Hi Luca and Sara. You should look now for space for a baby stroller, car seat and baby necessities like diapers, bottles, baby food and not for motorcycle space anymore. A baby take a lot of space that they much need it. And that coming with that responsibility. Blessings and best of luck.
Sara is right about them all looking the same inside! Looks like a fun event and “Because size matters” made me laugh so much! Thank you for taking us along!
We have had large and small motor homes, large and small travel trailers, even pop up tent trailers over our lifetime. Each one had its limitations. From personal experience I would wait to buy until you have several (with baby) months under your belt. Do some day trips and an overnight trip close to home in Luigi. This will give you a good idea of what you need to have in a vehicle. Children’s needs change with the ages and are way different than adults. I know you two will figure it out, but a buying mistake is costly and not a lot of fun. What comes to mind is car seats, strollers and laundry. Great video as always.
I will miss waking up every morning to a new LEAW video! It's a lot of work to produce a video a day and I have really enjoyed each one, thank you! What a fun time for you guys, anticipating the arrival of your baby, exploring options for your next adventure vehicle, and wondering what your adventures will be like with a little one on board--I'll say, just be flexible. Like Lucky LEAW, babies/kids can be unpredictable! You guys are ready for that thanks to Lucky LEAW 😄Love you guys! 😊❤❤🚐
Watching Lucas face every time you eat his eyes light up when he’s eating his favorite food it is so wonderful to see the two of you enjoy even the smallest things Thank you for reminding me to always stop and smell the roses
Bello Sara and Luca 🤗😘😊❤ loved all the vehicles, but you need to take your time! You will pick the right one that fits your needs! Thank you for sharing with us! Much love beautiful people! ❤🙏
Great idea to try some vehicles out before deciding. With narrow roads to travel, there is a lot to consider regarding size. Have fun trying them out when you are ready. Fun video. :)
Whatever vehicle you decide on storage is very important. You’re going to surprised how much “stuff” a little baby/toddler needs and safety items for when they become mobile ❤️
Thanks for a week of great videos! I love and appreciate it so much. I am so happy for your marriage and can't wait to meet your baby girl. How crazy is it that Trent and Allie named their boy Leo!?! Would really love to see a video with all of you. #trentandallie
Hi Sara, and Luca. It was very interesting watching your experiences at the RV show in Parma. Reminded me of our times at the Tampa show before buying the class B. We also explored the many, many options and yes the Mercedes were very attractive. However once we researched and compared costs and reliability the Fiat/Ducato came out in front. In the U.S. it is sold as the Dodge Ram Promaster. The V-6 gas engine has been amazing and we don’t worry about Diesel engine idling issues. We also saved around 50k with our choice and maintenance costs are also much more reasonable. Having said that the choices are amazing and the interior designers have really been listening to the community. How exciting to plan for future adventures with your daughter. Hope you have a wonderful holiday and new year. ❤️☮️
Crazy as it may sound...seeing Lucky Lew was like seeing an old friend. It brought back so many memories. So many of us were praying for you guys to be able to get safe passage from Argentina back to Italy. It's like we all bonded and became a "family." I've enjoyed reading so many of the comments. I thank God and all of you for helping us get past those crazy lockdowns. Merry Christmas everyone✨🥂🌲
You are being very smart about making your decisions after meeting your baby girl!! There many things a first time parent will learn as they go! Loving this series! Lavita bella!
Hello! What a great RV show. I would’ve spent a lot of money on that food, too! Those HUGE olives would’ve come home with me, for sure! So fun seeing the beautiful interiors of the new RVs too. Very smart to wait and research your next travel vehicle. You’ll know when you see it! Thanks again for another great visit with you two(3).❤️
Fun show. Yes, you have months to figure it out. Plus baby girl may change it all up. Life is funny that way. Continued happy safe, beautiful travels. ✨✨✨✨✨
This is not to the vehicle, but to the live Christmas tree. I have always had a live tree, what I had learned over the years is to keep it alive, I had to keep it outside, next to the sliding glass door and decorated it with lights so we could see it. That way it stays alive. The heat is not good for the tree.Have a happy holiday guys!
