In 2006, 2024 & beyond Pluto will always be a planet and can never be demoted. It is the planet of transformation…Take flight!
As an astrologer, I agree. Pluto is so important in astrology, that we will always see him as a planet. I love that there were even protests n the US called "Pluto is a Planet!"...*)))
New Horizons spacecraft was launched in January 2006, and flew by Pluto in July 2015 (and has already sent us all those gorgeous pics!!) So I estimate this video was created late 2006 or early 2007....about 17 years ago! Kind of dated.
I was wondering too. I saw 2008 in the credits as the film year. Kinda be cool to know where exactly New Horizons is now...

It's fascinating to think that Pluto might have complex features like underground oceans or geysers. Discovering these could really change our understanding of the solar system
I didn't realize this doc was so old, there are videos of with the "new horizons" probe images of pluto and those are mind blowing, better than most starwars planets! enjoy!

Pluto, of course, is pronounced, 'Pludo'. IOW, the 't' is rounded off and loses its snap, or crust if you will, and becomes more of a bongo than a hi-hat.
Planet X isnt resolved yet. Now it is thought we might have an small qantum singularity in the outer edges of our solarsystem.

There is no life, primitive or otherwise, on Pluto. Io is the third largest moon of Jupiter, not the largest (as others have also pointed out.)
