I had done it and then had seen, that there is not enough travel and the axles were angled. So I had to remove the shorting and now they are in the stock lenght again.
Yes, for driving they're really not the best straight out of the box. Especially not at nower day's atandards. But that is the same as in the automotive sector. A F40 looks like a T-Model compared to taday's super cars, but in the 80s it was a highlight.Luckily int the United States the Clod jas it's own racing class, ao there are a lot of improvements available. I'll try some of them on my next Clod😉

What you colour code? Tamiya brand colour
It's an automotive colour. The manufactor is Duplicolor. primer-> effect primer -> irdescent colour "lagoon" and silver -> clear coat.

Clodbusters were a terrible rc truck for durability/speed and bashing and they still are unfortunately. Cool shelf items though
