    have u tried caramel trucks ? if so what was ur opinion on them comaird to dynamics / brt

    • @tcgene

      I have tried the caramel hangers. What I like when caramel compared to the dynamic hangers is since I like a tighter truck the top bushing doesn’t roll over and look blown out. The caramel hangers are incredibly solid. When compared to the BRTs they definitely sit lower but when put on BRT base plates they kinda sit funky but then again it could be the bushings that I was using at the time got the smoosh uneven and ended up molding to the shape of the BRT hanger. In terms of hangers my preference is BRT - Uag - caramel - dynamic - Ytruck hangers. All of them are extremely well made and not discounting any of them in anyway just my preference.

      I have a G15 and the rest of the stuff that it comes with. I can tell you that if it's a first purchase complete you'd be all set with a solid set up. I do really like the g15 shape and BRTs are my favorite trucks.

    Woo i definitely gotta get a couple sets of g8 I want the turquoise and white. Which is your favorite?

    • @tcgene
      @tcgene  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My favorite were the white ones I got a super long time ago when they first came out. the Turquoise and red ones are cool and all but something about the plain white ones just sticks out to me for some reason.

    Nice unboxing! I really like the SpongeBob and the Neon Camo. Is there any big difference between the FFG8 and the J4 or the street shape? I have the two last model and I dont know if I should try de G8. Thankkkks

      The biggest difference between the two for me is that the Jay wheels are definitely smaller. The G8 wheels also feel like a plastic mixture while the Jay wheels feel closer to plastic. Both wheels roll crazy smooth but after testing out the other G8s what I’ve gotten were white and black - perfect. The red and turquoise - did the clicking thing. The red ones clicked a lot less than the turquoise. Still both rolled very smooth though

      @@tcgene then i should try the G8 in white color! Thank youuu :)!

      The J4s are just the G4 shape with the Jay Linehan signature material (it’s slightly softer than normal plastic but still way harder than urethane, it gets darker as you use them, and has a little squeak).
      The G4 is pretty wide and pretty tall compared to most fingerboard wheels. The normal white street shapes (aka the ones with the “D” material) use a super hard but super smooth plastic in a skinnier/realistic Street shape. The main difference between the street shape and the G8 is that the G8 has almost the exact same shape as the “street shapes” but the G8s are super tall, even taller than the G4 wheel. Gives your board a unique feel and pop due to the angle of your tail when you pop since again, the wheels are super tall (personally I think they are a little too tall.)
      Edit: I think the red material (called x) Mike uses for his wheels is a tiny bit softer than the white ones and I think that the turquoise material (called A) is a tiny bit softer than the red material. Both materials are still much harder than the JAY material though. The Mustard yellow material (called O) I believe is even harder than the D but I’m not 100%. The black wheels use the D material so it’s harder than the red x material but it’s slightly softer than the white.
      No idea about hardness of the gray wheels or any of the swirl colors.

    You play Magic? You strike me as a fellow EDH player. Am I right?

    • @tcgene

      I do!! I haven’t played in a while but my main two decks are Kaalia and the mimeoplasm. They were the first decks I got and stuck with them two since then.

      @@tcgene nice! I was going to brew Kaalia, but I run Chatterfang, Queen Marchesa, Kibo, Uktabi Prince, and the new Aura’s commander Eriette. But I wish I could stick to a few decks. I have brewed and deconstructed so many decks lol. Right on man. I enjoy the videos. Looking forward to more!
