Something interesting: When L talks about monsters that always tell lies, he says, "they pose as humans even though they have no understanding of the human heart." And then you can see someone who resembles a younger version of L, baggy white shirt, messy black hair, crouched walking... Thereby insinuating that particular line is about L. No understanding of the human heart.. That could easily explain why he was constantly conflicted with Light. His first real friend. He then says, "They eat even though they've never experienced hunger." And then you see a kid sitting alone with the same hair as Mello, so you could assume that's about Mello. You can read into it and say that his chocolate addiction is less about chocolate and more about satisfying a compulsion. Then he says, "They study even though they have no interest in academics." You now see Near which makes you wonder if that's why he constantly needs to have entertainment, like a toy around at all times. Is it because he has no interest in the case. Was he doing it just to avenge L? Or are toys just another compulsion. Then finally, "They seek friendship even though they do not know how to love." You see a little boy lending his hand and the little boy has the same hairstyle and same hair colour as Light. Light showed little love through out the story, except for when Sayu and his father are threatened, even then he says that if he has to he will kill them. He was a genius with loving friends, family members, and lovers, yet he was so unsympathetic. Did killing turn into something he did just to invoke some kind of feeling? Some kind of absence in his soul? Of course not he wanted to make the world a better place.. But without the ability to see love, would the world have ever been good enough for Light? And of course he ends by saying he is a lying monster, so do all of these apply to L? He has no understanding of the human heart. He constantly eats sweets but is never hungry. No interest in academics. Does not know how to love. Does he just shares these attributes with Near, Mello, and Light, or is he the reason they are embedded into them? If he would be eaten by a monster such as himself, why surround himself with people like him? Was that the reason for his downfall? He can analyze everyone but himself. It's super interesting to hear about the characteristics you can't see, ones about their inner self. The ones that fuel their personality and make them so unique. It really makes you re-think the characters you thought you knew so well.
+Charlie S. Day That's an interesting analysis. Just to add to this I see Light in all the scenes. If you look carefully, you see him in all of them. It fits as well. Light was the best monster out of all four. No one ever perceived him as odd. He strikes everyone as a normal guy. He's the best liar among them.
+Charlie S. Day Yes, I also recognized L in the "they pose as humans even though they have no understanding of the human heart." part. but if you look on the table to the left in the "They eat even though they've never experienced hunger." part, you can see Mello siting by himself wile eating, and you can se N in the "They study even though they have no interest in academics." part. Near sitting in the background on a chear wile he looking at a pc-screen... and in the last "They seek friendship even though they do not know how to love." part, I think the guy giving a helping hand is sepose to be Light.
Does no else see light in all these scenes. There's someone who always has similar hair to him. If it's true it would also add to the statement that lying monsters are the most terrifying as he was the best out of all of them. He defeated L. He would defeated Mello and Near, but they worked together to defeat him.
@s kaif no Psychopaths have no empathy Light has empathy becos he values his family and justice L has some level of morality as he doesnt want millions of people dying They both can be classed as sociopaths
@s kaif he didnt his dad volunteered to take the eyes Also he hesitated to kill sayu and ended up not doing it Also if u read data book it says light cared deeply about his family as he thought they were good people
@s kaif light killed criminals not just people he didnt like Also you should look up the difference between a psychopath and a sociopath Becos what u r describing rn are the symptoms of a sociopath Psychopaths have no emotion at all Light clearly feels emotion as he even questions himself in ep 1 And he also hesitates to kill his sister
@@yourdailytoilet5962 It was also largely also due to him not wanting to kill his own sister. The task force reason was Lights way of talking himself out of it and finding a pragmatic excuse not to kill Sayu.
Monsters who will not show themselves and cause trouble: Near Monsters who abduct children: Mello Monsters who devour dreams: Ryuk Monsters who suck blood: Beyond Birthday And monsters who always tell lies: L and Light
Manipulative people Pedophiles Envious people Parasitic people Psychopaths. Psychopaths are a mix of all monsters in this world. They can manipulate, abduct. devour, suck blood and tell lies. I always thought that this was the meaning behind. But now I can see it in another light. Thanks.
I don't think anything of what we said is actually wrong. There is no right answer to an interpretation. That's why that quote is so good, actually. We may never know with absolute certainty what L meant, but, we all can get something about what he said.
I wonder if L likes himself.. He works to save people, and solve mysteries, but how does he feel about himself? I feel like he sees himself in a negative light, and works to solve crimes in order to compensate.
If the Myers-Briggs test actually holds any water L would likely be a INTP type or Logician. They are brilliant but also get lost in themselves, depression and anxiety are often prone in members of such a personality type. So to answer your question, deep down he would of been a very broken soul. Late response I know but I couldn't help myself.
