Yeah that stuff definitely works. I used it to fill in a patch in the side of my beard and my entire chin area under my lip that wasn't growing at all.
Yeah my sides when I started growing my beard around 18-19 was patchy but I had a moustache and goatee with sideburns. I've started the treatment today at 28 years. Only because I had a thick beard until a barber shaved my sides where it took a while to fill out from being patchy. Imagine getting over the patchy phase to have a barber not your regular but a second option shave it down lower..... Really pisssed me the fuck off.

they say that the liquid one provides a better outcome...but it is a bit more trying than the foam....so if you can oversee the dryness, you could see even better results and faster using the liquid form.
I keep seeing people that have somewhat of a beard. Maybe its not full, but all these guys have something on their face. I want to see someone who is completely bald face, take this journey.
Do you demaroll? If so , did you begin doing it right away or after you saw some progress? Also , when did you start trimming your permanent hair as they grew ? I’m currently trimming my permanent hairs as my journey progresses. Not sure if this will stop the problem areas to grow. I’m assuming as long as I’m not doing a clean shave I’m not cutting whatever is trying to grow.
I used it for 5/6 months. You’ll see a big difference after 3. Now i havent used it for 4 months and i still have the beard but not as full as when i was using minoxidil. 10-20% Will go away and you’ll only see it when you compare your photos
hey so i have a quick question... i’ve heard that using minoxidil can accelerate male pattern baldness but the thing is, male pattern baldness doesn’t run in my family & i’m 18 using minoxidil while taking biotin & collagen supplements to speed the growth of my facial hair journey & also have my skin looking the best it could possibly look... should i worry about male pattern baldness? should i continue my journey?
My cheeks have always grown fast and thick, but I can’t grow a mustache all that well and my chin hasn’t connected. Started 2 days ago. Will be keeping track of progress
Minoxidil works but the long term side effects are not worth it. Also, if you can grow a beard with minoxidil your beard would've eventually started growing without minoxidil. If you don't have a beard at a young age, just wait, it won't make you less manly, lol,.. Beards need time to develop, some men can grow a beard in their teens, other men have to wait until they're in their 40's. I'm 32, 4 years ago i could only grow a moustache and a goatee, now I have a full beard and new hairs are still showing up, without minoxidil. Genetics and time is all you need to grow a beard.
@@matthewdubeau2802 its too young my dude. Most people grew beard when around 20. But if u want them that much wait at least when youre 18 or 19. Because if you start growin when 16 or 17 people will know u used minoxidil and that totally destroy the purpose(to trick ladies into thinking u got good genes and testosteron and they wanna mate u)
I’ve heard some people say it’s really dangerous. Personally, I’ve had no hair loss. My patches filled in even after shaving. I applied the minox on a clean shaven face and a 3 month beard. Worst side effect I’ve felt is fatigue and little change in blood pressure. Next month is when I finish my first year and I’m gonna stop. Despite me being inconsistent (using half a cap of minox) one day or two times a day with breaks. I’ve seen a difference. If you have the genetics and you’re really consistent you can enhance your beard in general. I stared off already with the ability to grow a stubble/ patchy beard and now it’s filled in almost entirely and after I shave I get a kick ass five o clock shadow. I wouldn’t recommend it to someone who is 18 though or below 20. I started when I was 21. I could’ve waited for my beard to grow naturally but I just had to fill in the spots. But now I’m gonna be natural and keep using oils and supplements.
You still getting that? It’s been a while since your comment but you should know that can happen with minoxidil. It’s a side effect for sure, just be careful
I used minoxidil for 3 months and my body got really hairy. I was never a guy with a lot of hair and it felt really weird having these wolverine hands, arms, stomach and back. Also my eyebrows got thicker. So you need to consider those things before using minoxidil.
Jordan Alexo yes check out other people who have been using it to grow a beard and they have stopped for over a year now and there beard hasn't fallen off.
My only question will be after you apply minioxdill on your face ,like as soon as you put it on your face do you have a waiting period ?before you apply the Jamaican castor oil or do you do it the seconds after you applied minoxidil? Yeah
It really does work, I couldn't grow a beard at all until I started using it at 22. Now at 25 i can grow a full beard. No one in family can grow a beard btw.
