Rob has such a sweet, soulful voice and he slays this. Rob is a vocal chameleon - if you haven't seen his duet with Austin of "Nessun Dorma" (on Austin's channel) - you'll be astonished. In an interview, Austin said he really wanted to show off "opera" Rob but Rob said he wouldn't do it if Austin didn't sing it with him. Austin said he was okay but that Rob was just incredible.
You wanna hear Austin really sing? Check out Home Free's cover of "When a Man Loves a Woman". Austin is out of this world. This song certainly demonstrates that Home Free isn't "just" a country a capella group.
Awesome talent. Rob killed it. Well, they all did. When they were on the Sing Off, Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men was a judge and he loved them. I think they did the song justice. Great reaction! I Can’t Outrun You, Helplessly Hoping, One Man Band, Die a Happy Man.
When my 30 yo singer daughter working with me, I gave her a little break and had her listen to this and Traveling Soldier. I then asked her if she wanted to go with to a concert. She was immediately excited to go.

Chance is also fantastic in Some Girls Do and especially I Can’t Outrun You, which is among their best of 5-part harmonies - the artistry of the video, which was his concept, Will blow you away!
You've seen Rob rap (Butts Remix), sing country (Man of Constant Sorrow) and now sing blues/soul. If you haven't checked it out yet, take a look at Austin and Rob's side gig singing Nessun Dorma on Austin's channel for his opera voice. The man's a chameleon.
The first time I saw this, my reaction was something like "Rob, dude, where did that come from?" For a totally different side of both Rob and Austin, watch their version of Nessun Dorma. It's on Austin's channel.
What's so great about this group is that anyone of them can step into the lead and you get great vocals and when they come together it's more than the sum of the parts. You should check out some of the solo and duet work by Tim and Austin. You'll have a greater appreciation of their talents. And you really need to see the video Rob and Austin did singing Nessun Dorma. You will be blown away by it.
Love your reactions, Now Please react to Rob and Austin singing the opera " Nessum Dorma!! on Austin Bown's channel, Two COUNTRY Singers try singing OPERA
What words to describe Rob's performance here? Spiritual fulfillment, maybe. Emotionally satisfying in every way. Stupifying in allll the best ways, definitely! And just when you think it's the best he can get, two notes later brings an even higher level of OMFG that came out of our teddy tenor bear? Austin is a fantastic singer, but Rob's voice appeals to my ears so much more (happy sighs). I'm not knocking my fellow ginger - like I said, Austin's great - it's just that my ears can be sensitive to certain pitches (Austin's can hurt, but Rob's never does). I'm waiting patiently for you to discover their catalogue... not that patience is a virtue I have in abundance ;) Want something a bit more fun that also highlights Rob? Rickroll yourself with their cover of 'Never Gonna Give You Up' - you'll LOVE it! Especially Tim's dance moves!
@@pamelalee1508 Oh yeah, Rob was perfect. Tim pulled off moves I haven't seen since high school. Chance and Adam did the doggone thang. But Austin... well, he scared me a bit. Looked like Johnny Bravo with the hair, plus whatever was holding his shirt together *shudders!
For some more like this you should check out 'Blue Ain't Your Color', for some fun check out 'Between A Rock And A Hard Place' and 'Champagne Taste On A Beer Budget'and for a real change of pace, Rob and Austin singing 'Nessun Dorma'!! Amazing!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
The thing with these guys (like Voiceplay and Pentatonix) is, each voice is so dang good that they could individually sing lead in a band of their own, but....they do this instead. And it's glorious!
I say it's just a masterpiece from the greatest a capella group their is, anyway that's how I feel. . Robs sweet voice really took us to church on this one. Austin with his high vocals showing so much feeling in those lyrics. Tim and Chance had their deep bass moments. Adam with his magnificent vocal percussions pulling it all together. Fantastic reaction as always! Want bass? Want vocal percussion? Want a perfect arrangement by a perfect beat boxer? Want glorious harmonies? Want eyegasms? It's not Christmas season, but want a masterpiece? Experience Adam Rupp's "Do You Hear What I Hear?" It's one of their earlier works. Just Wow.