Luca and Sara, of all the beautiful "rides" you saw today at the show, NOTHING will compare to the exciting and thrilling "ride of a lifetime" that your new baby girl is going to take you both on! It was obvious that this vlog was filmed in September because Luca was looking for storage for motorcycles and bikes, not car seats, strollers, breast pumps, baskets, etc. for baby...but that's how it goes, little by little, you become PARENTS FIRST! Merry Christmas to your growing family...can't wait to see all the great adventures 2022 brings for you!
I absolutely love your daily vlogs. You guys are great! Thank you for all of your hard work and beautiful vlogs. Sarita and Luca sending you positive vibes and prayers. ❤💗❤
Such exciting future for you 3. Will certainly miss the daily vlogs, but you’re both very busy to be posting every day. I look forward to seeing your next one and the ones to follow. All the best!!
How about a four wheel drive flat bed truck that you build a camper onto? It's rectangular, you can do your own layout, and you can buy flat beds in several different lengths. You could do simple to begin with and upgrade as you go. Baby girl is coming soon! She's going to be the most beautiful baby in the world.😊
I'm still amazed how far you travelled in the America's with the truck and camper for the age of the vehicle. A lifetime of memories I'm sure. Thanks again for sharing.
Thankyou for taking me with you to the exhibition hubby was watching with me we also love travelling in our van and watching the reno of Luigi we are hooked😍😍Loved the tour and so grateful to be on your journey new baby new van rest up my loves Ive so enjoyed spending time with your daily vlogs wish you both and the baby much love and blessings La vita e bella Hubby loves you😘😘😍😍❤️❤️👌👌
I travelled in medium RVs so that is what I can talk about. One thing I do see about this RVs is that the dinning seats have seat belts which is wonderful for the baby. Another thing is look for one that has two beds or that at least you can convert a second bed because when the baby is a little older you will need it. Also take into consideration the shower because for cold days that is going to be a must. Se cuidan chicos. Adiós 😘😘😘😘
I think buying a pre fabricated copy of Luigi is not a fun idea. Your inventiveness and creativity needs an outlet. Luca, Sara, and the baby girls , have fun , I am looking forward to your travels and you ability to make life beautiful. Love you all❤️❤️❤️
We agree that the choices are overwhelming. In 2020, we decided to order a Ford Transit cargo van AWD and convert it to our own needs and layout. It was a lot of work but gratifying in the end. By watching a lot of van life you tubes and your own adventures and experience, you can build something for a lot less and with your own layout and style. Good luck in whatever you decide.
OMG the Fierra di Campo 🎉 that is amazing 🎉. All of the vehicles could be yours. I know you will find the right one. But the event looked amazing I love the food 🤗. TY Sara and Luca 🇮🇹🎉
Sara you look like one of the pretty gals that welcome you in and show you the vehicle! Big isn't always better....limits where you can go but Lucky Lew wasn't small! Hope to see you in one and meet you guys in the US or maybe I'll meet you guys on a motorcycle tour of Italy! 😎
While the new vehicles look great, I'm sure Luca/Sara can build a fantastic one at a fraction of the cost, and save the rest on the baby expenses! Best of luck, should be a awesome ride. Stay healthy.
Totally! But I remember when they were doing Luigi that they mentioned there are a lot of legal restrictions as to what alterations you can make to a vehicle and for what they need it would have to be professionally built to be certified in Italy. From what I remember the best idea would to be to build one in Germany, where the rules are more relaxed. So I guess they will need to weigh up the costs and whatever they find the new baby needs.
We love our 2021 Winnebago Travato 21 foot Class B camper van that we purchased one year ago. The solar and lithium battery package wasn’t cheap but we enjoy the flexibility and freedom of not having a generator.
My mouth was watering watching you eat the prosciutto!! We have this a couple of times a year, Christmas, New Years Eve and the Christenings, graduations, just special occasions. I'm sure the imported we get here in NY is probably no where near as good as what you have. Good Luck on your search for the perfect camper. Just keep in mind babies and their stuff takes up lots of room. You would be amazed at how much is needed, diapers, wipes, changes of clothing for spit ups, leaks, etc. Traveling becomes an adventure.
