China wouldn’t want an aggression. Because it would mean a horrible humanitarian catastrophe that also they would have to deal with. And it would mean they would have to occupy NK for years and years to not risk US bases close to China’s boarders. Besides the radioactive fallout when NK ultimately deploys one or more nukes in a futile attempt to save themselves when they realize they will lose a conventional war. North Korea could really only have some success if they have massive support from the Chinese air force. China won’t give such support, but to defend NK from an aggression initiated by SK and the US. Let’s hope China’s diplomats may have some success in restraining Kim. Unfortunately a dictatorship dealing with a dictatorship seldom leads to diplomatic success.