@@Rift93 even later response, but as an INTP myself this is very accurate. I always related to Light and L in death note because we both spend our free times thinking about how rotten the world is and end up getting lost in it.
And then comes in Light Yagami who: is a heartless murderer posing as a regular high school student, gains knowledge only to pursue divine control of society, befriends people only to manipulate them to his will, and ate potato chips just so he could kill more people
he was not like that from the beginning. he was changed after his second kill. And again changed when he decided to kill the fake L on the news. death note itself is a curse. too much power is not a blessing, its a curse. No person can handle it.
@@KamalSharma-kc6zc True. It's like Soichiro Yagami said, "It is the power to kill that is evil, not the person. To have that power is a misfortune. Happiness achieved through murdering people cannot be true happiness." Also, when Light loses his memories, he is generally more considerate and caring about others, especially his family, and refuses to manipulate others for the benefit of the investigation. Also, he genuinely sees Kira as evil and wants to catch Kira. I think this drastic change in Light's personality after forfeiting ownership of the Death Note is meant to show readers/viewers just how profoundly the power of the Death Note corrupted him, and how such profound power can corrupt anybody.
@@KamalSharma-kc6zc true I think light would not be like and not become a murderer he will be a normal person if he doesn't have the death note but he became a criminal and heart less murderer bc of the death note
People interpret this scene way too literally, as if they are direct statements about the characters. But I think this speech is about something more universal. He isn't saying that just him or Light are monsters, but that everyone is monster, a stranger in this world.
This deduction is blatantly wrong, when you factor in the obvious context. "Why was L defeated?" This implies that L met that lying monster and was devoured. Who could that be? Well I'd cast my vote for Light. And he stated in said quote that he is that monster. The other types of monsters could appeal to the children's fantasies or previous cases he has worked.
There are many types of monsters in this world... Monsters who ruin perfectly good animes, monsters who shitpost, monsters who throw shade, monsters who thot hard, And monsters who always post memes....
And monsters who always remake things... Remake monsters are a real nuisance. They are much more greedy than other monsters. They create even though they do not love. They pass themes even though they do not understand them. They make things live action even though animated is fine. They add gore even though all you need is intelligence. If I were to encounter such a monster, I would likely be eaten by it. ... Because in truth, they freaking ruined my character, *L snickers* but not as bad as Light.
There are many types of lobsters in this world. Lobsters who will not show themselves and who cause trouble. Lobsters who abduct children, lobsters who devour dreams, lobsters who suck blood, and lobsters who always tell lies. Lying lobsters are a real nuisance. They are much more cunning than other lobsters. They pose as humans even though they have no understanding of the human heart. They eat even though they've never experienced hunger. They study even though they have no interest in academics. They seek friendship even though they do not know how to love. If I were to encounter such a lobster, I'd most likely be eaten by it, because in truth, I am that lobster.
What if you substitute the word "monster" with the whole script? There are many types of "there are many types of monsters in this world, monsters who will not show themselves.............i am that monster" in this world. And so on.
Okay, so I was reading the actual quote, and it turned out like this. I was beyond embarrassed, because it was a near fail. I acted mello-w regardless (( I'll see myself out))
We also have to take into account, that this is a flashback from Near's memory. He asked: Why was L defeated. And then L said if I were to encounter such a Monster - I would be eating by it. I think this is when Near got the insight (Intuition), that L's enemy is on L's level(Kira) That's why Near was so confident about Light Yagami being Kira and the second L. Also Near has the personality type INTJ(Mastermind), the INTJ which is dominantly an intuitive type using the function called introverted intuition to contrast that with L, L is an INTP(Logician), which means he is dominantly a thinking type. INTJs are more about strategy and executing their plans (see also Light which is an ENTJ extroverted version of Near). While INTPs (L) are more about understanding and deduction. Nevertheless, all INTJ and INTP types are considered gifted and statistically speaking on the higher end of the IQ scale (bell curve). I find it absolutely stunning how the writer captured the essence of these genius types. The writer must either be one of this types or have observed people very carefully in real life. I suspect it's the first one, since the story is pretty much genius.
@@nirjhar4803 I don't believe so, L shows textbook INTP traits on how he comes up with alot of theories and even second guessing himself alot, while Near is mostly set on one, also L has very quirky traits like intps. Near (Intj)tends to use Ni and have one main strategy and then uses Te to help execute it while L draws out multiple theories until one has 100% proof, thats why Near didn't think of the fake notebook theory cause intj mindset on one set gameplan
This just started exactly like a pdb comment, and then I saw you start to mention intuition... and then you started mentioning their mbti types.. I'm too addicted to this stuff.

