You're going to love the Pontoon Boat especially with the family outings at the lake. They are so nice and comfortable. Sure hated to get rid of ours but it was time. WoW! Nice purchase, Captain GP! Although I have never owned one, I have friends who do. It is the best way to enjoy the lake, just putting around slowly and having nice conversations on the water with some beverages! Cheers!

We’ve had a pontoon boat for years , the family all love it . Not at all fast but cruising around the lake it is perfect . Carry a small (luggable loo ) with you and that small change room comes in handy if a passenger needs to use the washroom .

Lots of nice features Gord, I think you and the family will really enjoy it. I used to make snarky comments about pontoon boats, until I spent a weekend as the designated boat driver for some friends on Lake Norman in North Carolina. The lake I live on is covered with pontoons during the summer. The capacity for people is a great feature. My neighbor on one side has a tri toon with 250HP Honda. My other neighbor's wife works where they make power tops. They added one to their pontoon. My buddy has a pontoon but he used to call them junk on the water. Now he has more room for his wife and dogs.
Sylvan may be one of the brands made in northern Indiana near where I live. I have 2 Sea Doo's and an old Century inboard but a pontoon would make more sense now.

Sylvan makes a great pontoon boat for the money. Pontoon boats are known as the minivan of the lake but are the most versatile for everything boating. Enjoy your beautiful boat.

Yes, Gord I too sold my two boats, and bought a Pontoon boat. We bought locally, a Prince Craft Vectra 21. Probably about the same size as yours. You have some nice options on your craft, and we got some neat things too. Hope you enjoy the boat. We are looking forward to getting ours in a few days.

I live in NW Montana on the beautiful Clark Fork River and have been looking at pontoon boats for a few years! I learned quite a few things from your video!! I remember buying my $60k wakeboard boat in the mid 2000’s and pontoon boats like this were only $28ish thousand LOL
Hey good luck. Loved having the tower boat and it served it's purpose but even my daughters now just like hanging out putting around the lake slowly and relaxing now. Big change but I think will be a good change for us. have a great weekend!

Well would you look at that, Gord got his new boat in the water before I did, little jealous, but on May 17th I'll be on the Ottawa. Nice pontoon, yes your showing your age but why not get what you want to enjoy our senior years, the family will enjoy the outing on her once you name her. Laminate the ownership, and load it up with PFD's and we will await your 2 month review. Cheers and have a great weekend.

Nice video. Although surge brakes are convenient and don't require an electric brake controller in the truck, their downside is the inability to activate only the trailer brakes to get out of a dangerous and potentially life threatening swerve. Lots of TH-cam videos on this important subject for anyone new to larger boat trailers.

Nice boat. That is not a trailer transom support. That’s a servicing lock for the technician servicing it. If you’re going to trailer it buy a proper transom saver. Towing with that lock engaged will destroy your transom over time.

Agreed. Many pontoon boat makers advise trailering with the motor straight down to relieve undue pressure on the transom mount.
Yiu have everything on this ponton boat except for a Kubota loading ramp. Enjoy!!!
