For years, I have owned and used two 9mm Taurus handguns. PT 92 AFS (stainless) PT 99 AF Both have been reliable, durable, and accurate. One feature I really like is the 5-inch barrel.
That can happen to any gun. Low charge Round.Ammo fault. Not gun fault. Common in black powder but pretty rare in manufactured ammo. Just chalk it down to experience.
Since is new I’m not sure what the issue might be. But try lubricating it, if it keeps jamming after lubrication. Then have a gun smith or any gun store check it out.
