But more importantly... I hope you leave me some comments to read because I really am dying to know what everyone else "saw"! It also reminds me of this viral image/tweet I've seen many times about how different people conceptualize and "see" different level of detail in their head. As someone with aphantasia (no mental imagery/ability to visualize) this was interesting. I didn’t realize people could actually ‘picture’ things until last year-thought it was a metaphor. Interesting that people see images with different levels of detail!

Same. I went through all of my younger childhood thinking my teachers were metaphorically asking the class to visualise the sea. I was so confused. Now I can sit and be smug about not having to do work lol.
I can see pictures in my head but I dont have a very good imagination so like if someone says a dog I think of my dogs and if someone says a house I think of my house so my imagination isn’t very wild but this has helped me go to sleep and try to get a better imagination

Gosh, Gibi actually i don't like giving this kind of a compliment because it's so superficial, but you are so beautiful. It's not just your look, it's kind of connected to your being: I feel so safe and comfortable while watching your videos. This is crazy, because i actually don't feel such things a lot of the time because of course it's not like i know anyone from online personally. But I just wanted to say thanks for being there for so many of us, even though we never talk to each other or / and it's kind of a "one side" connection, because you don't really get to know a lot of your subscribers. 11. i'm in a house with my future wife/girlfriend and the room has white walls, a bunch of pictures/paintings in gold frames, heavy antique furniture, and string lights twinkling everywhere. the bed is a queen size with a huge white comforter and all white sheets. it's really early in the morning so the sun is streaming in the windows and the room is freezing but in a comfortable way.
12. when i get sucked down through the bed i end up in a lake somehow? like i'm underwater, floating and suspended just below the surface, and when i come up for air i'm in a fjord with beautiful mountains in the background.
13. a beach with a ton of cliffs and big rocks in the back. it's very peaceful and sunny and there's a ton of tide pools that i can explore.
14. i'm going to a marine science conference to present my research. i'm wearing all black from head to toe: black turtleneck, black pants, black blazer, doc martens, and a long silver necklace.

after watching Gibi for a while now I think I've finally found out what my favorite type of ASMR is. I really enjoy the close up slow whispering (Same as this video). but i also really like the filler/background/white noise that comes with roleplay videos. Like the very subtle noise you get when moving with a jacket on, or the noise you get when using a tool, not tapping the tool but actually using the tool. The "Let Me Fix Your Malfunctions" video that Gibi did a month ago was an incredibly tingle filled video for me. The Fixing Your Sleep Malfunction was the same, with the jacket noise and tool noises. it was just heaven. I do now realize that I just really liked the fixing malfunctions videos, but i hope you do more of those type of videos. Either way, this was a nice video and got me ready for bed, even tho its mid day!

I loved this I recently had a discussion with a friend about how they go about building a scene in their mind when reading stories/books because I had never spoken to anyone about this before and this video kinda goes in the same lane so I'm really glad you let us know how you imagined it because sometimes it's staggering how different other people's minds work! 💖

My favorites are always your roleplays, because my geeky self really enjoys them, but this is the one I always come back to when my brain is being too loud for me to sleep. I have that thing where you can’t see things in your mind properly, so these exercises are always both a fun challenge and infuriating for me. Answers below!
My circle was 2D with a black outline. It was away from me, in front of a yellow wall, but not drawn directly on it.
My house was interesting. I could see it from a distance from above, with no roof, exactly like the Sims 4 build mode lmao. It was two storeys, with light blue walls and a warm interior with lots of bright furniture.
My clever person was a really crude outline of a cartoon person, hardly visible. They were a nerdy caricature, big glasses and a straight face, but not unkind. They also wore a simple dress shirt.
My dessert was fun as a baker; it was the clearest image of all. It was a chocolate fondant, with a spun caramel bowl holding a pistachio macaron and some icecream of some kind. It was plated on a black plate, sitting on a red tablecloth, with silverware around it.
My marker was fluctuating between navy blue and dark green.
My animal at the store was also a lizard! A big one.
My plane landed in Thailand (I’ve travelled there a lot, so it’s familiar).
Halloween isn’t really done here, so I could just see my daughter and her friends in their book week costumes (fairies and princesses).
The channel was playing a nature documentary.
My drink was a cold energy drink (I misplaced one today, clearly I’m still seething lol).
My bedroom was filled with sunlight, and very maximalist with lots of bright art and photos and LOTS of plants. There was a long desk for crafting under a huge window. The bed was tall and plush, with lots of blankets.
When I went through the bed, I was just floating backwards, downwards, into a deep blue abyss. Not unlike the Kingdom Hearts cinematic opening lmao.
My nature spot was sitting on spongy grass and moss by a creek, with dappled sunlight and critters darting around in the water. It was warm and smelled damp.
My outfit was platform shoes and an emerald green silky dress. Do they go together? Probably not. Was I wearing it anyway, and looking good? Yes.
My pyjamas were grey, soft but not fluffy. The pants were long, and the shirt had short sleeves and some kind of graphic on it.
This was super interesting!!!! Thank you!

