I would expect them to buy and carry knives from other companies so we could have all company meetings at the end of the week and just have knife talk to discuss what we love about all of the different knives we were carrying for market research.

@@ordinaryaverageguy3233 Benchmade was in the news a month or so ago... they volunteered to assist the neighboring police department destroy a number of firearms that were seized in crimes or turned in by citizens. They used benchmade tools to chops up a bunch of guns. A lot of people in the 2nd Amendment community (big overlap with the knife community) declared Benchmade anti-gun because of their actions. They have had a PR nightmare on their hands ever since and their sales numbers are down.
The bigger news is they were found to be donating thousands of dollars to Democrats the last 5 years. 100% actually 🤮

If I could pick any Benchmade I would definitely go with the anthem. When I was on the search for a Benchmade I came across the anthem and it immediately caught my eye as the exact shape of a knife I want. Sadly it's way too expensive and I think discontinued now. Hopefully they make another knife with a similar design.

I too own 3 Benchmades (mini Barrage, Bugout, Bushcrafter.) I paid good money for these blades. One has significant sentimental value. I won’t be dumping them. That being said..I won’t be buying anymore.

I carry the plain satin 407 Vallation every day. Absolutely love this thing. One handed opening and closing with the assist and it's an excellent fit in my hand. Very happy it made it across the Canadian border, couldn't be happier! I also carry a freek in the left pocket.....

I got a free knife tool kit when I bought my Mini Grip like 5 or 6 years ago, it's just something they do sometimes.
"Crisp clean bevels" i laughed hard and loud! My poor 940 saw 3 different blades before we got one that worked. The most uneven factory grinds on the market, and I love benchmade so hopefully the qc gets tightened up soon.
Incredible how many people here are giving Benchmade a hard time because they suspect Benchmade is against fire arms. I think you guys all have a fear problem and the fire arm industry is doing all they can to grow that fear. What a great industry. Not that it matters, but for me Benchmade actually just earned some credit.

I live close to Oregon City and the story we have heard is that the firearms destroyed were used in crimes and were never going back onto the market for ownership. Benchmade is the only manufacturing plant in Oregon City that had the equipment to destroy the guns. Benchmade has been a big supporter of the Second Amendment and private gun ownership. Guns and knives go together as we all know.

Been carrying an Emissary 470 since it came out ( my poor old Buck 110 is now hidden in a drawer). And I have two spares. But, I have a 4500 on order to try as an EDC mainly because my Infidel is just too heavy for an old man.

Say what you want but spyd is not low quality an is not garbage by any means. An Kershaw makes a quality knife. Opinion may differ (yours there’s others) but bottom line, I can no long support any company that donate to anti 2A politicians. Or for that manner any that take stands against the constitution. I never attacked the quality or reputation of the Benchmade product. But says a lot that people attack other companies that are I. The market. FYI Kershaw is a USA made knife as well.
Benchmaid has never made a knife that comes close to the quality and toughness of a Cold Steel 4-Max. Not remotely close.
Just got the ranger bug out second benchmade and second olive green one at that lol. Absolutely in love with it it weight ligit nothing and is solid as hell. Great flipper to I really don’t mind grivory and honestly like it more than micarta

Benchmades have always been my favorites.
My favorite Benchmades are the 630 Skirmish and the 635 Mini Skirmish, followed closely by the 710 McHenry and Williams. Both are now discontinued ☹️. I do like the Anthem and the Super Freek, but I keep hoping for a Skirmish Flipper in m390 or a full titanium 710 😊.
