I'm glad he has great work ethic and still can't read a defense and run into sacks constantly and can still only throw the deep ball for a guy with a high work ethic doesn't really seem to be improving at anything 😂😂
You realize that this makes it much, much worse, do you? If he would just be lazy, that would be an easy fix, but if he (allegedly) puts in the work, is the "first in, last out", yet shows no improvement whatsoever AND has to tapp out because he's tired, then there is nothing you can do, he's just not NFL-QB material...

@@soda8736It actually means everything. As a Blk man we make excuse for each other and never hold each other accountable. The coach has picked winning a few more games because it gives him a better chance of keeping his job. Nothing wrong with that!
@@Maxrepfitgmit was never about coming a long way. It was about being denied the equal right to play every position because they feared what is happening now.
Remember when Richardson said “the nfl is easy.” He has worse completion percentage than Tim Tebow and Jamarcus Russell. Meaning he’s completing only 44% of his passes. He needs to sit down and learn from Joe.
@ Josh Allen had higher completion percentage and more touchdowns. Unlike Anthony Josh Allen actually improved everyday to fix his passing mechanics. While Anthony went into the league cocky and practically quit his team saying “I was tired.”
The Colts should’ve signed Cam to be AR’s vet instead of Minshew. Why sign a vet who has a completely different skill set that your rookie QB? I’d understand if Minshew was already there but tht wasn’t the case. Both sides failed each other here.
Cam Newton was a complete and utter failure with the Patriots. He was out of the league by the time he was 32. Meanwhile, great QBs like Tom Brady and Drew Brees played into their 40s. Cam's success has always been overrated. He was carried by a great defense and running game in Carolina. I seem to recall Jonathan Stewart and DeAngelo Williams being the players that defenses gameplanned for, which opened things up for Newton. When he got those things taken away from him in NE, he failed.
For starters, Cam hasn't played in years, and when he last had a chance, he lost a QB competition with Mac Jones. Next, Minshew was there because he was with Steichan in Philadelphia the year prior. He was Hurt's backup as well. Having a diversity of skill sets isn't a bad thing. Steichan was also Justin Herbert's OC in his rookie year. I bring that up to show that he's an OC that has catered to the strengths of his QBs. I'm rooting for AR. You can't justify playing him over Flacco, right now. I legitimately don't know how people can actually watch the games, and think his issue is the coaching.
I agree with Cam. One thing I said when Richardson called himself a competitor was, "I'm tired" shouldn't even be in your vocabulary if you're in the NFL. And you CERTAINLY don't say it to the media. The younger generation is soft. They don't love the game, they love the paycheck. That's why so many players, once they get money, don't do sh*t. And he may not be making a super ton, but I bet it was in the future so why should he care?
Well done, Ryan Ckark, for Reigning in SAS. He was about to create a whole new negative narrative about the young man with zero proof. The man is disgusting.
My thing is why they treating Joe Flacco like a lame… he should be a starter wherever he goes, like hes a Super Bowl champion… half the league ain’t never even been to a Super Bowl…yea he just got 1 but so do Aaron rogers an people praise Aaron rogers… I’m just confused onto why he just keep getting traded like he ain’t him 🤔🤔

