I bought the Gorilla 18' Multi-Purpose 300lb ladder at Home Depot last year (2020 Black Friday) & paid $79. I liked it so.much, I went back to Home Depot to buy another one for my other property. The price was $99 which was $20 more than last year's Black Friday deal but still a great ptice. When I arrived at H.D. i found out they were sold out of the 18' ladder. I then asked to speak to a manager and he told me that he would sell me the Gorilla 22' Multi-Purpose 300lb ladder for the same $99 price. Needless to say, I jumped on that deal. Great ladders at really great prices!
This is a great ladder. Just got one today. Yes over 200 bucks but allows me to move ahead with projects around the house. Thx for the video presentation
I have the gorilla 18' 300 pd ladder very nice but I paid $219 for mine back in 2022 now's it's $179 (June '24) which ticks me off. The 375 pd like in this video is currently $199. Mine works great and easily storable can put it in back seat of a car to haul it if need be.
Just got one today from Home Depot for $79 and also bought the slim fold work platform for $24. Seems solid ladder considering the sale price and yes I’m keeping my gorilla ladder 😂
Thanks for this video. I've been meaning to get a ladder to reach the roof of my one story house. I happened across this ladder while on Home Depot's website and it just happened to be on sale for $88.88. I then looked for a video review on it and found yours. I called my dad to see if he'd meet me there (I live 3 miles across town and he lives a few blocks from there). They let him use his military ID and we got another 10 per cent off that (He's always hounding me what I want for Xmas, so here it is). Score! With tax, just under 86 bucks. Hopefully this will be the last ladder I ever buy. I'll probably only use it several times a year so I should be good to go.
I just bought one for $190 from Home Depot. One side doesn't lock into place and the side that does sure doesn't practically do it on its own. It's a giant PITA and dangerous. I'm taking it back.
What do you mean, "you don't know what he's talking about"? It's obvious the ladder was a different price at the time he made the video. It's like you're trying to catch him in a lie or something.
I worked at little giant and I can say all ladder companies are just ripping each other off almost all the futures are the same other then the hinges and the label’s other then that almost the exact same thing

I'm in between purchasing a 26 Ft Gorilla GLMPX-26W-2 and the 26 Ft Little Giant Epic ladder. Any thoughts/advice? My roof is just about 22 Ft and although I've been told its always best to have the extra length, I'm tempted to get a 22 Ft model as its lighter and less expensive.
Getting on a roof, you really want that extra length over the edge for ascending/descending. Both the Little Giant Epic and the Gorilla are great ladders. I'm not sure you could go wrong, either way. However, the Little Giant is about 15lbs heavier than the Gorilla, but it also has some features the Gorilla doesn't have. It's a trade-off. Features or lightweight. Hope this helps a little. I'm pretty sure the Gorilla is quite a bit cheaper as well. Thanks for watching and commenting.
The twist knobs on the side is such a bad design, engineers should be fired. For people over 50, and once the ladder is a little older, it is extremely difficult to turn those knobs. Very bad design. There are other better designs.