Surprised people have this issue of growing a beard. I started growing a moustache when I was 13-14?? I think, lmao. No matter how many times I shaved, I'd grow back a beard within a week. I guess it runs in the family since my uncles all have beards. Facial hair can be so annoying to deal with because it can get itchy at times.
@@IGamingStation 😒 Surprised at what? You just said what the real issue was / is for those guys who can't grow a beard when you mentioned your family's genetics so again why are you surprised? Obviously these guys who can't grow good facial hair to include mustaches, sideburns, goatees, or beards don't have the genetics like you or I have so minoxidil is a good choice for them to see and get some good gains. 😑 Get off your high horse bruh.
When I was about 18 I had facial hair but it was everywhere and it wasn’t full no where, had cheek hair wasn’t full, had neck/jaw beard hair that wasn’t full neither until I started using minoxidil. I started in November and got off it February because I got lazy but man my beard looked good bro😂 and mind you my facial hair that I already had before minoxidil grew back fast when I shaved it but when I got on minoxidil it’s like it will just grow back over night, it was kinda insane ngl, I also bought a 0.5 dermaroller in December and used it on and off for 2 months and it definitely helped. I’m back on minoxidil because I want my beard to be full already and I have been consistent with dermarolling twice a week and minoxidil every night. Btw I also shaved my beard off all the time so the liquid could really sink into the skin. I know this paragraph was everywhere but you guys get the point 😂
@Bruma nice bro, you are old enough to try👌🏼 and there’s nothing to be worried about bro, only thing to be worried about is the amount of facial hair you’ll see lmao good luck
Anthony I didnt have acne before and I dont have acne now. Also, the benefit of minoxidil’s effects are basically done after 90 days, dunno y hes going 2 years onnit
Did you try not shaving and growing a beard first for a couple months too see if you could grow a beard? Or did you just start applying it ,cuz maybe it natural. Just too see how much it’s natural vs product! FYI some men keep growing beard hair until there 30-35
@@swagkidm10 naturale i think, i haven't really seen any good brand they're all generic and they don't cost that much at all maybe like 10 dollars for 3 small bottles which last like at least 4 months
Growing a natural full beard is to know what intakes you should eat. This guy trying to promote minioxidle products. And he dismiss the whole issue of natural food , veggies, ingredients and supplements which you should take. This is not beard growing at all. It's an upsale
Not exactly. A diet may help slightly but nearly all of it is down to genetics a lot of the time. Many follicles may remain dormant for a lot of your life, but minoxidil will activate them and promote beard growth. It’s not fake advertising, millions have seen results..
@@sdnan882 I'm sure it can help. But this is not beard growing at all. From early youthful age to prime age one must take those ingredients to grow natural beard. This is a lack of nutrients that many millions of individuals lack of and did not eat properly and now in a desperation to grow a beard. Eat healthy food. That is the first priority! This is what skipped you and many having beard by the time you hit 25 or even 30. You don't need this shit minioxdile.
ScarfaTanious 5 Leave it on for 4 hours and try not to sweat. Sounds imoossible but if you can avoid anything liquid touching you’re face within 4 hours then thats fine.
Truth is if it’s not in your genes you ain’t getting nothing my friends. We get till like 30 33 years of age to see if we will have the full beard sometimes even 35.(i could be wrong some people still grow hair on their face as they get older but by the age where I said you can assume if you will have a full beard later on in life) Am 29 and my beard is still getting better over the years passing. In my avatar here I grow way more hair but I decide todo the line up lower because it doesn’t connect at the top but I’m happy with what I have already. If I grow it out it covers some spots I got. On average most beard guys have spots. It’s rare when someone has a full full beard with no spots but there are men out there that have it.
Did anybody else experience the minoxidil shedding? Cuz I started using it on my beard because I was starting to get patchy spots and it got worse, it looks like it's getting a little better
How old were you before you use it ? I mean honestly I got my beard hair in like a year also .. maybe it was the time to get beard with or without the product
I keep wondering the same thing with alot of these "I took it for ______weeks/months and now I got a full beard!" But your body continues producing new hair up until the age of 25
My man! I heard that there is potential of actual hair loss and thinning on your hair and other places during the use of Minoxidil. Did you get any of that?
