I had to wait for more than an hour to get immigration clearance that too with 2 kids! landed the airport at 12.45 AM and came out of the airport by 3.
So just to be clear - a glass structure in one of the hottest regions on the planet. I wonder how much thought of sustainability and environmental impact went into its design. Tons of glass, steel, and concrete for an airport which could be anywhere - where’s the vibe or soul of Abu Dhabi in this structure? I don’t see it, but maybe it’s there somewhere. There are new airports and terminals which do have the feel of where they are - Bangalore, Singapore, and, to a certain degree, Istanbul do. This one doesn’t.
Dubai Airport is older with Older Structures and It's so congested. Still prefer Abu Dhabi Airport for most peaceful and yet Beautiful Airport in the world