This is so good and I`m overwhelmed with feelings when i realtize how this perfectly fits with the message of the Anime "Monster". If you dont know it, watch it !
Eru Roraito Yes, I relieves that I'm not the one who realize that fact. Johan pretty much match these description of "monsters". He devours dream of adults and children , always tell nothing but lies. He pretended to knew their feeling despite himself couldn't even feel that way. All of it just proves that he is also the types of "monsters" that L talking. And about words "If I were to encounter such a monster, I would likely be eaten by it....Because in truth, I am that monster.", during the series, people believe that Johan is the real "monster", but in truth, that "monster" itself is actually every humans's dark side.
odelia anna Couldn't put it better myself. There is a Monster in each and every one of us. It awakens, whenever our minds get cloudy and controlled by hatred and anger. Whenever there are people, who encounter us with truly dark and evil abysses. Light wasn't evil at all. It was the injustice and the oppurtunity to do something about it using the death note that tempted him to do so. Same goes for Johann: His Experiences in Kinderheim 511 and the fact, that he never experienced love made him a loveless callous killer. These two Animes are almost the only ones, who don't just display a black-and-white good and evil battle scenario. They tell realistic stories of how even the most light-hearted people can be dangerous. Silphet Gaming To answer your question: Absolutely YES. Each Episode is an important part of the Big Picture in the Ending. Also Monster has the best character development in anime history. To truly sympathize with Tenma in his final Encounter with Johann, we needed to take this journey with him.
He basically just described the entire series in that one line... “If I were to encounter such a monster I would likely be eaten by it, because in truth *I am that monster* “ The monster he is referring to is Light, but he is too a liar and was defeated by him