The most important thing is, to get a vehicle with a real full bathroom inside. Full refrigerator is a big plus. Toilet and Shower is the most essential part of your traveling SUV. 🙂
Congratulations to you both.we feel like we know you,and agree it is the right thing that you made your baby a priority for her security. Love you guys can't hardly wait to see you with her.
Bürstner Lyseo TD 644 G Harmony Line , this is what you need. the bed is above the diningarea and comes down electricaly. where you eat, you have the views outside on all sides. also, you can lock the cabin , because it is seperated from the drivingarea. aaaand best, there is a small bed right next to the big bed, when the big bed comes down. it also has a little garage under the babybed. 👍👍👍 it is awesome.
You will pick the best vehicle for your family. When we were young with our children we only tent camped. Now that we are retired we travel with a truck and 5th wheel. If you ever want to see Maine and New England we would be glad to show you. Stay safe.
Oh those new vehicles were so alike it would be hard to recommend one for you,I think you know best what it'll be! But take time now rest and baby girl to think about that's do exiting and Italy is so beautiful that you only have to take a walk around and we can see beautiful mountains and be blown away by Luckyland, see you tomorrow sweethearts ❤❤
Enjoyed touring the camper expo with you guys…so interesting seeing the different options. It’s a big investment and much to consider before purchasing. Whether you’re traveling or not…I will still be watching your wonderful channel. You’re both wonderful, interesting people with great stories to share and will be even better when you’re little girl gets here! Love you guys ❤️
With your connection to Ferrari..I think a Fiat Ducato 4WD. Convert it yourself. I’ve just built a 2nd version and I’m 72 years old. You get a van that will suit your needs exactly for 50% of a new factory version. 6m version will fit in a normal length parking bay and is wider than a Sprinter. You get a 6ft bed across it. I expect you will find all this out anyway. Good luck on your search and congratulations on your marriage.
We went to a show and looked at the same van. They are so $$$$$$, and tight. Electric is a decade or two away for big RVs. You’ve worked hard to explore and entertain us. You deserve the best. God bless. Merry Christmas
A unimog is the best, an investment....it will always return it’s cost, maybe the value will even increase .... you would be the envy of anybody who really knows! I lived in 1968 VW combi in Australia in 1994.... I paid A$800 for it and sold it for A$2,000.....no pop-top, 2 people...now this vehicle is a collector’s one! I really enjoy your videos...Thank you ☺️
We live in Aotearoa New Zealand and travel our beautiful country in our Kea Nomad Mercedes Benz Sprinter. It's a three-berth so we can take a grandchild with us. We have the bed made up permanently, east-west, with still plenty of seating etc. The toilet-shower is a boon as is the solar power so we can be off grid. Love it! Best wishes for finding the van to suit your needs.
The Mercedes Sprinter 170 has so many option’s on how you could design it for the need’s of your family. It’s big, so it will really have to be thought over considerably before making the purchase, and just in case the 144 will work out, take a look at that also. Luca is really good at design and building, so I am confident that you two will come up with a great idea. Much love from Texas USA 🇺🇸 Geva and CJ
All the new vehicles are beautiful. You're right, safety is the #1 priority, especially for baby girl. After testing the many vehicles, you may find that it's best to purchase a new van and build it out so it fits your family instead of a cookie-cutter premanufactured one. I know it will be challenging to build out a new van, especially with a new baby; but it will be the best of both worlds. 1, you will have all the modern safety features (seatbelts, air bags, etc.) and 4-wheel drive. 2. You'll be able to custom design and build it to fit your family needs. Since you're not in a rush, you can take your time building. Either way, I know you all will choose what's best for all. Happy travels Luca, Sara, and Baby Girl.
I prefer a vintage car/ van. It is so much more cosy......and more adventurous. The real life. My son and wife and two children ( 6 and 4) do have a sixties Mercedes L319 (former dentist bus) van. They made the interior all themselves....all wood second hand ...... so cosy. I myself had 3 x Fiat 238 B in the past. Great times! Great memories! One summer in the eighties we went to Italy, Lago di Orta/ Torino. My children 2 and 4 ;) Oldtimers are a great investment. My son bought this van about 6 years ago for €2500,- and it is worth at least €40.000 now. Oldtimers are worth more and more. Regards from " a born hippie until i die" in the Netherlands.