Is there a certain amount of minoxidil you put on your face base upon the area you want growth? Like do you use two big foams and spread it all over so you can get it all covered in the area you want growth? I think that if you use one small foam it’s not gonna get all the spots you want covered that’s why I asked
@@shookn once a week with 0.5mm and over. 2-3 times per week with under 0.5mm. I use a .75mm and 3mm but i heard people get best results with 1mm and over. Just wait 12 hours before applying minoxidil if you use a larger needle

Yeah that stuff definitely works. I used it to fill in a patch in the side of my beard and my entire chin area under my lip that wasn't growing at all.
Is that you on your pp ?
Any side effects ?
Yeah my sides when I started growing my beard around 18-19 was patchy but I had a moustache and goatee with sideburns. I've started the treatment today at 28 years. Only because I had a thick beard until a barber shaved my sides where it took a while to fill out from being patchy. Imagine getting over the patchy phase to have a barber not your regular but a second option shave it down lower..... Really pisssed me the fuck off.
Nice progress bro, u always keep it simple and real on ur videos !
mate I grew my beard using Jamaican black castor oil. The rest is history I have a nice full beard. I have been using it on my bald parts of my heard and its helped the hair get thicker.
4 months in. Getting results every month!
Goatee is full now, but still patchy sides....
Yes it dries ur skin, but after 4 hours apply nivea cream with jojoba oil, and it will be ok and soft. 4 hours then wash then moist .
Morning and night routine.
Do use liquid or foam? How many hours between applications? I need some legit help. Thank you very much!
@@NameThatSong1 I use liquid and between aplications it needs to be around 12h. Also u can wash ur face after the absortion time passed (4 hours after applying)
@@cozmin1424 Thanks!
I’m trying it now on day 2. Hope to see results within 6 months. Don’t care but hope it works

How did it go
Bro ?
U alive ?
Yeah you probably werent consistent
This is hands down the best minoxidil video I’ve seen ! Great informative video!
Have you tried a derma roller, and how much has it cost you?
Everything?
I see people who had no hair on their face and now they have full beards. They were definitely using this stuff. I think I’m just gonna try to let it go the natural way because I’m getting some decent hair gains naturally.
@FeedMeMoreZone so if you're balding on your head, this won't work?
@FeedMeMoreZone so basically it's a waste of time and I have no hope
@FeedMeMoreZone Yeah but everybody dont look right bald. My hair was 1 of my better features. I was just wondering if I jump on it bc early, did I have a chance on saving my hair. This is very depressing
@FeedMeMoreZone actually I'm severely visually disabled. I also suffered 3rd degree burns over half of my body. Very ugly scars.
david the real thomas my hair was thinning and i was losing a lot until i started using biotin shampoo, conditioner, pills, and castor oil. That was the solution for me
No cap Austin you looking hella swole, like you finna rip that shirt my dude
😂😂
Wanna make out?
No cap u wanna smooch him
That's because he works out obviously
you mean no-hom0? 🤣
the great thing about minoxidil for beards is the fact that growth after the hairs follicles become full grown is permanent.
I grew a beard from this in 6 months
Why am I watching this, I can grow a full Rick Ross beard naturally lol
TheReal McCoy same😂
I'm rockin the full beard look rn.
pricks😪
Same lol
And my goose lays gold eggs😉
How old were you when you started ? & did you lose any head hair on the journey ? I’m 21 & thinking of starting minoxidil
Did you start
the sad music kills me everytime lml. keep up the videos kid
Back when I was in college me and my friend decided to play a prank on his roommate, every night we would put Minoxidil in between his eyebrows when was sleeping, after a few months he grew a unibrow
that´s cruel
@@anfibisimo 😂😂😂
Now that's determination lol
This never happened
That's the Justin way ma mannn!! 😎😎😎😂😂😂
You need a healthy diet, reduce stress and hydrate to reduce side effects.
Dude the sad music at 30seconds had me 🤣🤣🤣
they say that the liquid one provides a better outcome...but it is a bit more trying than the foam....so if you can oversee the dryness, you could see even better results and faster using the liquid form.