So obviously everyone sees light for the first line, mellow the 2nd line, near the 3rd and light the fourth. HOWEVER, all 4 lines are strongly present in both light and L, For L, he doesn't have friends before light, he always eats sweets constantly, he seeks friends, but doesn't know how to hence light being his first and only, and L really never wanted to become the smartest detective, it was placed on him as an orphan. The same goes for light as he never understands the human heart because he is greedy and ambitious, (he uses people like misa), he "eats" metaphorically speaking by quenching this hungry desire to be a god with murdering people, he seeks friendship with many, but he is truly blind to how a heart works as we see how he manipulates feelings of others, and he doesn't really care for studying, he was just smart and only studied because it was whatever, and to make himself normal while he was being investigated as a high school student. This is my interpretation lol
No L was a detective since he was 8 years old to quench his thirst of solving difficult puzzles. Read the manga special Wammy's house. Seriously, he wasn't trained to be a detective, he became one all on his own.
sarah kolakowski He solved them out of boredom, which explains why he only engaged in cases he had interest in. He didn’t solve them because he genuinely cared for the people, he just enjoyed the challenge and the feeling of victory, while ultimately favoring the world at the same time.
L was never friends with Light, or even wanted to be friends IMO. He was just telling that to Light in order to see Lights reactions, whether he has morals into killing L or not
I love L, even if he is a monster. Actually, I think he is a little different then what he thinks himself to be. And I wonder what I am. Is it that I am a monster?
The fun thing about Death Note is that the human characters are bigger monsters than the 8 foot tall gods of death. The shinigami are often times comic relief.
@@GestaX Two psychologists from my country made a video analyzing L and he fell into almost every category of a high functioning autistic. This would explain his apparent lack of empathy and social inadequacy, his difficulty in understanding feelings, repetitive behaviors, routine rigidity, hyperfocus on something, and even inability to dress himself without watari's help (as shown in the one shot "One Day"). So yeah, not a sociopath, much less a psychopath.
Notice how as he is talking about the different types of monsters, he first shows himself, then Mello, then Near, and finally a young boy that resembles and most likely is Light.
The Lying Monster is "The Psychopath". They pretend to be normal even though they aren't. They pretend to like something even though they do not. They pretend to be people they aren't. Light is "The Psychopath". Even before the Death Note, Light was never acting how he felt, he just went through the motions of life and what was expected of him. It's why he was so bored. Light was mentally ill even before the Death Note, he was a man trapped in his own mind. It's probably why becoming Kira was so easy for him. In this era, where people don't understand mental illness, try and think of this; Is the power Light felt when he got the Death Note, all that different from when a shooter finds a gun for a massacre? As Batman said; "Guns have the power to change lives...its the power of God"".
There is BB (Beyond Birthday) L 's first successor. Who is standing like L in the room and looks like L .and BB is 2nd smartest character but he died . And near became L's successor.
+Sal Luna shinigami did kill L in the anime and the manga he is probably talking about that retarded movie anyway L had to die only way light could be the God of the new world
this is just perfect istg- the speech is so deep and interesting and his voice is literally like SO PERFECT. i can't describe it- it's just music literally so smooth and pretty i can't. and the music in the background- and pictures of wammy's house. why do i keep coming back here?
This scene honestly made me reflect, its so freaky how different yet how similar L and light are to one another. This speech is what defined it to me, if light wasn't Kira he would have been the true Sucessor to L. After every rewatch, L's Death hit harder and harder for me, Damn good character.
I think that the "monsters who tell lies" part is an amazing wink from the author to L and Light's relationship, specially the last part, when L says that he would be eaten by such a monster because, in reality, he is that monster. I think it is a cool way to say that, since he is the "worst" kind of monster, he could only be beaten by someone like him. Some like Light, who after obtaining the death note became a monster, a lying monster (since he was always lying to hide the fact that he is Kira). By the moment L's death was about to happen, they both had the characteristics of lying monsters and finally, as L said, he was eaten by the lying monster who in fact was exactly like him. (Sorry for my bad English, but I really wanted to share this
When I watched the anime, I was so touched by L's words, that I didn't see the guy from the pictures ( 1:28 and 1:47) who looks exactly like L. Could it be... Beyond Birthday?
It make sense since their line is "the poses as a human withou having a understand a human heart", Beyond posed like a human for several years before actually showing his real face
Death note author was really something. You need a same level of IQ to as a character in story to visualize the direction of story. I am not saying that author Tsugumi Ohba is damn God level intelligent but to think that he can visualize this type of story place him on another level than us.
In this speech, L says that he's the most dangerous monster in the world, and therefore anything that could scare him would have to be almost just like him.
1:37 I feel like he's talking about me. I don't study because I like my textbooks; I study to satisfy my ego, to prove someone wrong over an argument. But that just might be the case with every student.
For people who haven’t noticed 1:29 the guy in the background with a white t-shirt and black hair is L 1:34 there’s Light eating in front of the blonde boy, and the guy on the other table on the left is Mello (you can see he’s eating chocolate lmao) 1:38 the guy studying with white hair is Near Also, it’s kinda funny that L has actually been eaten by « that type of monster »
I really love that last sound with Near placing his toy in the ground, Idk but it really goes with the vibe of the L's theme music and his monster speech