Oh when you come to visit America, and you travel into Florida, you must come and stay with us. We have nice land, lake for kayaking, great base for visiting many wonderful Florida springs and central Florida amenities. As there are not a lot of open camping available on the east coast like there is in the west of US. So remember you have support here while traveling! Much love, Midwife Kelli in Florida
Get a comfortable rv so that you can be comfortable for a family 🤩 I love and enjoy your videos 🥀 Congratulations on your recent wedding ❤💕 You are a beautiful couple
Good morning, Beautiful Sara, Luca, baby, and Beautiful People! This was a great video learning about your choices of off road vehicles. I hope and pray that one day, I will be able to travel in a great off road vehicle. Happy Holidays! 🙏🎄❤️🍼📷🚐💍
It is hard to find the right size. Not too big, not too small. Of course size is a big factor, too. You have plenty of experience to know what you need without dragging around too much "stuff". Love you two.
I'm looking forward to you guys travelling Europe and producing your videos for us. I used to go to Europe every year, but now I'm afraid to, and not even sure I can get back into Canada, one day to the next, with this pandemic. Maybe we can all come along vicariously.
I totally agree with Sara, you need to test 2 or 3 vehicules to make the right choice or maybe buy an empty shell to DIY exactly like you want and for sure for less price. Hope all go alright for you
Wow there were so many vans and campers to choose from! I agree that 4WD gives you lots more options. Of the ones that you showed us the one with the big table/living area seemed open and spacious and not claustrophobic, but they all had pros and cons. Can you buy a 4WD van and either fit it out yourselves or have it custom made so that you can choose all of the best features from the different vans? That’s what I’d do if I was planning to overland travel and could afford it. ☺️👍
I think similarities of floor plans have something to do with visibility for when you need to change lanes and pass others. Personally if I was traveling with a family in a van I would like dining area that makes into bed and above a queen size bed that electronically goes up and down by a push of a button. Bed above driver seat that comes down with a queen bed in the back that could also pull down so children have area to play and stretch and for storage when on the road. 4 x 4 is a must for Luca and Sara and baby makes three.
It was fun to see all the different models of vans. Contact some manufacturers and see if they would sponsor you. It would be great publicity for their company. Of course, Luca is so talented you could build out your own van. Love and hugs to you both.
Comment on your chimney project. You could see how charred the beam was at the roof line. At the stove the pipe is very close to the walls and appears to be a single wall pipe not insulated. In the US you must have at least 18 inches distance from surrounding walls to prevent a possible structure fire. The pipe can be closer with a double wall. Single wall gives you more heating surface vs the double wall, but you have to allow for greater air space around combustible material. Thanks. Ciao!
Beautiful people "Sara and Luca"! Thank you for all your hard work filming and editing all the content, while meeting all the demands of your daily life. First off, that was soooo funny when Sara said "size matters" at the RV show, I almost chocked on my tortellini LOL! Their are numerous GREAT suggestions here that you should consider. I am personally researching a new RV for myself. My needs are vastly different than yours are going to be. Someone previously suggested a Travel Trailer, which I am busy researching, but for the U.S. Mexico and Canada. Having lived and traveled through numerous European countries, including Italy. I personally would not recommend one unless it was really short. Someone also suggested building out your own van. At your age an experience level I would seriously consider this, considering the prices of new RV's you saw at the show. What I have found useful is writing down all of your possibilities on a large lined sheet of paper side by side with all the models and important specifications side by side, line by line. I am going to buy my eighth RV, this does not count the numerous before "van life" VW campers, Dodge and Chevy Vans, live in pickup trucks, class C rentals, etc. If I can help in any way please let me know. Thank you, Ciao!
