"The combat look bad" yeah and it's something that they can work on. The rest look amazing.
The crafting , the magic, the ranged weapon, the lore, the exploration. If you guys stop at the combat ( mostly melee ) you'll miss out on lots of other thing this game has to offer.
If you're telling me that the combat in palworld is more fun, you're lying. In palworld we have one combo, that's it. The ranged weapon does almost no damage even legendary one unless you change your world settings. The combat shine with Pals and that's it. Even palworld doesn't have lore like that, crafting like that, world exploration like that and it was a hit ( mostly for the pokemon kinda theme ).
Stop destroying a game before it even game out without playing it. Try it first jesus.

every time someone says this, the combat is literally never worked on. you can count the amount of games that have actually overhauled their combat on one hand.
Palworld combat also absolutely shits on this games combat and always will.

Great video! You mentioned the twitchdrops! How di actually craft them? Ive got refined sewingtable and materials for it but the option ''craft'' is grayed out
you claimed them in the rewards section in menu? they should be craftable at crafting bench

Is it just me or does the combat look jank AF. Like, the bosses just sorta stand there and occasionally insta attack you.

after the Main Story (30 hours) like, what hours are realistic to keep playing after? Is it like Conan exiles where you could Do Things almost like endlessly or would you say that someone would invest like 150 hours, get everything you can and thats it?
the realms offer unique replayability and teh vaults are challenging
Do you know if a machete is in the game? I would be a sweet tool for gathering resources and to use as a weapon.

took me and kiitaria another creator around 100 to power through till end game then another 50 doing vaults and stuff, shes got 200 hours in it now i have 85 loads to do still

The combat looks so generic and boring I can't see anything else saving the game.
I don't have the answer because the weaponry is generic so how can you make it exciting>>>you can't.
The rest of the game just sounds like a slower more janky form of progression and then progress to what .....more progression lol different cards I just don't see this being fun at all.

What exactly do you think expansions that games like WoW and FF14 and every other online game out there has? Different maps, with different loot that you can then craft different gear from. What are DLCs? Extra content to progress in. I don't understand why you're somehow a bit put off by the mere fact that this game is giving players different ways to play LMAO
As for the weapons being generic, I'm not sure why you also seem to think that's enough to tank the game since there's plenty of successful games out there that only showcases basic weapons like guns and pikes. It's also quite easy to add different types of weapons and skills in the future lol....... again, what is even this comment? XD You sound incredibly confused.
Have yet to be able to read one of the Lore/story cards, as always get attacked when i begin reading it. Also your screen looks much different than mine.

It's bad. Unfortunately it hasn't changed since early on despite ample amounts of feedback. If combat is a primary focus I would wait on this one.

@@Jade-PGI play keyboard&mouse but my friend plays controller and saids it isn't great(he's also so critical of the game.) I'm hoping it improves if he just learns it better

At first they advertised that there would be NPC worker automation, but as the release date got closer, only the automation part was quietly removed from the Steam page. cowardly act
no they never advertized this, they said they hoped in interviews to allow npc's in future to do thinsg at base for you not at launch, they can do thinsg help you build
They changed the text from
"You can even recruit NPC workers to help expand your homestead, automate production, and assist in resource gathering"
to
"You can even recruit NPC workers to help harvest resources as you work to expand your property"

People who read the steam page description a year ago will still know that there is an automated system