I love Boyz II Men and have played End of the Road so many times. I never thought I'd ever like a cover of this song. But Home Free did it, while maintaining the respect for the original. How wonderfully sung by all! But for me it is mainly Rob who nailed it. What a great voice with so much soul in it. He touches me deep inside. Of course it is the combination of the other leads, fantastic harmony, bone-feeling bassline and the inhuman vocal percussion that makes it complete. The best A-Cappella group for me!! A real Home Fry from the Netherlands!!😊 By the way, it's time for : "Two Country singers try singing Opera-Nessun Dorma".. Rob and Austin and it's on Austin's chanel.😊
Austin at his absolute best has to be his solo version of Bring Him Home from Les Miserables. It's on his TH-cam channel and it gave me a whole new appreciation for his talent.
An absolute killer of a cover by another amazing acapella group! I also want to suggest If I Were A Rich Man/Girl by VoicePlay ft. Ashley Diane. They do an amazing job as always!
I love how visceral your reactions are. You really feel the music and that is so awesome. a capella (Latin), a cappella (Italian)... Honestly I've been guilty of using both. In musical terms the Italian is preferred, but hey if you remember the space after the 'a' and the double l's I'll know what you're aiming for. Predictave text won't even give you a cappella until after you've typed 'a cappel'. I'm more irked when people can't use words like his/ he's correctly. 😊
They could sing the dictionary and make it a platinum hit. Nothing these ridiculously talented guys can't do. I fell in love with them and their music a year ago and the only thing i regret is not having found them long ago. We Fries feel the same way about them every time we listen to them. It's impossible not to fall in love with them. They are the complete package. Looks, talent, skills, heart, personality, and on top of all that, they are just fun, nice, decent guys. Thanks for a great reaction.
This is where the term and the name "gospel Rob" came into play for the first time. He has brought this into other songs but none hit quite as hard as this one. All of them were incredible but Rob definitely stole the show. WOW!!!
Great reaction as usual! They killed it, didn't they? They are all individually incredibly talented. But together they are other worldly gifted. You have done reactions that have showcased most of their voices. You should react to their cover of Cover me up or I can't outrun you, to hear Adam Chance's beautiful honey smooth voice. I feel he gets overlooked sometimes, because he is not the lead in alot of songs. Please check them out. Love all of your Home Free reactions! You react like I reacted when I first discovered them. Thank you for your reaction!
Brilliant reaction. Some other suggestions are brothers in arms, hill billy bone, oh holy night, ring of fire, Folsom prison blues, when a man loves a woman, between a rock and a heartache and for some funny stuff, champagne taste on a beer budget, all about that bass, grandma got run over by a reindeer or never gonna give you up. Have fun going down this rabbit hole. It’s bananas. As a bonus watch Mayday after you have a watch a few of the others if you really wanna confuse yourself. You’ll understand after you watch it

You honestly don't know how much you NEED to hear Rob & Austin singing "Nessun Dorma" (it's on Austin's channel)!! I'm tellin' ya, you'll never look at Rob the same way again! 🤯🤯🤯❤ Second suggestion...also for Rob, mainly, but all of the guys, really! Oops, 2 suggestions (thought of another one that can be described in the same way as I was typing that! Lol): "Joy to the World" (Hosanna Concert LIVE) - OMG!!! Gospel/jazz Rob going off in this song like I guarantee you've never heard it!! Yes, it's a Christmas song, but trust me, it's good enough to enjoy any day!! 🤯❤ "Catch Me If You Can" - a HF original that'll knock your socks off! Totally different and COOL sound to this one! Rob is great in the lead, but the background has some great stuff going on! 👍😉❤ All 3 are different sides/sounds of Rob. Put those together with something like "Bless the Broken Road" and you'll understand why we call him a vocal chameleon and why his bandmates unanimously point quickly to him when asked who the best singer in the group is! Lol
If you want to hear a song that showcases Chance, try “Cover Me Up”. I also like the cover of John Mayer’s “In The Blood”. It really showcases all the their voices.
