In this video tutorial I show how you can get those beautiful infill patterns to show on your models by removing the top and bottom solid layers. I'm using Prusa Slicer for this demo but these settings can be found in all slicers. Make sure to check out the design video for this model if you haven't yet. Enjoy!

Awesome trick. Confirmed it works in Bambu Studio as well BUT you have to change one extra setting - under Quality/Advanced change "Only one wall on top surfaces" to "Not Apply" - otherwise it doesn't use the full amount of walls and the infill shape shows up on the top layer

DUDE YOU THE G.O.A.T.! I was driving myself crazy trying to figure out how you actually send more than one body to your slicer and nobody on TH-cam or on the forums or on the guides were covering that simple thing. Thank you!

I love your style and your approach to conveying information to us. I only wish I had half the knowledge you have. Keep up the good work and thank you for your time and effort you put into your channel.

I followed your example on both part 1 and part 2. I also take advantage of the parameters features so that I can change the sizes without going into the design itself. I printed with several infill options. They turned out great! Thank you for sharing this.

You should probably specify how much clearance you gave between the parts in fusion.

I cover that in the design video: th-cam.com/video/zAFSRkesRkU/w-d-xo.html