I loved listening to this speech, and sometimes even considered myself one of those lying monsters.. but.. Now, when I met a real lying monster... This speech.. Hits different. Those monsters are real. If they're near you, you can never tell that, they can be even your closest and most loved ones, who you know for years, who you trust fully and even if you think they trust yoy fully. They can pretend to love, to be a best person for you, so you'll like them so they can use you for their own purposes. And what happens when they get sick of you? They abandon you, they throw you in the trash, never letting you know, what they actually was doing this whole time. Never letting you know that they just used you as they please. I had a fortune.. Or a misfortune.. Can't say really, to learn it about the one I loved. Maybe it would be better for me to tell lies about horrible I was, which she did to hurt me, so I'll go away and kill myself, than to hear the truth , that almost a year of relationship, all the best time in my life, everything which happened between us was no more than a lie, a character she played to satisfy me the most, so she can feel how it feels to be loved. Beware of those monsters because, they're amongst us

im gonna be honest. i have never heard anybody say that death note is bad because its old. if you heard somebody say that then you are talkin to some weird people bro
If you look closely and pause you can see Beyond Birthday on 1:01 on the top left I came up with this assumption because all of the successors or in fact all the best ones are either standing up or separate and the dude that looks like L is standing up during this moment.
i love how the little boy who's walking away and the other boy who seems to be running after him at 1:28 look like l and light respectively just as l is talking about monsters posing as humans.
I knew that guy looked like L but I didn't know there was an actual story about him. He's beyond birthday, a guy who looks very similar to L and was one of the orphans in line to succeed him
I saw a comment stating that the monster who seeks friendship even though they do not know how to live was reffering to Light, and I agreed to a certain extent But then, with the knoweledge that this still could have been in the Wammy's House and we see L and his sucsessors, I deduce that 1:41 is Beyond Birthday and possibly even A Heck, I have a headcanon that there's a possibility that BB conviced A to kill himself.
I just realized Light is in every image of the flashes. I have watched this scene many times throughout the years but only now noticed it. In the first pic small light is running behind small L (or beyond birthday? However u interpret who that figure similar to L is), light is at the table next to mello among the other children, he’s grabbing a book from the shelf next to near, and he is the one offering a hand in the final image. I think it makes sense because as L said there are many monsters, but the lying monsters are the scariest since they can encompass all the traits of all the other monsters simultaneously while looking completely normal or innocent. They can even blend in among other monsters like the small light esque figure did in these flashes. They can lie, kill, outsmart, and manipulate beyond the norm. They simply act normal. L and Light both do this and both encompass the traits of all the “lesser” monsters along with many more. Light and L both don’t truly understand the human heart since they are so detached and intelligent (like near), they eat although they don’t experience true hunger as if they are inhuman and probably just do it out of compulsion sometimes (whether eating literally like Mello or devouring life like BB), they are generally aloof and uninterested in general life activities such as basic studies because they think in such a way beyond them (also like near), and they both pose as normal people yet struggle to truly understand love or other emotions most grasp more easily. Their intelligence and thinking detaches them from most things. They understand things on a psychological and fundamental level due to their intelligence, yet when it comes to deep emotions sometimes they can’t truly understand due to lack of experience which is once again due to their vast intelligence and personalities that cause detachment. L probably struggles with love and light definitely struggles with empathy. Both light and L are lying monsters but in different ways. L is more neutral and caring in his practices and uses his abilities for good while light is more selfish and sadistic and uses his abilities for selfish gain and evil. They both also oftentimes wear a mask to hide this side of themselves. That is what makes them different than the ordinary monster like Mello, Near, or BB. L and Light can observe, lie, and manipulate to such a degree they can do almost anything they set their mind to and blend in perfectly with whatever they choose should they wish. Light poses as a perfect caring school student when he is actually a cold killer wanting to be god and L oftentimes shows himself as an awkward clutz to hide his identity or intentions when he is actually an ace detective with a very stable sense of reality as well as sharp memory. They both may also lie to protect themselves because despite being so intelligent and powerful, in the end they are human with human weaknesses and fears. Light is afraid of losing control and superiority while it seems L is afraid of falling down the same path as Light, or in other words is afraid of his own darkness and becoming a darker monster. This detachment makes them immensely powerful because how can you strike an enemy you can’t see or an enemy who knows your every move? Lying monsters can do it all and encompass the traits of many other “monsters” such as Mello, Near, and even beyond birthday while also hiding in plain sight. They oftentimes devour, live aloof, or trample upon others; sometimes even all three. Lying monsters have the potential to be the most deadly by far (and in some cases do the most good) and are so good at lying to the world, and even themselves sometimes, that they can exist amongst others and never be noticed for what they truly are
L's voice is class.

