A brilliant helpful instruction video Andy, plus info to obtain the LED set that works for my XC60. Many thanks and looking forward to more videos.

Great video thanks, I will buy via that link. Cant wait as the lights are so dull! I have tried the upgrade the wing mirror puddle lights with no joy, canban errors I guess. Have you been able to upgrade the puddle lights? Thanks again.

    Great video.
Question, around the 9:00 min mark, the newly installed LED front dome lights flickered a bit. Is this typical when they cut off? I’m in the process of thinking about converting mine (2014 XC60).
    Thanks!

Hi, that's flicker from the camera unfortunately, mine don't flicker when they dim so you should be fine.

Argh rear seat roof light, my 2010 reflector holes only just wide enough for original bulbs, wont accept the new LEDs from the kit.

Oh, mine just came out with a gentle wiggle. Unfortunately it sound like a pair of pliers or tweezers will be the only option for you

@@junkendriven there are thin wires connected to bulb and plastic, they break off :/

@@NylonMusk나일론머스크 it was not it. I had blue sockets and only black sockets have removable bulbs. I bought black ones and everything is okay. I installed LEDs perfectly

Hi, unfortunately not, these are only interior lights.
I have recently replaced the rear numberplate LEDs, I found them on eBay

Hello Friend, can you give me link to this black socket? I have blue socket and I can’t put off bulb from it. Thank you in advance! 😊

Quite some disappointment here with my 2010. The twist out bulb housings dont have terminals to accept the new leds. The very small wires from the original t10 bulbs were soldered to the twist out housings. You have to break them to remove. Bizarre set up.

Oh that's bad news sorry to hear that. They must have updated somewhere between then.