Great video so much to see big, small, huge so much to think about. You 2 can get thru so much as we have all seen, but now with babygirl it’s all about safety, reliability snd more room. That changing table in bathroom is so what you need no matter what you buy. Also baby’s have allot that goes with them, Allot to think about. At first I thought your 👁 was bad again. Must have been older video thank god. It’s all so exciting and interesting. You are right NO RUSH take your time it will find you. It’s getting bad again all over in so many countries 🥲so frustrating. Thank god your in the country, stay safe. Love coming from upstate NY🌲💗
Awesome video guys, that Expo would have been awesome! I doubt we would have so many different campers here in New Zealand. I think you guys are being really smart, looking to test different vehicles and waiting until baby arrives, to find out her needs 😊
This was a great video, thank you for sharing your amazing life. With such narrow roads in Italy I would think that would certainly limit the size of an off road vehicle. Maybe it’s time for Sara to pull out her Captain’s license and look for a family boat. Ran II family on TH-cam has been sailing all over with their baby girl, who is now a toddler. Also sailing Nahoa is a family sailing the world with a one year old and they just had a baby boy..they are also on TH-cam. Love to you both and to the baby 🥰💓💓
Loves the tour of the RV show. Of course the best one was the expensive Mercedes. But like you said no rush. Take your time because covid may put a damper on going anywhere. Sarah how was your doctor visit? Hope you got good results. That is the main thing not a van. Stay safe and thanks for the daily vlogs. Love you two😘
I'd love to have a new van also, but just can't do it right now. Need some surgeries before I can travel again. I hate being stuck in one place. Good luck to you. Hope you find what you need.
We bought Knaus Van Ti Plus 650 MEG 4×4 Man Platinum Selection last spring and can warmly recommend it. It's great and cheaper than most other 4×4 camper vans!
Hi Luca and Sara. You should look now for space for a baby stroller, car seat and baby necessities like diapers, bottles, baby food and not for motorcycle space anymore. A baby take a lot of space that they much need it. And that coming with that responsibility. Blessings and best of luck.

Be Blessed and much luck with the baby. Take your time with the traveling. HUGS.

Guys build yourself another van. You’ve done a great job on Lewigi. Good luck & congrats!

Thank you for taking us to the Camper show!!! I had a lot fun! ."Size Matters" very funny Sara!! Love from Vermont
I think the used market is worth checking out. Excellent video!

I would love to see your review of as many rigs as possible. Please continue with your channel / content!!
Definitely a bigger van or camper type and 4 x 4. Great that you are keeping the other two. Love and be safe!😘🤗🌼🇻🇪💕
Maybe a small schoolie?
Good afternoon beautiful people, loving these daily vlogs. 💖

The "home made" vans and campers are my favorite. They show so much creativity and warmth. I can't wait to meet your baby girl.

I personally love rear lounge vehicles with ceiling drop down beds and split shower/toilet areas.
So many van options! It is wonderful you have time to explore . Quite a challenge.
While the new vehicles look great, I'm sure Luca/Sara can build a fantastic one at a fraction of the cost, and save the rest on the baby expenses! Best of luck, should be a awesome ride. Stay healthy.
Yeah! I was thinking the same thing. Especially when Sara noted all of the manufactures have the same design layout.
Totally! Do your own build you are more than capable and you would save a LOT of money! Pick the vehicle and then go for it!
That was a lot of fun thank you for taking us along
Love your daily blogs and Luca English has improved a 100% since l 1st.started watching. You two will be great parents.
You look like a great couple. Best of luck with everything and all your future adventures 👍👍👍

It was cool seeing all those options ! Once again, the food looked delicious 😋
Sara you look amazing in that jumper I love the color beautiful
Hey, I get to comment again.
The vehicle makers are so clever with the design! I’m always amazed!
I really enjoy your videos...Thank you ☺️
I liked the one with the two front lounge benches
I love you two (three) and wish for you the best in life from Dallas, Texas.
Highly recommend you buy a van and film decking it out to perfectly fit your little family, we would all love that!
I have loved your daily vlogs!! Thank you so much for making them!
Three beautifull people x
You guys are awesome! Partners should be of one mind and goals and so loving as both of you are. Good luck and great travels!
I love the daily video`s. you guys rock, so cool
Hope all go alright for you
I think the best motor home is for you is la Strada it is beautiful and perfect for a family. I think made in Germany. I love that van.
I don't know how many campers you looked at, I personally liked the one where Luca tried pulling the bed down.
I really love your videos guys!... I wish you both the best!, greetings from Washington DC 😘
Looking forward to seeing tomorrow- have enjoyed your vlogs