True. Especially that seeking friendship part-you know, Misa and Light. Who only betrayed him. And made him die. Ha. Ha.
Wise Wolf I made all those observations, yes.
Does no else see light in all these scenes. There's someone who always has similar hair to him. If it's true it would also add to the statement that lying monsters are the most terrifying as he was the best out of all of them. He defeated L. He would defeated Mello and Near, but they worked together to defeat him.
A very deep understanding of our world is somehow embedded into this little speech. It is quite incredible.
@s kaif no
Psychopaths have no empathy
Light has empathy becos he values his family and justice
L has some level of morality as he doesnt want millions of people dying
They both can be classed as sociopaths
@s kaif he didnt
his dad volunteered to take the eyes
Also he hesitated to kill sayu and ended up not doing it
Also if u read data book it says light cared deeply about his family as he thought they were good people
@s kaif light killed criminals not just people he didnt like
Also you should look up the difference between a psychopath and a sociopath
Becos what u r describing rn are the symptoms of a sociopath
Psychopaths have no emotion at all
Light clearly feels emotion as he even questions himself in ep 1
And he also hesitates to kill his sister
@@Ash_10005 he hesitated because if he did, they know that Kira is part of the task force.
@@yourdailytoilet5962 It was also largely also due to him not wanting to kill his own sister. The task force reason was Lights way of talking himself out of it and finding a pragmatic excuse not to kill Sayu.
Monsters who will not show themselves and cause trouble: Near
Monsters who abduct children: Mello
Monsters who devour dreams: Ryuk
Monsters who suck blood: Beyond Birthday
And monsters who always tell lies: L and Light
It makes so much sense now..
Manipulative people
Pedophiles
Envious people
Parasitic people
Psychopaths.
Psychopaths are a mix of all monsters in this world. They can manipulate, abduct. devour, suck blood and tell lies. I always thought that this was the meaning behind. But now I can see it in another light. Thanks.
uh no he was speaking only about himself
Kaneki Ken Doesn't mean the descriptions don't fit.
I don't think anything of what we said is actually wrong. There is no right answer to an interpretation. That's why that quote is so good, actually. We may never know with absolute certainty what L meant, but, we all can get something about what he said.
L's voice just hits. The voice actor did cracy amazing on this.
He is an amazing voice actor
I wonder if L likes himself..
He works to save people, and solve mysteries, but how does he feel about himself? I feel like he sees himself in a negative light, and works to solve crimes in order to compensate.
If the Myers-Briggs test actually holds any water L would likely be a INTP type or Logician. They are brilliant but also get lost in themselves, depression and anxiety are often prone in members of such a personality type. So to answer your question, deep down he would of been a very broken soul. Late response I know but I couldn't help myself.
@@Rift93 this makes me appreciate L more. In terms of relatableness to myself as well as realistic.
@@Rift93 even later response, but as an INTP myself this is very accurate. I always related to Light and L in death note because we both spend our free times thinking about how rotten the world is and end up getting lost in it.
@@ismaelnehme379 Same here as an INTJ.
Can anyone tell what is INTP and INTJ?
And then comes in Light Yagami who:
is a heartless murderer posing as a regular high school student,
gains knowledge only to pursue divine control of society,
befriends people only to manipulate them to his will,
and ate potato chips just so he could kill more people
he was not like that from the beginning. he was changed after his second kill.
Happiness achieved through murdering people cannot be true happiness."
Also, when Light loses his memories, he is generally more considerate and caring about others, especially his family, and refuses to manipulate others for the benefit of the investigation.

