I decided last night that to make my museum (which I regret completing tbqh) fit into my victorian, overgrown forest theme I need to hide it in a forested area so I moved it and started terraforming around it. It makes me happy to see others are doing the same thing. If I start a new island, I will keep Blathers in his tent and incorporate that into my campsite.
this was in my recommendeds, i think this is the first time i've seen someone knock down cliffs in alternate rows like i do!! stops that pesky half block hehe, i might have to binge the rest of your antillia videos! i love the theme and how you use the custom design paths ☺️
This is stunning. I'm almost finished with the museum so I kinda want to tuck it into the back of my forest island. I love how lush and textured this is. Plus I need to get some bamboo planted so I can get the young spring bamboo for all the green leaf piles I need to make! I didn't think it would look good with my forest but you changed my mind.

Lex your island's are amazing! For your next build maybe do a fairy garden able sisters build leaning towards fairy core a little but still making it look overgrown :)
Hey Lex! Love this video! In regards to your question about the trees, I tend to use the bamboo and palms around the edges of the island and bring them slightly inland. Then use more of the oak and cedar/pines on the rest of the island and towards the back. As for the water feature on the right side of the build I would normally use flowers as well. However, I am playing around with using the wheat field as water reeds around the base of waterfalls, ponds, and river mouths. I would love to see what you can come up with that and let me know how that goes!
I like the use of barbed wire fence! It gives it the little bit of edge that fits with your abandoned city theme. Also love the incorporation or the bamboo trees!
I’m loving the white and yellow flowers! I think adding the green mums would be a nice subtle addition to add some more variety too! But this is coming along great!!! Thanks for the inspiration 😊

My island is based on things around my favorite campsite here in California, Cachuma Lake has a special place in my heart and it inspired my island, sounds a lot like how your doing your island , I even have an over grown Museum on the top left corner of my island lol I love how you did yours.

So good!!!! I change my flowers up with the seasons, and I love yellow flowers for late summer because where I live, the beaches are lined with yellow flowers at that time of year.
I kind of like the idea of the barbed wire because if your city is long abandoned maybe the museum was a last refuge for the citizens of the island during whatever crisis occurred to cause the city to be abandoned, and the barbed wire fence are remnants of the protection they built! That's how it would be in my head canon, anyway! Great video!

i dont know about lex but i get all my money from turnip exchange. usually i just buy a full pockets worth on sunday and sell them on the island with the highest turnip buying price. I get a couple million at the least this way.
