Listening to this version was like listening to the song for the very first time again.
Much better than the studio one, I would say
@@akio2730 I really like both. I like the horns and synths on the studio version.

man... that drop at 4:25 with the girls dancing and the key change is changing my life
Still one of the best songs to come out in years.
Legit 70's rock prog vibes
Dare I say one of the best songs of all time, I’m not even kidding
This is an incredible performance. Wow. The pianist's more expressive phrasing, her new vocal flourishes, and the replacement of the synths with vocals--all so great.
holy sh... she's next level. this song and the vocals.
I’m a boy at school and I love this song
I'm loving this black and red top 🤩, I've never seen anything similar before! It's like a mix between acoustic foam and a kiwano.
That's a masterclass. Stunning.
This version makes it kind of sound like a Risk of Rain song. I love it.

GGGGGORGEOUS
the musical composition sounds way deeper and more profound than the lyrics would suggest.
You've clearly never hated the boys at school 😩
@@artisttjan Oh believe you me, I did....I think I've meant that the lyrics don't sound as poetic as the music.
I think the song is about the time she was shamed to the point of having to drop out of her philosophy degree at Berkeley
But I'm not sure, I just read that in her Wikipedia page and figured it could be the topic of the song.
It is deep.. don’t take everything so literal
Cheesy