Big props to how RC jumped in and stopped SAS from creating a false narrative that Anthony Richardson could potentially be lazy and has a bad work ethic. He followed that up by saying he PERSONALLY attended training camp practices and witnessed that young man putting in the work!
Yep
I'm glad he has great work ethic and still can't read a defense and run into sacks constantly and can still only throw the deep ball for a guy with a high work ethic doesn't really seem to be improving at anything 😂😂
You realize that this makes it much, much worse, do you? If he would just be lazy, that would be an easy fix, but if he (allegedly) puts in the work, is the "first in, last out", yet shows no improvement whatsoever AND has to tapp out because he's tired, then there is nothing you can do, he's just not NFL-QB material...
@@nicoj9984 I think it's because he's black if AR was white these comments wouldn't be here... AR has rumors of a tom Brady's work ethic but plays like jamarcus Russel 😂 this just can't be the truth seems like Clark is lying to protect AR couldn't be because hes black tho
I like that cam is very well spoken on first take. You can say whatever you want, but anybody that criticizes cam can never take away the fact that he was a very best player in the entire league at one point.
Yep. I think the criticism stems from the fact that he didn't live up to the expectations. He wasn't a bust or anything like that, but he will never make the Hall of Fame and thus will be forgotten by the masses. It sucks because, at one time, he was the best QB in the league.
This was actually a good segment from beginning to end.
SAS was trying to start a negative narrative but rc shut it down immediately! SAS does tht often and gets away with it.
Please compare his stats to Josh Allen's start...just like Nick Wright did
@flockh24 and how many bad qbs can you compare those stars too? It means nothing
Cam just did a mic drop. Bro finna get new followers on his podcast.
Well, WORK yields results. I think just like Cam..Richardson is so physically gifted that he does not work as hard as he should or could. Like Cam did. He never learned to throw as well as he could have with proper amount of WORK.
@@soda8736It actually means everything. As a Blk man we make excuse for each other and never hold each other accountable. Richardson is doing what Cam did…not working hard at the weaknesses because the strengths are so strong. He is riding his strengths. He is physically-gifted and not working on intangibles. It’s obvious.
Well done, Ryan, for effectively addressing and resolving that unfavorable narrative. 👏🏾
Yeah besides that though he was wrong. Flacco gives them the better chance to win and there’s nothing wrong with that
@@timboslice8559He didnt say that was wrong. Hes saying you drafted this kid who you knew wouldn’t contribute to winning right away. You knew AR was raw, inexperienced, and inaccurate when you drafted him.
So is the priority winning a few more games right now, or developing your supposed franchise QB?
The coach has picked winning a few more games because it gives him a better chance of keeping his job.
Nothing wrong with that!
Ryan Clark is consistently wrong, he's the NFL version of Kendrick Perkins.
@johnkrull7323 sounds about white
3 Successfull black men on the #1 sports show! Man have we come far
Went from "black men can't be Quarterbacks!" To now look at the league...We have indeed come a long way and it's beautiful to see.
@@Maxrepfitgmit was never about coming a long way. It was about being denied the equal right to play every position because they feared what is happening now.
Give Cam his flowers
Cam on here is the ONLY way i can even listen to SAS
FACTS
Clark is a great analyst too
I don’t want a quitter on my team, we need gladiators
Remember when Richardson said “the nfl is easy.” He has worse completion percentage than Tim Tebow and Jamarcus Russell. Meaning he’s completing only 44% of his passes. He needs to sit down and learn from Joe.
Please compare his stats to Josh Allen's start
@ Josh Allen had higher completion percentage and more touchdowns. Unlike Anthony Josh Allen actually improved everyday to fix his passing mechanics. While Anthony went into the league cocky and practically quit his team saying “I was tired.”
Comprehension is lost on you kiddo
@@Atribecalledsuccess you might wanna look in a mirror because your talking about yourself.
@@Slade_Chill you obviously didn’t understand his full statement
Cam newton said he should have jumped on the ball
Weirdo
Coming from a Florida fan, I wish Anthony Richardson was half the college qb Jamarcus Russell was lol
Stephen A. loving having Cam on the show 😂
Cam speaking facts
Ryan Clark is like, Cam your wrong, so I’m going to say the exact same thing
@@RobbieStacks90overrated is not a word I would use for cam newton
@@RobbieStacks90I see you literally in every comment section down talking teams and players do you ever not get tired of it
@@RobbieStacks90another guy who didn’t actually watch
Cam really is the most qualified person to speak on the specific situation
I agree with Cam. One thing I said when Richardson called himself a competitor was, "I'm tired" shouldn't even be in your vocabulary if you're in the NFL. And you CERTAINLY don't say it to the media. The younger generation is soft. They don't love the game, they love the paycheck. That's why so many players, once they get money, don't do sh*t. And he may not be making a super ton, but I bet it was in the future so why should he care?
I love this!!!! Great conversation and much motivation!! LET’S GOOOO!!!
Well done, Ryan Ckark, for Reigning in SAS. He was about to create a whole new negative narrative about the young man with zero proof.
The man is disgusting.
I totally agree wth you! RC ddnt hesitate on shutting it down. SAS does this a lot on dak but nobody speaks up for dak.
His play says otherwise
You saw nobody else was laughing about the JaMarcus Russell comments but Stephen A Smith
The Jamarcus Russell comp is absolutely brutal
Bringing Cam to the show is the best decision since they brought shannon sharpe
Hearing a 25 year old say he’s tired is alarming 😂 he should be at his peak physical shape
AR is 22 years old
Bro he’s 22 and has played 10 games he probably has no idea the full responsibility of being the franchise QB
Ryan was so proud of how Cam connected the dots on his last perspective. It was beautiful to see. 🤝🏾
My thing is why they treating Joe Flacco like a lame… he should be a starter wherever he goes, like hes a Super Bowl champion… half the league ain’t never even been to a Super Bowl…yea he just got 1 but so do Aaron rogers an people praise Aaron rogers… I’m just confused onto why he just keep getting traded like he ain’t him 🤔🤔
🗣‼️#TalkAboutIt💯
That’s a good point
He's just really old and was never considered great by the media. The media narratives affect the players and personnel decisions way more than they should.
Because he isn't a stud qb. He isn't starting for 32. Also he wasn't the driving force in that sb...
@@sheldonlucas4777big dog, he was absolutely the biggest reason they were in the SB. 11tds-0ints.
Has he ever been elite at any other point in his career? Absolutely not. But he was insane on that run, and is still capable of getting a team to the playoffs. He proved as much last year with Cleveland.
This group RC, SAS, & CAM is gold (UNC shouldve been there)
Btw Cam literally carried CAR to a 15-1 season and the SB with his best WR having 790 receiving yards.
He had 7 other all-pros on his team. Including a DPOY. That team was elite, and firing on all cylinders, until the SB.
I’m glad Ryan shut down the narrative Stephen A tried to create on Anthony Richardson’s work ethic .
lol Stephen A don’t need to create a narrative, Richardson did that for himself. He quit on the stool. No one will believe in his work ethic ever again
That’s was awesome. He’s like the youngest QB in the league and he was just given super valuable council from the veteran QB Cam Newton. Good stuff Steven A….Good stuff 🫡

