Nah, I’ve played with this type of NP. Just needs a different strategy it’s pretty funny. You can die 20 times and constantly taunting the enemy to focus on you more so NP can take towers, when you win it’s much more satisfying than a boring “normal” game.

At 1:45 when you said 'puck throwing', I fully disagree. I may not be a better player than you but for the first 1 minute of observation, I would say that you are being passive aggressive towards your teammates and not contributing in talking to them, let alone in fights, are all on you. That clip alone painted a picture of you being a douche.

i didn't tp because i felt like it was a risky fight. he is flaming me for not joining fights, I don't think I did anything wrong by ignoring and farming as a carry to hit my timings. dying as a carry in the mid game is very costly regardless of what hero you're playing. so you think its right for him to call end and run it down just because he disagree with my decision not to join risky fights before my timings?

200 ping for dota is really bad, maybe 150 at minimal

This NP is like a raid boss with conditions
The conditions are don't let him get lvl. 25
You fail the condition, you die

im on a 5 wins in a row with a similar build but i think going midas might actually be better to get fast 25. I usually never make it to 25 before we win at around 25-30 mins. But some games do drag into 40~ mins and 25 would be nice for those. If people were really smart theyd buy midas\dagon 1 and deny the ratting but its such a huge investment. You always bait at least 1 hero to defend and they usually cant as you stack 2-3 treants. Dont even have to be lvl 25.
I wonder how the strat will work with Invoker's Alacrity, Ogre Magi's Bloodlust, and Kotl reducing cooldowns.

you know the best part of the first clip is that your NP and Treant are colored green in the minimap, which is by the radiant POV it looks like an allied unit

I just tried this strat in a normal match as a pos 3. The game ended before I could reach lvl 25, and my team was pretty much flaming me for not being active/ganking, but the STRAT DOES WORK. Enemy base is practically gone if they out ganking lol XD

00.00 - 03.52 is why i stop play dota 2 since 2019 (i start play since dota 1) because i alway try to research and test new build but my random match teammate don't understand the potential when things start to work so when i try something like this NP they alway blame me whole game even still win in the end. Now i just watch competitive VOD tournament and theorycraft with bot and dummy only because most of people who play dota2 nowaday don't understand the beautiful of theorycraft and test build they want to play meta build to win only but they don't know that all meta they play always come from people who theorycraft and test first.
Dota is a competitive meme at this point. Watching videos is fun, playing games not really.
The devs need to think harder before doing anything to the game.

Playing with NP means one thing: rat. So even if you don't communicate you should already expect NP players to farm and push other wise as a hero he doesn't contribute much unless you have dogshit draft

Ive thought about this with kotl from the beast master video, kotl great at high ground defence, and when you hit 25 can get you like 2x the treants with cooldown reduction and then leave to fight with team
I think I got a strat that you would like. Lich scepter + Ringmaster. Lich uses aggro, Ring uses ult in the direction the enemies are facing, lich throws chain frost, everyone dies. What do you think?