These guys do an amazing job of this song! They can do any genre including R&B. Rob's voice has so much feeling & soul in it. Austin adding his higher tones, Chance harmonizing in the back, Tim adding some bass & Adam with his fabulous vocal percussion. These guys are my favorite a cappella group out there. All their songs are good whether it is serious, heart warming or funny. Shawn Stockman from Boyz II Men was a judge when Home Free won the "Sing Off" in 2013. He loved the guys from the start.
Due to the algorithms of TH-cam, this came up in my suggested videos sometime ago. My son loved Boyz II Men and listened to this song every night multiple times. It is such a beautiful piece of music and really reminds me of a lot of that old Motown feel so of course I loved it. I was so surprised when I went to go see another one of their videos and it was Yeehaw down home Country, which is really not my thing. But they are so crazy talented that I have listened to a lot of their pieces. I love their sense of humor and the utter joy they get from producing music. I also like that they don’t take themselves too seriously. You really need to check out Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget. Normally this is not something I would listen to, but the video is a riot. (And Avi makes a quick cameo😉). Then for sheer artistry, check out Rob and Austin doing Nessun Dorma. It’ll bring you to tears.
Oh, just you wait. Mayday is going to blow your mind!! I think you are just about ready now that you have their names down. You should check out some originals, Dive Bar Saints, and Catch Me if You Can (another great Rob lead) definitely in that order because of the video tie-in. Also, one that features Chance a bit more, like Some Girls Do or Cover Me Up.
There are 3 short videos from a couple years ago that you'd really like. Bohemian Rhapsody, My Heart Will Go On, and another one that was by Journey. Home Free really shows their talent.
Home Free.... Voiceplay .... Penatonix... cant go wrong with any of them ( Everyone has their favorites, which is ok). Knowing the level of "Geek Out" you had with "Dragonborn Comes", may I humbly suggest "Riegns of Castamere" ( Game of Thrones ) cover by Geoff C. as your next fall off yer chair moment? Luv from California! 😃
Rob's belting and growls just tear you apart with emotion. He is so EPIC. But , don't get me started on Tim's low bass voice just sends my over the cliff, never to return again.
I love how Home Free pays homage to the B2M original, but makes it their own. As far as I'm concerned all of the Home Free guys "emote" through their music/videos better than just about anyone else out there--and in this one Rob showcases his gospel/R&B genius in a way that seems to surprise everyone ❣️❣️❣️
One of my favorite under-reacted Home Free is "Colder Weather", a cover of Zach Brown Band. Rob and Chance sing lead, and its a beautiful country ballad.
If you want more Gospel Rob, find the TH-cam video of HF 2013 at the Hosanna concert singing the Christmas carol “Joy to the World “. Rob is at his soulful best. The arrangement is jazzy/funk. There’s even a fabulous beatbox breakdown! It’s one of my favorites of Rob leads.
This is a favorite song that Rob sings lead. Green Shoe Creative is them to my knowledge. Chance was singing most of the bass line. Truly enjoyed watching your reaction to this song.
Yeah, I have listened so long, I believe there is nothing they cannot do! And Austin always looks adorable! 🥰😍 They could sing the phone book and it would be amazing!!🔥🔥 Glad yo love them too!❤❤ Really love your reactions!!👏👏👏
Just start with any song in our boys’ catalogue, both w/#HomeFree & Tim or Austin alone, & do them ALL! You can’t go wrong! There are some that are very underrated. ALL are SPECTACULAR! Try “Nessun Dorma” with Rob & Austin-it will BLOW your mind!