i really like how i get sometimes tingles- most asmr is like overwhelming tingles but gibis whispering is relaxing where it makes me sleepy but not like tingley which is good
i discovered that all of my answers are related to something that has been relevant to me recently. a hobby i started or a book i read or a person i met, i relate it all back to something personal
🌙Here's my initial answers for each one:
-Circle: Flat, colored in, medium space, right in front of me, exactly the same as gibi's
-House: Like a kid's drawing, in the middle of nowhere, 2 story, yellow, front door, windows, no chimney, no shudders, view is from outside the house, I don't think I've seen it before
- Clever Person: Um my first thought was Swiper from Dora the Explorer for some reason lol, funny how we both went to foxes
-Decadent Dessert: It was a realistic regular cheesecake with a ganache stacked with a bunch of fruit, one tier
-My marker was red too!
-It was a grey tabby cat
-For some reason my plane landed in the Bahamas too even though I don't like the beach 😅
-I thought of a girl wearing a princess costume and a boy wearing a vampire costume, very little kids
-My mind went to animal planet and it was just like a nature documentary
-Ew the first thing I thought of was milk noooo
-New Bedroom: Daytime, very woodsy, whimsical, bright, airy, lots of plants, very cottagecore, lots of evergreen, wood floor, lots of nature paintings, bookshelves
-For the next one I just pictured falling through my bedroom floor into my garage since my room is above the garage in the my house, I know so boring 😭and then I breathed and I was in a forest and it was dark
-For dressing up I thought of a burgundy, knee length, off-the-shoulder dress, big skirt, velvety looking
-Pjs are just a huge t-shirt and cozy sweatpants

Since I can’t really take part in a video like this due to my aphantasia it’s been really interesting reading in the comments about what other people visualise and I’m just amazed at how most people can actually see images in their mind!
1. Circle: Parallel, flat, blue circle, no outline, in a liminal space
2. House: A 2-storey drawing of a suburban house, with a chimney, looking at it from the front, with a front door and 2 upstairs windows (none downstairs weirdly)
3. Clever Person: Stephen Hawking, circa 2010, only pictured the face, more like a photo of them rather than them being in front of me
(A side note, I pictured a pineapple in my mind when talking/drinking the La Croix, don't know why)
4. Decadent Dessert: Red Velvet cake, 3 layers, with a slice taken out of it to see the layers, lots of frosting, very red, could feel how sickly it was just imagining it.
5. Marker: Orange
6. Pet Store: Bunny (based off memory)
7. Vacation: Malaga, Spain (don't even want to go there, first place I thought of)
8. Halloween Costume: Classic bedsheet ghost
9. TV channel: I pictured Tornadoes, so I'm gonna say disaster movie
10. Fridge drink: Milk (not what I would go for normally)
11a. Bedroom: Daytime, soft mattress, fluffy blanket. Bed is in the corner, it's a single bed, the walls are a light blue, or a light green, carpeted floor with a rug on, wooden units. A closet.
11b. Falling through bed: Honestly, my first thought was under the bed. Very literal.
11c. Nature: Wood cabin, dense forest in the daytime.
12a. Dressed up: A shirt, top button undone, white, or salmon, black suit trousers, thin belt, fancy black shoes.
12b. Pajamas: Stitch onesie (wouldn't wear that to bed, but it's what came to mind)

The video is so good i managed to watch it 3 times and I do not remember doing anything, i just straightup fell asleep.
I think this video is really telling on how good gibi is for me. I have a mental dysfunction called aphantasia meaning i cant see images in my head at all but i still loved this video!
I hope practicing with the lyre means more Trojan War videos or maybe a Mount Olympus one? You'd make a great Athena! Love the video!