Damn...Rick Ross made him do it
FOREVER CHAMP TV
Exactly the person who came to mind
2 month on minoxidil 5% with the derma roller amazing results but my skin became so dry that’s why I used bio coconut oil
which mark bro and do u recommend if u have patchy moustaches?
0:30 the music😂 love it
I keep seeing people that have somewhat of a beard.
I’m assuming as long as I’m not doing a clean shave I’m not cutting whatever is trying to grow.
biotina too
I used it for 5/6 months. You’ll see a big difference after 3. Now i havent used it for 4 months and i still have the beard but not as full as when i was using minoxidil. 10-20% Will go away and you’ll only see it when you compare your photos
how long had u been using it before stopping
Idk y I thought this was for acne
hey so i have a quick question... i’ve heard that using minoxidil can accelerate male pattern baldness but the thing is, male pattern baldness doesn’t run in my family & i’m 18 using minoxidil while taking biotin & collagen supplements to speed the growth of my facial hair journey & also have my skin looking the best it could possibly look... should i worry about male pattern baldness? should i continue my journey?
Lmao ur 18 chill down too soon for beard.
Did you get hair growth anywhere else or did it stay local?
My cheeks have always grown fast and thick, but I can’t grow a mustache all that well and my chin hasn’t connected. Started 2 days ago. Will be keeping track of progress
How’s it going so far ?
@@JOE-DRIZZY Amazing! Been seeing so much progress.
Great video man and good job. Maybe there is hope for some of us beard hunters. Haha
Was applying last year to my chin strap wasn’t no major result until this year but my hair still grow slow
I’m 16 and mine just came in today! Can’t wait to see the progress I get
Bro, you're young as heck. Wait a couple years before using these kinds of products.
@@johnnybravo3024 Well I'm 17 in a month so it's not like I'm using it at 13
@@matthewdubeau2802 post a video of your journey ✌
Matt but still you should it time to naturally grow
But now I’m gonna be natural and keep using oils and supplements.
did you use the foam or the liquid for your patchy bears
tyrone foam
It promotes hair growth so it wouldnt make u bald, it can n cause shedding for a lil but not for long

I tried this stuff but my heart started pounding like crazy all the time and I got scared.
It went away when I stopped.
Is it normal?
You still getting that? It’s been a while since your comment but you should know that can happen with minoxidil. It’s a side effect for sure, just be careful
I used minoxidil for 3 months and my body got really hairy. I was never a guy with a lot of hair and it felt really weird having these wolverine hands, arms, stomach and back. Also my eyebrows got thicker. So you need to consider those things before using minoxidil.
Sounds like a win to me
Thanks for the video. But if you stopped using it... would you still maintain your beard?
Jordan Alexo yes check out other people who have been using it to grow a beard and they have stopped for over a year now and there beard hasn't fallen off.

Update
Can I use this for my eye brows ?
Any update?
I grew crazy dry skin when I used minoxidil for 2 months. Kinda regret it
Do you stil have dry skin or did it go away after awhile of not using it?
@@thijsg8549 my skin is clear now. I would say your skin will be clear after 2 months of not using minox
My only question will be after you apply minioxdill on your face ,like as soon as you put it on your face do you have a waiting period ?before you apply the Jamaican castor oil or do you do it the seconds after you applied minoxidil? Yeah
I’m wondering this too. I believe you apply it after 1-2 hrs to wait for it to absorb fully
Facial hair can be so annoying to deal with because it can get itchy at times.
do you sit there at christmas dinner cussing your old man for not being able to grow a beard lol
@@TheJeneralJU-ICE that’s sad
Im lucky my beard is cleaner than drakes
my little brother had 1 hair on his chin :P he has used minox for 1 year now. now he has full beard hehehe. and thick too.
Math now your brother is using minoxidil or gradually stopped?
can it also change the color of your beard from brown to black?
Supreme Thottery no
I had 1 hair for a while now I have a few lmao. Rough. Especially when you grow out that one hair lmao
Also I got heart palpitations "having some right now lmao" lots of dry skin on my whole beard and yea that’s about it
Also did I used the liquid and applied it once at night and had great gains and washed it off in the morning.
