So Daisy has passed away.... Rest in Paradise Daisy ❤ She was dumped in Florida Everglades. I am so happy she was finally saved and had a good and happy life for the past 8 years of her life. Million thanks Eldad for you have saved so many lives! ❤❤❤
The look on Dolittle’s face when he was getting his head rubbed said it all. He was just a scared little pup who couldn’t see. I’m so glad Eldad was patient and got him to trust him. Thank goodness his eyes were fixed. He seemed so much more confident!

Owner unwilling (or didn't know how) to do behavior work, and unable to afford vet care. Ignorant about the no-kill movement and where to go for help. So dumping the dog looked like the easy answer.

I dont understand these people... I "rescued" my Max when he was 3 months old because he was cute and a toy. 15 years later he still is my best friend and I could not imagine giving him away, I never did. I wonder what has to be wrong with you to toss a dog you had for a while away like garbage.. and the worse thing is: people like this have children.

Carson Lee I don’t think that is the only reason dogs are left homeless!! There are other circumstances, like if a dog was born on the streets or if it ran away and never found its home again... like I agree that humans shouldn’t treat animals the way SOME of us humans do, but it’s not all of us. It’s not always our fault! Just think of the different ways.
In one of life's little ironies, I just saw Molly's video where the TSA agent made her cry, because the agent kept giving her cues like "hold this", "move over here" and not letting Molly talk and explain... she's blind.
You can tell by the behavior, but when you are rescuing the dog you typically don't look for signs like this. The main goal is obviously to secure the dog as quick and stress-free as possible.
I could tell that he was blind within seconds of the video starting. He has a very bad glare to his eyes, and an injured dog that could still see most likely would have gotten more aggressive much faster. One big example of this is the rescue of the pit bull who had her leg broken in 3 places but still got up and actually lunged at Eldad when he approached. But, I understand how the different factors (the sun, the highway close by) had influenced Eldad's judgement.
Now this made me cry, he was so scared, then the way he closed his eyes when Eldad was stroking him on his head, you could see the relief in his face. The dear little man. Breaks my heart these videos, but I know the doggos end up happy, loved and safe in the new forever homes. Just makes me cuddle and smooch my boy even more.
I rescued a deaf and blind little guy just like this one he is now a cuddle bunny k owns his way around the house and can find me if I leave the room he finds me I have 2 other dogs and they take ❤ him he walks into and over him. To bad humans can't be that accepting.
I was not expecting this dog to get his vision restored. I'm so happy the eye surgery went well and now he can see! And I hope he found a loving forever home as well

I'm guessing cataracts. We had a white poodle develop diabetes, then cataracts at about 6 years old. Had the 2 surgeries, one one each eye, to remove them. He lived a full life with us. We had named him Kramer after wacky Kramer on Seinfeld.
I have 2 blind rescues, and as soon as I saw his reactions, I thought “That dog is blind.” What I DIDN’T EXPECT, was the great ending with him regaining his sight!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Sobbed so hard thinking about how frightened he must be at not seeing anything around him! It’s one thing to be a blind dog in a loving home but outside with no one to help you... poor Dolittle. Thank you, Eldad, for rescuing him and repairing his eyes.

I'm really sorry that I can't contribute right now, I'm barely keeping my dog & myself fed but when things get better I'll be sure to make up for it. He’s actually not a poodle, but a pretty decent example of a Bichon Frise. I used to show them. For one to offer to bite shows how very upset and stressed he was. Thanks for rescuing him!

Sobbed so hard thinking about how frightened he must be at not seeing anything around him! It’s one thing to be a blind dog in a loving home but outside with no one to help you... poor Dolittle.

What a sweetie. He would make a wonderful addition to a family with children I think. He seems to have boundless energy and an adorable personality. Getting his forever home will not be a problem. I envy whoever gets him. Love the name Dolittle as well.

I'm really sorry that I can't contribute right now, I'm barely keeping my dog & myself fed but when things get better I'll be sure to make up for it. You kind, sensitive and caring people are the best! It kills me what little regard some people have for animals. I keep you folks in my prayers nightly, The Lord has a special place for you & you're always in my heart. 💕👍 Sorry but I have to go now, your videos always make me cry, it's disgusting how some people treat animals, thank God you're there to help some of these poor creatures out and restore their trust in human beings.
