Great piece of history! My dad has an 88 slowrunner 22ret but the turbo was stolen many many years ago. Barely hit 200k miles on it not to long ago. I cant wait until one day he passes it on to me, I need to set off money to the side so I can restore it as how it used to be.
@@pg9112471 yes, I vaguely remember the 90’s truck carried over the same sun roof, but I wasn’t sure and didn’t want to give you false info. I’m so glad u found a replacement and nice to know, they are the same upto 2002.

crazy how back in 2018 4runner's where going for 3k-5k now they are going for 3x of that due to the pandemic and everyone wanting to go outdoors.

I have one like this with a light green interior. The sunroof just flew off one day and I can't find a replacement.
The sun roof panel is the same for the 4runners and the Toyota truck or the same generation. I replaced my from a truck and fit perfect.
@@JP-gw9ts thanks, I found out that oem truck sunroofs fit from 1986 - 2002. I found a 1999 on ebay and it fit perfectly. 😀