SAS is an executive producer. He's going in a higher direction and is setting the show up to be able to run without him.
Richardson’s biggest issue for me was telling the media he was tired. That’s stuff the media shouldn’t know
MOLLY 😍
It's nice to hear Cam tell RC that he made a great point. That doesn't happen enough on this show.
We don’t have the false perception that the NFL is easy. Anthony Richardson said the pros were easier than college football. That’s why everybody looking at him crazy.
And that right there shows me he doesn’t take it seriously.
I wonder if he was taken out of context. In college you must remain eligible and follow some arcane rules surrounding practice time and in the NFL you merely need to concentrate on the game, e.g , your profession.
@@CBruce-r3t I listened to that pod and he was saying it was easier because in the pros everyone is good and want the same thing. Which is to be the best and win and you don’t have to carry players in a sense.
Okay. Thanks for the insight. There was no way that I would go research it.
@@Artbyartcreates Ok. Now that makes more sense. I see him getting benched as a positive tho (if he has the right mindset about it) because he’ll get more time to develop sitting behind Flacco. If he continued to play, this would have only destroyed his confidence.

Appreciated how Cam and RC called PAUSE, on Stephen A attempting to call out AR's training habits and motivations. Only players, who know THAT LIFE themselves, can call that out.
That being said, AR needs to step up that in-game performance, for his own sake.

Most Florida fans as myself knew AR was nowhere close to being a starting QB in the NFL yet,. His completion percentage was awful in college and he was always knicked up.. athleticism can only get u so far..
Man you didn’t know nothing hush. Dude literally every NFL team scouts watched him and asked questions.
THANK YOU! I’m a Florida fan myself and even I was surprised at how high we went in the draft. I don’t believe he completed one full season of college ball, and when he was playing it wasn’t much to brag about. He has high potential without a doubt, but he never really developed much.
We need Cam on first take more than once a week