@Bruma nice bro, you are old enough to try👌🏼 and there’s nothing to be worried about bro, only thing to be worried about is the amount of facial hair you’ll see lmao good luck
Did you experience any hair loss afterwards? and what about when to moisturize
Ive noticed that almost all minoxidil users have acne problems is that a side effect???
Anthony I didnt have acne before and I dont have acne now. Also, the benefit of minoxidil’s effects are basically done after 90 days, dunno y hes going 2 years onnit
Started my journey 2 months ago. Feel free to ask me some questions if you have any.
one question though: When you where younger, did you have a problem with acne? and did you "pop the Zit" as soon as they appeared?
Marcus Aurelius try not to pop your pimples too much cause it’ll just cause more damage to your face
Did you try not shaving and growing a beard first for a couple months too see if you could grow a beard? Or did you just start applying it ,cuz maybe it natural. Just too see how much it’s natural vs product! FYI some men keep growing beard hair until there 30-35
true but why not if it fortunately caused no side effects.. looks good on em
Just started using it and man it definitely does dry your face lol
Collagen can fix all dt
You need a Jamaican castor oil to moisturize your skin after applying minoxidil
The perfect combination is minoxidil foam and when it dries apply some bergamot oil, it does miracles.
@@alexgallegos6777 which brand of bergamot oil would you recommend? I want to start this journey and I've seen that foam is the way to go.
3:47 Austin that English😲😵
Does the liquid minoxidil work as well as the foam? Or is it all the same
Can you apply and workout straight away? not sure if sweat would have an impact soon after application. Thanks.
No it should be left on for 4 hrs minimum
Thanks russel Wilson
Did anybody else experience the minoxidil shedding? Cuz I started using it on my beard because I was starting to get patchy spots and it got worse, it looks like it's getting a little better
How old were you before you use it ? I mean honestly I got my beard hair in like a year also .. maybe it was the time to get beard with or without the product
Yeah but how old are you?
I keep wondering the same thing with alot of these "I took it for ______weeks/months and now I got a full beard!" But your body continues producing new hair up until the age of 25
My man! I heard that there is potential of actual hair loss and thinning on your hair and other places during the use of Minoxidil. Did you get any of that?
No
NomadicStyle who said that?
That's temporary, itll regrow
Would you recommend trimming down after 3 months or keep trimming every week or 2 like other minoxidil users
It doesn't really matter, but the shorter the hair you have, the easier it is for you to absorb the minoxidil where you need to.
I used to trim regularly so the minox can absorb better. But I let my beard grow out and that’s when I’ve seen the most gains
Best way to grow beards is to not shave or trim unroll the fully take their natural shape cuz some areas grow slow just make sure you got follicles
Is there a certain amount of minoxidil you put on your face base upon the area you want growth? Like do you use two big foams and spread it all over so you can get it all covered in the area you want growth? I think that if you use one small foam it’s not gonna get all the spots you want covered that’s why I asked
half a cap is 1ml thats more than enough twice a day
Use a dermaroller with minoxidil to see 2x the results 2x as fast
Brandon Evans how many times a week??
@@shookn once a week with 0.5mm and over. 2-3 times per week with under 0.5mm. I use a .75mm and 3mm but i heard people get best results with 1mm and over. Just wait 12 hours before applying minoxidil if you use a larger needle
Getting minoixidil in your blood stream is a big fucking no no and so using a dermaroller in conjunction with the medication is not advisable.
Brosse Why?
@@kpjlflsknflksnflknsa Fucking hell, right? I'm already skeptical about this shit, it seems too good to be true, and it doesn't seem there's much research into long term usage just like most of these things. Having this in your blood stream just sounds scary in itself.
I can't use it Every day I have bad side effects when I use it every day. I use it 5/6 days a week long as I leave the 1/2 days I'm fine. Like tonight I'm drinking I won't use it I only have a small section to complete my beard. I will use rice water tonight and growth oils.
I used minoxidil for about 2 months. Then my nose startet bleeding from time to time. Probably bc it increases blood flow. I stoped using it after, but my facial hair grew a lot within this time, still some patches left.
