TH-cam premium is basically what TH-cam should be, annoying people with spam ads and disabling screen lock play is just a sad marketing strategy to sell your actual product. There's really nothing "premium" that you're paying for. You're just paying to not be annoyed.

What is even worse is that creators make even lesser. Allowing me to watch videos/ listen to songs while I turn off my screen isn't costing them anything extra. I almost feel nostalgic seeing the microphones back in-frame. There's something about the visual of how close a sound source is close to the microphone that adds to the auditory and anticipatory experiences.
The color test actually worked quite well! I couldn't tell the difference between purple and orange with my eyes closed but getting everything else correct felt like such an accomplishment!

I’ve had TH-cam premium for a while, and a large part of it is being able to play ASMR in the background. In bed, playing on my phone, or even just at work. It’s gotten to the point that I have to remind myself to actually *watch* ASMR for the visual triggers instead of always just listening to it

Gibi really changed the game, I mean the doors she (and many other asmrtists too of course) have opened when it comes to asmr being pushed into the mainstream and asmrtists being treated as equals to other youtubers is really amazing, i mean she didnt end world hunger or anything but i think it's good to acknowledge that she really is one of the leaders of the asmr community and is still very humble and sweet (even if we dont really know her personally and all that)

I’ve had TH-cam premium for a while, and a large part of it is being able to play ASMR in the background. In bed, playing on my phone, or even just at work. It’s gotten to the point that I have to remind myself to actually *watch* ASMR for the visual triggers instead of always just listening to it

Another TH-camr that I recommend that does this trigger is Samuel Asmr. He has some of the best eyes closed videos imo. Also I love watching Luna bloom too. :)

Wasn’t adding videos to queue already a feature, that was just recently locked to premium. Feel like I remember making a whole queue for homework sessions.

I’ve had TH-cam premium for years it’s honestly the best for listening to stuff casually. I also use it for music all the time because then I can put music videos and little silly TH-cam songs in my playlists too!
