    IMO, nothing will ever replace the original magic from hearing Boyz 11 Men sing this masterpiece, & I am so happy that Home Free, was able to keep the original integrity of the song, yet still inject a little of their own magic, allowing us, to fall in love with it, all over again 💕 I don't believe any other group, other than Home Free, could have pulled this off 💕

    Adam Rupp is still the beatboxer, and yes he got a hair cut. The lead tenor, thick beard and glasses is Rob Lundquist. The high tenor with the longer hair is Austin Brown, the deep bass is Tim Foust, and the baritone, who does bass when Tim is singing vocals, is Adam Chance, who goes by just Chance to not confuse him with the beatboxer. Great reaction!

    Tim is the amazing deep bass, but the two Adam's in the back, Rupp is the beatboxer and Chance is awesome at carrying the bass guitar thru out the song. Rob is the voice of soul while Austin has the pipes of an Angel. Welcome to the rabbit hole.

  • @GaiaOne
    @GaiaOne 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

    Austin's voice is platinum.
    Rob's voice is butter. (Blue-eyed soul is safe with The Beard.)
    Chance's voice is gold.
    Adam's voice, on those rare occasions when he sings, is a bell.
    And Tim's voice is magma.
    They just dropped Brothers In Arms. It's stunning.

    I subbed the minute I saw you react to Adam Rupp!. Lead singer Rob Lundquist Tenor (beard) Other high voice Long hair tenor Austin. Adam Rupp is back left yes he's had a haircut they call them vocal percussionists or beat boxer. Back right Adam as well but goes by Chance also to keep confusion at bay. Deep voice Tim. These gentlemen are magic. Fell into their rabbit hole after months back and can't get enough of them. Just pure musical talent!!!!! Each one is very diverse. Can explain more if you want to know more.

    Tim Foust (low bass to tenor, black leather jacket and jeans with long hair in this one) is from Texas but lives in Nashville now. Rob Lundquist (tenor, tan jacket, teddy bear) is from Minneapolis. Austin Brown (high tenor, multi colored leather jacket and long hair) is from Georgia but lives in Nashville now. Adam Rupp (Beatboxer and tenor, blue shirt and jeans with short hair...in this one) is from Mankato Minnesota but lives in Minneapolis now. Adam Chance (bass to high baritone, Jacket and jeans with darkish short hair) is from Alabama but lives in LA now. The group was started by Adam Rupp and his brother Chris (He'll weal a cowboy hat in most of the videos he is in but left for a solo career in 2016 I believe) in Mankato Minnesota. They moved to Minneapolis when they began to take off. They entered the Sing Off and won in season 4 and that jump started them even more. I believe they are based out of Nashville now. They are considered a country group but are not tied to country 100%. They tour extensively and a live show is required to appreciate what they can do.
    I'm so glad you enjoyed this!

    Center front- the one that brought much pleasure is Rob Lundquist. Front left we have the deep bass that can take you into the depths if the dragon cave as well to the mountain tops with his awesome 5+ octave range is Tim Foust. Front right is our high tenor that can fly above the mountain with ease is Austin Brown. Back left is our vocal percussionist, the heartbeat of the group that you met before is Adam Rupp. Last on the list, certainly not the least is bass, baritone, liquid chocolate voiced Adam Chance (affectionately known as Chance to avoid confusion between the 2 Adams). I will also mention another member you will see in some videos Chris Rupp. He will often (not always) be wearing a cowboy hat. Chris founded the group along with his brother Adam. Chris left to pursue a solo career path and was replaced by Chance.

    First singer with brown hair, beard and glasses is Rob. Second singer, red-head is Austin and high tenor. Front left side is Tim, super low bass. Back beard dark brown hair is called Chance (name Adam Chance bass/baritone). Tall back left is Adam mostly beatboxes but is also a tenor. Adam is the main beatboxer but all of them beatbox.

