These trucks are so capable in stock form it is crazy.
They really are amazing just out of the factory. Can't wait to see what it can do once I through a few mods at it
That Drone footage is stunning, Could be a Colorado commercial.
Thank you!
Views are absolutely amazing. Truck is capable AF. Video worth the time 1000 times out of
Thank you! It's even better in person
Love it! ZR2 is pretty sweet right out of the box!
It really is!
Man! Thats so cool… i ordered a 2024 ZR2. Can’t wait to get it. Love the vids🤘
Yeah it's an awesome truck, you will love it.
Those views are wild! Nice Chevy commercial!
Thank you! Chevy did actually repost the shot on their Instagram!
Truck is a beast!
Yes it is!
Dammm good top of the world vid.
Thanks guys. Love the team work.
👍👏
Thanks for watching!
Great video. You need to sell footage to GM for use in commercial. 😊😊
Thank you! , maybe one day.
These last few Moab videos have done it for me. I was on the fence about ordering in a new ZR2 or looking into the 4th Gen Tacoma to upgrade from my Current TRD Offroad 3rd Gen. But seeing the price difference and the stock capability from this is incredible.
The ZR2 is leagues ahead as far as capability over the 4th Gen Tacoma. Both are good trucks but I don't think you will regret at all the purchase of a ZR2. I came from a Ford Ranger and haven't looked back since, love this truck
After watching this I don't know what can stop the ZR2. Great video!
Thank you! It's an awesome truck.
So badass.
Thanks 🤟
Love the channel! Fell in love with the truck. Picking up my new 2024 Bison this week. I am stoked to get at it.
Thank you. Lucky you on the Bison, you are going to enjoy it!
This is some of the best drone footage I’ve ever seen. Should be part of a @chevrolet commercial imo
Thank you!
I've got 500mi on mine from picking it up last week...aaaand got a check engine light on. The dealer looked at it real quick, says it was a "history" (not current) code from the knock sensor. He reset it and it went away.....for about an hour. So, now I have to take it in. Love the truck so far, not happy about this though, especially as he said they're about 2 weeks out with warranty work...
That's unfortunate. I have 2,000 miles so far and 0 issues. Hopefully everything works out with your truck and have no further issues.
@@outlandishoverland Thanks, I'll let you know how it pans out. Keep on Truckin'!
Very nice!! I cant wait to roll my new truck all over that place in May.
It's a fun time for sure!
This is the reason i bought my 24 bison. Im so excited to go to moab if not this year, next year.
The Bison is going to be a great truck. Moab is a blast!
I love how capable these truck are. Awesome thanks for sharing!
Maybe a little less air, I don’t see much bulge in the sidewalls. I’m curious why you keep turning the lockers off on a trail of this level.
I was aired down to 20 PSI already. I don't like going to much lower on this type of terrian with the risk of debeading a tire. The 20PSI provided plenty of grip on the rocks. I turn them off because lockers cause a lot of drivetrain strain and binding when turning. You should only have them on when you need them and then turn them off immediately after.
Nice run at them rocks, and I can't wait till I get out somewhere to do that with mine. Just waiting for some free time and my lift kit to get here. 👍
Thanks! You can get plenty of places without the lift.
@@outlandishoverland for sure it can. I am away at work most of the time and when I'm home we still have lots of snow which the ZR2 gets around no problem. Another month I will be out and running some trails. How much did you air your tires down for the run?
Gotcha and I aired down to 20 PSI. I usually don't like going to much more due to the terrain of this trail risking debeading the tire.
This is the next rig we are going to get
Well worth it!
Great vid. What tire pressure you running?
Thank you, I was running 20 PSI.
Man in need to take mine out, I have a 2.25” lift on it, need to get 35’s on it
Don't need mods to go out and hit those trails. 🤟 I'll be on 35s soon enough, just have a bunch of other stuff coming first.
Love watching you two videos.. she doing better spotting..i think shes still a little unsure but love how you two work it out... Amd if don't mind going shate on the ZR2 23-24 group.. please tag yourself if you in there
Thank you. Yeah she is getting better and better with time. She is still a bit nervous since it is a brand new truck and doesn't want to damage it. I don't understand your second statement with the ZR2 group comment.
@@outlandishoverland I just posted your. Video to the group and I hope you didn't mind
Oh no worries appreciate the support!
@outlandishoverland Are you using Terrain Mode’s one pedal driving on these obstacles when both front and rear lockers are engaged to avoid the infamous “Dropped from 4WD Mode” situation? The self preservation mode of the truck that both Car and driver and Driving Sports TV found. Thanks!
Actually called 4WD Off.
I tried using the terrain modes but I hate the one pedal driving. I'm not used to it and it throws me off when I'm offroading. I used Terrain mode a few times but ended up just using normal mode with the lockers and didn't have an issue with 4WD turning off.
Ok. Thanks for the Heart emoji 😃 but are you using the Terrain mode? It’s a real question. I am interested in the platform ZR2 or the Bison or AT4X but I am a little worried about the “4WD Off” possibility. So, I want to know if you are using Terrain Mode which avoids the chance of the transfer case disengaging 4WD but limits the torque to 50% of max torque or you are doing something else on these obstacles you show from Moab.
To clarify. Are you in One Pedal mode on these obstacles when in 4L or not? Thanks.
@@is6566 I responded with a comment to your response...
esas montañas debia subirlas de lado no de frente frente 11:53
For it being stock I'm impressed but is it normal that it's creaking so much?
It's quite the impressive truck. The creaking is from the leaf springs. I think it may have been caused when I sprayed Fluid Film rust protection all over the underbody. I think some may have found it's way in between the bushings of the leaf springs and caused dirt to collect and cause the squeaking.
@@outlandishoverlandthanks for the info 😊! Man your on top of the world drone shots are worthy of chevy giving you royalties and using them for their next commercials ❤.
@@Skraals Thanks for the kind words!
Seems like theres easier lines to take. Did you make it harder for yourself on purpose?
Yes I like the challenge to see what the ZR2 can accomplish.
@@outlandishoverland Awesome. Keep the videos rolling.
Your spotter is too cautious...
I rather have a spotter that is too cautious than under cautious.
How much help have the underbody cameras been for you on this type of trail?
@@mattcgtx4809 I used them a bunch I just often don't show it. Only thing with cameras in general it doesn't show you the true size of the rocks you are climbing over. They help but having a spotter is always a better option.
