Nice pacing, quiet unobtrusive music, research and narration! Looking forward to more.
Excellent narration as always..it feels like we take a step back in time between the photos and your keen ability to tell a story
During his year off from movies in 1923, Valentino recorded two sides of a 78 rpm record that can be heard on YT -- "El Relicano" and "Kashmiri Love Song".
Just when I was thinking that Valentino's death during the silent film era means we'll never hear what he sounded like, I came across your comment. Thanks.
very well explained video
Great video editing and use of pictures. I liked the ending with Valentino pulling down the auto shade.
Excellent as always, your channel is very special.
I Love The Silent Movies Love The Classic Movie 😍❤
ON VALENTINO : HE SAID HE WANTED TO DIRECT FILMS .......
That music made me sad.
A urinary track infection is impossible to get rid of for people with chronic health issues.
In The Movie Sunset Blvd Ms Gloria S Said His Name In The Movie He Will Never Be Forgotten ❤
Houdini's real name was Weisz, pronounced similar to vise.
Harry Houdini the greatest illusionist of ALL time
What the eyes see and the ears hear the mind believes
very good thanks 🙂
I immediately thought of the monty python sketch upon watching this
Interesting!
"sensitivity"
"exoticism"
are the correct noun forms
Rudolph Valentino had "cauliflower" ears?
I looked it up and found this : Rudolph Valentino
Apparently when silent movie superstar Rudolph Valentino first arrived in Hollywood he had ears which ‘stuck out like a mad elephants‘. He subsequently had his ears pinned back and took the world by storm (until he died at a tragically young age that is).
@@tchrisou812Disparaging comments were also made about Clark Gable's ears when he came to Hollywood circa 1930. Gable's ears were never pinned back as far as I can tell
3:02 sensitiveness is that a word?!! Wouldn't his sensitivity b😊 correct?!? But thank you i love your videos.
You beat me to it.
Latin Lover❤❤❤❤
Gee! As said early in the video, he was PROCESSED to become a legal citizen! But very sad that he was taken so young
🙄
Great video, but the chapters are the wrong people.
Whoops, I accidentally copied that from Part 2, but it's fixed now!
@@The1920sChannel I figured that was the case. :)
Deaths
I like Valentino.
"European movie people" You mean the french films and italian film makers?
Although Valentino was definitely male, he did have some soft, effeminate physical characteristics to his person. I think if he were alive today, he would have had a very successful career in movies.
Gay
I feel badly that he suffered so much. But the reality is if you are unbiased he was the worst president in US history. Many were bad, he was the worst.
I thought that James Buchanan and Joe Biden were tied for the worst Presidents ever.
There have been some bad ones, as far as who was the worst, how long is a piece of string
@@ComicBookGuy420
I still think it's a tie between James Buchanan and Joe Biden.
Joe Biden has a slight lead because James Buchanan didn't have the Oyster Bunny nor was his uncle eaten by cannibals.
Just saying.
@@ComicBookGuy420
Keep in mind that James Buchanan didn't have the Oyster Bunny nor was his uncle eaten by cannibals.

Nixon willingly screwed the people, Kennedy was sharing a mistress not only with the mob but his own father
Like I said there have been some bad ones
