O'rileys auto are going international now. Your reputation is well known🤙 Love the videos as always, rain or shine you get the job done that others are clueless on. And help us understand in the process. Keep up the good work. 👍
I bought a Transit custom new in 2013, the thing constantly kept doing a regen and putting diesel in the sump, raising the level above full, it went to the dealers loads of times in the first 30k miles. Every time the dealers chaged the oil they put it on the Max line, as a test, I removed oil via the dip stick hole with a small pump, down to the 3/4 line and it stopped constantly doing the regeneration, after a few more miles the level dropped slightly lower as diesel evaporated from the sump, still got the same van 10years later, 150k miles on the clock now, no issues since then, simply don't fill the oil level to maximum!
Great job Jimmy they come from far and wide to someone who actually knows what they’re doin. Strange the way scanners make you go round the houses at times to reset things. I’ve spent far too much of my life clicking on service reset options to find it hidden in submenus, why not just make it a standard across the board
Cracking video as always jimmy. You won’t believe this one I promise. A guy from Ireland posted his Range Rover dpf to my works near Gatwick to be cleaned this week 🙄🤦♂️. Unbelievable
Thanks for all the videos you do I very much appreciate your work, I'm waiting for an Astra cdti to show up so I can follow along on how to clean it. I did notice a video you did not long back back it had its DPF removed so you never cleaned it, just changed the oil. Anyway Thanks for all you do with very well stated explanation.
Hello sir thank you for share and teaching us your knowledge!! I have seen almost all your videos and I have learn too much about the correct way of diagnosing and cleaning the dpf! I also buy the same tools and cleaning fluids from launch thanks to you! The spec for this dpf gun says if I remember correct air pressure to connect 3.5 - 4.5 bars (65 psi). Do you try to this pressure 65 psi but you see better results at 130 psi and for this reason you continue to use it at 130 psi?? I don't know which pressure I use! Best regards!!
Thanks for sharing the walk through videos James your da man. Quick question please. what is the coned barrbed addapter on the end of the dpf spray pipe called can not for shite find them 👍👍👍
thank you Maestro for this new video. question. you can wash the dpf with the product you use even if it is not full clogged just for maintenance. let's say every 25,000 km? Thank you
Saw one of your short vids about people not paying, can you not stipulate that a credit card needs to be taken with a mobile reader before any work is started? Can’t believe some people expecting you to work for free
Q: Where did you get that metal tapered hose reducer you use to connect to the pipes? also what was it called? Do you have Amazon or Ebay link to it brother ? Thank you.
As a swede i dont understand. Are garages on the continent really so incompetent? What Jimmy does here should be included in the basic knowledge for a mechanic. ESPECIALLY an authorized garage.
Says something when you have guys coming from a foreign country to get their cars fixed. Keep them coming Jimmy.
So True!!!! We dont have a legend💯 like jimmy back in europe
Thanks Jimmy for working on my car iam verry satisfied it runs like a new one again wish i knew you earlier for future repairs will visit you for sure and recommend you for sure!
You came all the way from Belgium to get the car fixed?

Hi Jimmy I use Kraken tape for repairing boost hoses etc its excellent well worth keeping in your van 👍

Self amalgamating tape is amazing for repairs like this.
Nights in the Rain and Cold and going International... You must be doing something Right

Fantastic for you Jimmy when you have Foreign customers coming from overseas, there's no better endorsement!
Hey nice videos Jimmy. Do you have one showing how to remove the DPF if it needs to be replaced? Cheers, Ben.
American ribbon I follow you from Italy🇮🇹
@5:01 That's called Duct Tape Jimmy. 😉
Brain fog moment
@@ORileysAutos Sorry, was being cheeky! 😁
How did no one hear the boost pissing out that hole 😂
Sounds like a bag of bolts too 😬
I’ve just had the same thing happen to mine… honestly can’t hear it inside the car.
Also if you delete the dpf very soon it won’t pass the new mot regs coming out!
1:00 rattle not from timing chain but balance shaft worn - known issue on that 2.2 diesel engines 4n14 mr. Mechanic 🙂

Yes you can!
Just had the same pipe split in my outlander… would any superglue + gaffa/duct tape work for a temp patch until the new pipe arrives & can be fitted?

Not that it's likely to happen to Jimmy, but what would happen if the DPF cleaning fluid was squirted down the wrong tube??
It would enter the exhaust after the DPF and not clean it
@@ORileysAutos thanks Jimmy

How do garages possibly miss these faults!?? Those outlanders always have the same boost pipe split, can't be the first one they've ever seen
great job jimmy in shitty conditionsb but it got dortd in the end
