’t anything we pointed it at that it didn’t climb with relative ease. This quad really has high-end torque to burn. Sand tires certainly would have helped a little when trying to climb from a dead stop, but they’re not a necessity.
Outside of the sand, we couldn’t find a lot of flat, smooth stretches to open things up and pin the throttle in fifth gear. That said, after flying across the gravelly area that leads up to the dunes, ATV.com can confidently say that this quad is plenty fast. Nobody, thankfully, had a radar gun on hand, but if we had to guess top speed, we’d say ‘fast enough’. Surely the aftermarket will find ways to squeeze out more horsepower and top speed, but this quad has more than enough oomph to keep a smile on your face for a long time.

i have a trx450r and i took it trail riding for the first time today and it was very rough. felt like riding a bike without suspension. i could feel every little rock and bump. softened the suspension to the softest it could go to see if it would make a difference and it didnt

@@potatolime8351 yes, mine was the same. I sell it and i bought the Yamaha Raptor 700, it's in another level, lighter and more agile, and the suspension it's way better! You can see them on my TH-cam channel.

I have the same bike. I took off the heel gaurds, put 1 1/2" spacers on the rear to go from a 4/144 to a 4/110 to have more options for wheels and tires, but those are going to come off now that i found some wheels that will fit it, the width is too much in the back for narrow trails. I also put on a Big Gun Evo/R full exhaust, Alba Programmer, Velocity air filter and pre filter. I love this bike in the sand, it can go anywhere and do anything any other bike out there can do, it is heavier so it handles a little different but it goes.... Did I hear you say Sand Lake? Are you from Oregon? I Ride Sand lake, Winchester Bay and Coos Bay a lot.

If they made it with a straight axle this quad would be wicked. How are you gonna drift corners and stuff with IRS. Probably could’ve been a raptor killer had they done it right and continued making it.

Why I will never get one, other than that they look bad as fuck

It is wicked. Throw on a Layton Racing sway bar and you can slide through the corners and not high center on rutted out trails. The thing's a beast.

Spend a few minutes riding one and you'll see that you can get the rear sliding no problem. Word of warning though. Make sure you're pointed the right way when you get back into the throttle if you're not manhandling it. If you're not in total command of when it hooks back up, it's going to find traction and go full send in whatever direction the rears are pointing.

I had this problem with a dg full exhaust on a older Trx. I wrapped it with exhaust wrap I ordered online. They even have colors. My wrap was red. Helped a lot!!