Love this arrangement they ALL did so good! Great reaction 🎉 P.S. if you want to hear Austin sing with Home Free, react to When A man Loves A Woman…it will BLOW your mind :). I love Home Free😊

Take me Home Country Roads, Catch Me If You Can, and if you really want to hear vocal perfection, Helplessly Hoping. So many more great Home Free songs to react to.
For another wonderful Rob lead, please check out Dreamer, Live at the Ryman feat. Texas Hill. Of the 3 versions this is the best! (It’s also an original.) Home Free never disappoints and you’ve got so many more amazing covers and originals to discover!
If you like this you should hear him sing opera! Check out Two Country Singers try to sing Opera. It’s amazing, especially, Rob, who looks cute in a three piece suit.
Well, another masterpiece!! Yes, Rob is incredible!! Please react to Rob and Austin singing the opera " Nessum Dorma!!

Don’t Stop Believing is the Journey classic. After watching these 3 you’ll know what to watch next! 😊
But , don't get me started on Tim's low bass voice just sends my over the cliff, never to return again.
wow, this is actually first time I've heard this, somehow missed it. great reaction & racing off to watch their channel
I hate you missed HF when they were down under playing at the country music festival. LoL
I loved that. Rob just keeps on going! 🥰👍
You will love One Man Band,Unchained Melody,Between a Rock & a Heartache
I love how Home Free pays homage to the B2M original, but makes it their own.
As far as I'm concerned all of the Home Free guys "emote" through their music/videos better than just about anyone else out there--and in this one Rob showcases his gospel/R&B genius in a way that seems to surprise everyone ❣️❣️❣️
One of my favorite under-reacted Home Free is "Colder Weather", a cover of Zach Brown Band. Rob and Chance sing lead, and its a beautiful country ballad.
Love Homefree! They never disappoint! Great reaction!🤠❤🤠
My favorite from Rob (beside Nessun Dorma!) and all the guys killed it!! Definitely not reacted to NEARLY enough!! 🤯😳👍🎶❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤ Adorable
This is a favorite song that Rob sings lead. Green Shoe Creative is them to my knowledge. Chance was singing most of the bass line. Truly enjoyed watching your reaction to this song.
Versatile and commanding.
Yeah, I have listened so long, I believe there is nothing they cannot do! And Austin always looks adorable! 🥰😍 They could sing the phone book and it would be amazing!!🔥🔥 Glad yo love them too!❤❤ Really love your reactions!!👏👏👏
Great reaction - thank you!
DJ…..tour reactions to this is my fav EVER!!! You made me laugh out loud with what you said about Rob, Austin & Tim. Love you for this. This whole reaction video is EVERYTHING!
You might be ready to watch their Mayday cover now. 😁
Still waiting on your mind to be blown by Tim on their cover of 'Mayday'...LOL
I loved watching you freak out over Rob half way thru and I'm thinking you ain't heard nothing yet
For another fun Rob video watch VoicePlay's top 10 movie theme songs. Chris Rupp, Tim and Rob have all guest starred with VoicePlay.
You should go watch "My Maria" on Austin Brown's channel. Beautiful, and a bit surprising. And then "Nessun Dorma" also on Austin's channel.
Take me Home Country Roads, Catch Me If You Can, and if you really want to hear vocal perfection, Helplessly Hoping. So many more great Home Free songs to react to.
Enjoyed this reaction so much! Thanks!
You should check out Nessun Dorma by Austin and Rob
Have you seen Rob & Austin doing opera? It will blow your mind.
Gospel Rob, baby!!!
For another wonderful Rob lead, please check out Dreamer, Live at the Ryman feat. Texas Hill. Of the 3 versions this is the best! (It’s also an original.)
Home Free never disappoints and you’ve got so many more amazing covers and originals to discover!
This is one of my Home Favorites😊
Austin dad was in a traveling gospel quartet. That where Austin got his high tenor chops!
Always get a kick watching your reaction.
If you like this you should hear him sing opera! Check out Two Country Singers try to sing Opera. It’s amazing, especially, Rob, who looks cute in a three piece suit.
