WD40 as chain clener/lubricant instead of Motorex chain lube? Shell Advanced oil instead of Motorex 15/50 Top Speed or Cross power? That dealership looks like a hobbyist mechanic shop.
The mechanic didn't remove the bottom drain plug (that's where the break in/metal wear debris is) or change the screens. He'd have to remove the skid pan to remove the sump drain. And,... he didn't adjust, what appeared to be, a very loose chain. Apply spray chain lube in between the sprockets and the chain... IOW, to the inside of the chain.
Hello sir. New owner ng 401 po. Ask ko lang kung paano na aactivate yung easyshift ng mga 401 sa first pms? Naactivate lang po ba sya agad agad after 1st pms or need pa po ipa activate? Sana po mapansin. More power sa channel mo sir

How about the parts po? Nagkaron na po ba ng time na you had to replaced a certain part? Like clutch lining or brake pads etc. I have been thinking of buying myself a Svart 401 din kc. Actually torn between 401 or 200 pa hehe. Parang di ko naman kc need mag expressway din eh. Taga province naman kasi ako.
After almost 1+ year and 12k km, so far so good. No major parts replacement aside from the change oil, oil filter, and chain tension adjustment. Baka mas good buy ang 200 if tight budget, pero if budget permits good din ang 401 for optional expressway runs, at least pwede idaan doon 😉

@@casualridingtv let's go for 401 haha. Di kasi ako makuntento, bought a 125 akala ko sapat na yun casual riding lang naman, until I got addicted. I upgraded the block,head, valves etc etc. its now 153, still not contented. Planned to buy 200... Might not be contented nanaman kaya sabi ko 401 nalang

Kaya naiicp ko dn tlga na 150-200cc muna at least hnd mabigat sa kalooban kung maccra ko. Pro aun nga, sobrang dami ngsasabi na hnd ako makukuntento daw eventually. Also, im thinking of xsr 155 dn. Since its more beginner friendly in a way na hnd mabigat sa maintenance or parts. If i will decide to pursue manual hehe. What do you think sir? Okay nman dn xsr no?
Hi! Very interesting videos. Have you noticed a slight rattling in the front of the motorcycle while driving? To the first 1000 km. I'm riding it now and I can't figure out if it's normal or not. 🤔 Or is it just my imagination 🤔
@@thomasmoore692 the vibration was drastically lessened after the 1st/1000 km maintenance. Also, with a single cylinder engine, it starts to vibrate at around 7000 RPM🙂

serious question... why are they using water dissolvable lubricant on a chain that gets wet? I was told with the type of chain it is, I'm not supposed to use W.D. 40, is that not true?

Agree, but it is the cheapest around town. If not for the warranty, I would have DIYed this instead 😅

Wd40 on the chain is a big No if it has o rings....wd40 aggressively attacks rubber/plastic...

Recommended Motorex pero as long as 15W-50, all goods 😉

Mirrors are from an online shop here in the PH, and it's for both looks and visibility. The stock are larger though.

Running very well @15k km.
No major issues so far. Minor issues are the chain (usage) and tank drain hose, look out for those.

Hello! Ano ba sabi sa manual? I think 1k, then 5k, then 10k ata ang Preventive Maintenance Schedule (PMS, hindi lang ito change oil 😉)