  • @wirelessmikedj7784
    @wirelessmikedj7784 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Yes Adam Rupp is in the back left, Tim Foust the bass is front left, Rob Lundquist is front middle, Austin Brown is front right and Adam Chance (called Chance) is back right. They are all amazing, Adam as you know kills it every time with his percussions...Tim is a bass machine with a 5+ octave range, Rob is a tenor who has lead on this, Austin is the high tenor and Chance is bariton/bass who can hold it down himself when Tim takes leads. They all can do beatboxing to various degrees..Adam can even sing tenor when not beatboxing. Adam Rupp and Chris Rupp co-founded the group and Chris left on his own and replaced with Chance. You will see Chris in older videos (usually wearing a cowboy hat). You are going down a deep and wonderful rabbit hole! There is funny, serious, county, r&b, Christmas tunes and patriotic tunes...The do have originals as well as the covers.

    This was really refreshing..this might sound weird and I hope nobody takes it the wrong way. But most white guys can not capture the soul of black music, they may be able to sing but the soul is different..these guys nailed it all the way around. The only other asrtist I heard sing R&B really well was Jon B. back in the day, again y'all I'm a white boy to so no disrespect anywhere. I love that groups like Boys 2 Men are still so inspirational today even in other genres. I was a teen when they came out and I still listen to them at night before I sleep, so 20+ years later..almost 30 to see this is very refreshing. Thanks for the reaction

    Oh Home Free is so good. When they won the NBC show the Sing Off Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men was a judge and he loved them. I think Home Free wanted to do right by him. Rob (glasses) is the lead here. Austin, 2nd lead(redhead). They’re both tenors. Tim (long hair) is the deep bass. Adam (beatboxer) and Chance (short dark beard) is the baritone/bass. They can all sing and they choose who leads depending on the song. They sing country but sing all genres. Try Blue Ain’t Your Color, Die a Happy Man, Helplessly Hoping to hear more great harmonies. Good reaction and I subscribed.

    Rob - Big bearded guy (Lead Tenor)
    Austin - Tall bearded guy (Tenor)
    Chance (Adam Chance) - Short-haired bearded guy (Bass/Baritone)
    Tim - Bass bearded guy (Bass/Baritone)
    Adam - human drum kit
    Chance and Tim usually often switch roles in other songs, just like in "Mayday". It's also the same for Austin and Rob, they also switch on being the Lead Tenor in some songs. In their album "Dive Bar Saints", Rob is mostly the Lead Tenor which really showcased how much Rob has improved ever since they won Sing Off.

    Front row L-R.... Tim Faust (bass) center... Rob Linquist (Lead tenor) Far right...Austin Brown (high tenor) Back row L-R... Adam Rupp (beatboxer, technical term "vocal percussionist") ( AKA freak of nature) Far right... Adam Chance (baritone) (they call him Chance to avoid confusion with Adam Rupp). Adam Rupp and his brother Chris started the group but Chris has moved on to a solo career and in older videos you will see him instead of Chance. Chris picked Chance to replace him when he left. Although they can all do a few sounds 95% of the instruments you think you hear are being done by Adam's vocal chords. There's almost no sound he can't make, hence his nickname "freak of nature" He's a world class beatboxer. Home Free has millions and millions of fans. We call ourselves "Home Fries". The rabbit hole is deep with over 150+ songs. Enjoy your journey.

    Typical response when reactors introduced to Home Free first time is, "Why haven't I heard of these guys before,", especially once they find out they have 100 million plus Internet listeners.
    Do not know why they late to game, but IMO we get stuck in one genre instead of looking at music as a universal way all peoples get to express themselves.
    Reactors get their music horizons expanded not so muchmby personal searching but by a wide ranging request fr all peoples.and cultures.
    Bud was at Irish pub couple years back, mostly old farms who only liked Scotch Irish artist that is until Aberdeen played Chris Stapeltons Tennessee Whisky and the Irish like old ballads barbershop quartets and then came Home Free How Great thou art.
    BUD ONLY THERE THREE WEEKS BUT Home freenhad crossed generations and prejudices to be on radio and internet and TV.
    We all need to keep ears and eyes open to rest of world.
    Just think what we listener/watchers would of missed if not through reactors on internet.

    Tim is not a tenor, he's a bass, bass profundo actually. Adam Chance is a Baritone, Rob Lindquist is a tenor, Austin Brown is a high tenor, and Adam Rupp is the beat boxer.

    If you like people who don't look like their voice, check out St. Paul and the Broken Bones singing "I'm Torn Up" from Austin City Limits. You won't believe your eyes and ears!!
