    Who agrees that Weaponized justice system shows us clearly again how it targets political opponents

    • @surfwriter8461
      @surfwriter8461 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The DoJ under trump was the most weaponized ever, as trump declared he wanted his personal attorney and henchman AG "Low" Barr to go after his enemies and help his friends. Which is exactly what happened in a number of cases. You want your deranged demagogue trump to do it but you have a problem with the current DoJ actually abiding by and prosecuting with the rule of law properly. In short, you don't care about the rule of law applied equally and fairly. If anyone deserves to be prosecuted for numerous crimes, it's trump. His crimes include subversion of our electoral process, attempting to steal an election and incite his brainless followers to assault the capitol. The evidence already in the public record is overwhelming, but trumputin keeps trying to delay justice, corrupt the system to suit his needs and incite violence against judges, clerks, election workers, even the relatives of people he thinks are his enemy. You're a failed citizen, ill-informed and bigoted.

    80% of Tesla shareholder voted and approved Musk's 2018 compensation package. This was a vote that Musk and his brother were not permitted to vote on this proxy, otherwise it would have been over 95% shareholder approval. The Delaware Chancery Court overruling the will of shareholders is completely unprecedented.
    Move Tesla out of Delaware immediately.

    When I was growing up, my parents were frugal. We thought Taco Bell was a big treat because eating out was super rare. We had no idea how comparatively cheap it was.....and didn't care. The notion that I would have even thought to ask for something like a cell phone (that comes with a healthy monthly payment) was ludicrous. Today, kids think that eating out and cell phones and big screen TV's are just basic necessities. Couple this with all the graduates with (1) useless degrees; and (2) decent degrees but no work ethic (which begs the question how did they get the degree?) and it is no wonder that we are in this state today. Lastly, add in the college/university system that gets more expensive yet prepares students less..........

    I served my country to get a higher education. Nothing is free. Somewhere a payment has to be made by someone. Frankly, if Biden wants to forgive student loans it should come from his personal pocket not mine in form of taxes. I want everyone to get a great education. When we give things away for free the receiver seeks more free and does less work.

    All 3 of my adult daughters live with my husband and I. They all have full time jobs. Only one went to college, on full scholarship. They pay for their own cars, car insurance, bills, their meals except dinner...we still have that as a family. We live in Alexandria, VA. Not only is it way too expensive for them to afford their own place with utilities...it is extremely unsafe due to all the illegal immigrants and high crime. It's like when I grew up in NYC in the 70s, completely unsafe. Its sad because i got married and moved out at 20 and my oldest is going to be 27....times have changed so much in one generation!!

    Totally delusional. With rent topping over $2,000/ month and your average mortgage now approaching $3,500 a month current US wages for college graduates don’t support being able to afford living outside your house- unless you are saving $0 of your income . The U.S. economy needs to get back in order (lower interest rates, lower inflation) before recent college graduates can afford to live more independently…

      Doing so would require more funds from the federal government like it used to be. Education used to be more evenly and better funded when a lower percentage came from local property taxes and higher amount from federal taxes. In Germany people leave high school already on a career track. They have a lot more shops and labs in schools a lot less class rooms. Every high school in America used to have a machine shop and auto repair. Now almost none do. The money goes to bezos and china now.

    It seems kind of unfair that when regular people have money problems, they don't get bailed out, but big companies do. Imagine if you made a mistake with your money - you'd have to figure it out yourself, right? Well, it's similar for individuals struggling with debts. But when big companies mess up, the government helps them out with money to avoid bigger problems in the economy. It's like they're getting a special treatment, and some people think it's not fair because it doesn't work that way for everyone.
