    It’s funny when you watch the gncc races in the states there is whole class dedicated to can-am renegades. It’s seems Polaris as a whole is not interested in that fan base to same extent can am is. It would be awesome if all manufactures were a little more interested in sport utility with more emphasis on sport that utility. This could revitalize the 450 class sport quads.

    Its great to see all this coming out with polaris. But my question is this... what has polaris done with their electronics ie. connectors, relays, ecus??? This has been a thorn in their side for years now. This seems to be the most common problem in all their offroad lineup. As a matter of fact, that is the main reason I switched brands.

    • @scottfurlong5475
      @scottfurlong5475 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That strut setup is super plush and damn near bomb proof. It is cheaper to continue to run the old setup but I suspect they will eventually change over to the dual A-arm setup they have. The strut setup reduces maintenance by omitting the upper A-arm but it's not adjustable and the wheels are always on an angle which looks weird. I prefer dual A-arms but the bean counter won't have it.

    It seems the big-bore models already received a lot of these changes back in 2019, and the 450/570 are just catching up--typical release cadence to upgrade the more expensive models first. What's not clear is what, if anything, is unique and new to 450/570 that is not already on the big-bore models.

    • @pavmentsurfer13
      @pavmentsurfer13 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nothing really. Your right, this is how the industry works. New stuff is showcased on the high end models, then trickles down to the lower cost units. Its why a sportsman 570 can cost what it does. The R&D is paid for by the big unit sales.

  • @jshapiro34

    It's because they have a community program where we constantly give input and they send us gift cards lmao 😂 but they listen to the consumers besides wheels and tires from the factory.
    But no matter what they compete with something the rzr to can or artic talon ECT
    Sportsman to brute grizzly king quads
    General is just unmatched

Some people gripe that it just means the trails will be busy yeah that might be the case for the next year or so but those dollars hopefully get put back into the systems to expand or enhance them for everyone's benefit down the road.

      Routine maintenance is key yea admittedly u can get some moron a honda with 20 hp thats very hard to break even neglected and put them on a sportsman yea they will trash it.. Hondas are a little more reliable when neglected than polaris but if properly maintained and not abused the polaris will last just as long an have 300% more hp

      HeyDude I’ve owned I believe 8 Yamaha quads in my life. Change the oil and air filter once a year and that’s it. I had a grizzly with 13,000 miles on it. Original everything. Ran perfect. Nothing ever breaks and they run smooth. I’ve owned 2 Polaris quads and 2019 ranger xp. All 3 are built terrible and something is constantly leaking or broke. I really have no experience with other brands but I can tell you that Polaris is junk and it seems you’re right. They don’t really don’t care because people just keep buying something that looks good.

    I think Polaris should get rid of the 570 single and put a 600 or 650 twin in there . The 570 still has enough power but you can’t beet the power and smoothness of a twin . And of course upgrade the suspension a little it would help after a long day of riding and it would still keep the cost competitive.

    "Year after year Polaris improves their products with the exact updates and features consumers are asking for" - Yeah it's called they have subpar quality control and cheap on parts in the factory such as clutches, bushings, ball joints, and tie rod ends, then have the consumer beta test their new product line and see what breaks. I will give Polaris props for starting the whole SXS revolution with the original 50" RZR 800 but since then they have been chasing the dollar more than customer satifaction and loyalty. IMHO
