What a day that must have been. Good to see Andy with a new machine for you folks, that is a speedy splitter and with the conveyor and umbrella holder. That will surely work good out in the woods like you guys work so much. Really enjoy the collaboration with you and Andrew. Great idea for the umbrella. With black fly & mosquito season (aka deet season) you could use the holder to mount a fan or bug zapper to keep those pesky winged blood suckers away from you. 👍

OMG. You did the pivot conveyor. I remember commenting that and you saying that was something you were thinking about doing. Looks great!
The Eastomade Axis was already a great machine and with those improvements takes it to the top.
You may want to look at the Wolfe Ridge vertical. They set the standard it seems. Andrew copied their ideas ( he even admitted it in another video ) to make his orange and blue machines better. No disrespect to him, but He is just trying to catch up at this point.
@@gushoo6076 I didn’t say it was better than anything out there I said it took it to the top, more than one can be at the top and be very competitive with each other, and what’s wrong with getting ideas from other manufacturers? Ford and Chevy and Ram do it all the time, I know about Wolfe ridge, oh wait they didn’t come out with a diesel untill after EastonMade, are we to say they copied @EastonMade on that one, they all do it to improve their products.
@@WilliamsonRidge I meant no offense. Just expressing an alternative ( or so I thought ) point of view. I know what you're saying and it is great for consumers but bad for the folks who actually bring designs forward if you know what I mean. It is also different choosing a motor from a vendor and incorporating another's design idea. I will mention that wolf ridge also did the same with the aluminum sorting table. I'm still not sure why this seems to be the "new way" other than maybe rust with steel or something. Just so you know, I have an orange and blue horizontal machine. Good splitter but I am not in a cult like mindset for them like some others on youtube or whatever forum. I have experienced first hand there "customer service" and to be fair, I am a little jaded over it. They still make decent splitters. I am however convinced that the Wolfe Ridge vertical is the very top. Not just due to them coming out with design betterments first, but they are also heavier made if I remember the specs correctly. Made in the USA is also a BIG plus or should be for any folks living here in the states I feel. If I could have afforded one of the other top three brands made here ( at the time of purchase ) I would have gotten one of them instead even before having a bad experience with orange and blue crew. Anyway, take care and I hope I was more clear and less offensive to you with this reply.
You both help each other a lot. You certainly help Andrew sell machines with great explanations and reviews on the Axis and Andrew helps make you guys' lives a lot easier with your firewood goals. And you all enjoy each others company which makes for an easy video to enjoy. Funny bloopers too. Good stuff, Gord!

Fastest hydraulic I've seen!
My Vimek (Finnish I think) is a drum/ cable type, combined with log saw, way quicker at the expense of strength (never lacked for it though).
Quicker you can do the firewood (within 2 weeks tops) the quicker you can get onto other projects, worth the investment IMO!
That thing is crazy fast! Those mosquitoes are small birds! Geez!

Well, good to look at you guys. But I am alone. So I use my compact tractor to feed me standing beside my kinetic wood splitter, with the trailer at the opposite side. Almost just as fast.

It's the attention they had toward a competitor's vertical machine in this case. Orang and blue are good machines but not the best in verticals yet in my opinion.

An Amazing Machine my Friend. It takes those Rounds and Splits them with ease. Nice and Portable to take back in the Woods to Process your Firewood. I am looking for a Processor myself. Is there a Link to Contact Eastenmade? Make my Firewood Splitting alot easier. Especially with the Locust I have. Great Video as always Gord and Team Work. Ron from the Woodyard in Duanesburg NY.
I do love this little beasty but I have to ask,, does it fold down , I mean that cylinder sticking up might be an issue,,
New features ( ideas ) that were copied by the orange and blue ( which should be illegal but I guess isn't somehow). At least it proves that Wolf Ridge had some really great ideas to move the industry forward.

Can we have a follow up on your choice on gloves when you’re doing firewood? I’ve resorted to cheap $5 “leather”gloves. Longevity is just an unrealistic expectation.
Crazy fast, perhaps, but it is also crazy expensive, 13k raw machine, for only 14 tons.