Really? It gave you chills, did it?
People interpret this scene way too literally, as if they are direct statements about the characters. But I think this speech is about something more universal. He isn't saying that just him or Light are monsters, but that everyone is monster, a stranger in this world.
Exactly
Precisely.
This deduction is blatantly wrong, when you factor in the obvious context.
"Why was L defeated?"
This implies that L met that lying monster and was devoured.
Who could that be? Well I'd cast my vote for Light.
And he stated in said quote that he is that monster.
The other types of monsters could appeal to the children's fantasies or previous cases he has worked.
They are direct statements though it literally shows all the characters when he's talking about what lying monsters do lol

Remake monsters are a real nuisance.
They are much more greedy than other monsters.
They create even though they do not love.

They make things live action even though animated is fine.
They add gore even though all you need is intelligence.

Watching this as a an adult, you begin to realize who the true monsters are.
We also have to take into account, that this is a flashback from Near's memory. He asked: Why was L defeated. And then L said if I were to encounter such a Monster - I would be eating by it.
I think this is when Near got the insight (Intuition), that L's enemy is on L's level(Kira)
That's why Near was so confident about Light Yagami being Kira and the second L.
This may have been 3 years ago but I believe L is an INTJ while Near's an INTP, tbh...
Nice, first person I’ve seen to type all of them that way, which I think is correct, Ryuk seems ENTP so it has all the NTs.
Nirjhar Dutta Really why ?

I liked Monster SO MUCH, can I ask you though. Do you really feel like the ending paid off all those episodes of mystery?

So obviously everyone sees light for the first line, mellow the 2nd line, near the 3rd and light the fourth. HOWEVER, all 4 lines are strongly present in both light and L,
For L, he doesn't have friends before light, he always eats sweets constantly, he seeks friends, but doesn't know how to hence light being his first and only, and L really never wanted to become the smartest detective, it was placed on him as an orphan.

That's what the author stated as well
A very deep and thought-provoking speech
L said if he encounters such monster he will likely been eaten by it
which is exactly what happened when he encountered LIGHT

FOR EVERYBODY WONDERING THIS IS FROM DEATH NOTE Rewrite IDK WHERE TO WACH IT
what episode?
@@alexiamunoz5549 it's a movie
@@alexiamunoz5549 called death note rewrite
If you look closely and pause you can see Beyond Birthday on 1:01 on the top left
I came up with this assumption because all of the successors or in fact all the best ones are either standing up or separate and the dude that looks like L is standing up during this moment.
Thats not B its actually Matt, Mello's friend.
thats some deep shit
i love how the little boy who's walking away and the other boy who seems to be running after him at 1:28 look like l and light respectively just as l is talking about monsters posing as humans.
I find it funny how he dodged the question “is there something that you’re not good at?” Because he’s just that immature 💀
This quote hits so close to home. I almost started crying.
3am Death Note binge
I love how he also made (perhaps unintentionally) a little joke about his handwriting💜
Shit still slaps like it did 4 years ago
Simply awesome...
Could be true. It's probably to make up for the lack of social skills on his part as well.
L has Asperger's. That's why he has a lack of social skills.
@@sarahkolakowski2012 Is it confirmed because if it's not then you shouldn't just go around saying he does lmao
L: "*Talks about different types of monsters*"
Me: yes *TERRIFY THE CHILDREN!!! PUT THE FEAR IN THEM!!!!*
I knew that guy looked like L but I didn't know there was an actual story about him. He's beyond birthday, a guy who looks very similar to L and was one of the orphans in line to succeed him
and a serial killer
I saw a comment stating that the monster who seeks friendship even though they do not know how to live was reffering to Light, and I agreed to a certain extent
But then, with the knoweledge that this still could have been in the Wammy's House and we see L and his sucsessors, I deduce that 1:41 is Beyond Birthday and possibly even A
Heck, I have a headcanon that there's a possibility that BB conviced A to kill himself.
1:04 is the speech
he figured out all the series even wtihout knowing light.
