I've lived in Huntington Beach since 1963, Ironically I'm now 63. I Remember my father flipping out when the 1st Arby's was built here. Great memories of my childhood with my father, mother and younger brother. We regularly visited this Arby's and I still do today. Every time I go there I visualize my father, mother and little brother there with me, who have all since passed on. Memories as fresh as the day we first went there.

I'll check this out. My 89 year old mom lives in Huntington Beach. And I visit every 2 weeks. We pass that Arby's every visit, because it sits across from the mall that houses her special place--Costco!

That Arby's been there for a very very long time, across the street used to be the Huntington Center Mall where I got my first transformers and garbage pail kids back in the mid 80s!☺☺☺

The original Arby’s is still standing, it’s now a monument store. It’s about 15 minutes from where I live. Really cool seeing what it would have looked like back in the day.

It's in Boardman OH the first Arbys ever. And I agree that Arbys should buy that building back and turn it into a historic Arbys site

I remember this particular Arby's because I grew up in Huntington Beach from 1968 to 1986 and I remember this building from 1968 and forward and I am glad it's still exists today. Unfortunately, the Huntington Center that used to be across the street from it has morphed into something quite different from a regular mall with a JCPenney, Broadway and a Montgomery Ward's in it.

They had an original Arbys just like this on the parkway/441 in Pigeon Forge Tenn. Ate there the last time in 2017 and the next year when i went back it was sadly gone. That store hadnt been updated since the 80s. It was pretty cool.

Cool! I saw one when visiting my brother in Florida. The name came from the founders, the Raffel brothers, RB.. Arby's. I'm glad I'm not the only one who's passionate about these original buildings and preserving them!

I have an Arby's near where I live that still has the old Ten gallon hat sign. It's a slightly modern building (about late 200's), but it STILL has the old HUGE neon light sign.
It is on Piney Forest Rd, in Danville VA

Huntington Beach used to be a city that middle class families like mine, could afford to live in. Now, you need to be somewhat wealthy to live there which is unfortunate because it was a wonderful place to grow up and I have many fond memories.

This is also the Arby's where 11 years ago the "Lipstick Bail Bonds" women comically failed at trying to apprehend a "suspect" for their youtube channel. They ended up facing criminal charges and also were charged with operating a bail bond company without a license.
The only negative about that location is that it can be very hard to get out of the parking lot. It is pretty admirable that the Arby's outlived Huntington Center mall across the street which had been shut down for almost 10 years before it was torn down and turned into Bella Terra shopping center.

There is an original Arby’s in Las Vegas as well. They still have the original sign of Arby’s too. You should check that out too if you are in the area. And if you like really good philly steak sandwiches there is an excellent place here in Las Vegas that I want to take you to try the Philly Steak Sandwich. The Philly steak sandwiches are as the same as out in Philadelphia. They are that good. Let me know when you come out to Las Vegas we can meet up. I want to know more about the Chuck E Chesse history too. You got me addicted to the animatronics and the history too. I have been watching your videos for some time now and I really love your channel and the content that you make. Let me know when you go out to Las Vegas so we can meet up and talk more about the CEC stuff and the history and we can go to the restaurant where they have the best Philly Steak Sandwiches in town. Have a good day.
