- I've been playing Throne And Liberty lately and there have been many improvements to show and talk about but is Throne & Liberty Worth Playing?

- Battlepass can now be purchased with grinded Lucent for Free ( Can only buy battlepass with real money in Korea )
- Battlepass Premium tiers AFTER completing the battlepass has been completely removed for Global

@@oAazo It's fine... hopefully people blinded by the angry mob of haters on TH-cam will see it and try the game cause it's not really P2W... buying the battlepass is enough to keep you on par with the whales if we're being honest... now if your goal is to be THE no.1 highest geared player on the server then sorry but you have to pay no matter what MMO you're playing... except ESO I guess but ESO doesn't have any real competitive PvP anyway...
What I'm saying is that if you're playing any of the big MMOs then giving this game a try should be a given since all big MMOs are kinda meh or shit depending on what you play... Throne and Liberty won't blow you away and change your whole life, but come on... what MMO does? FFXIV is dogshit until you hit level 70 and you pay money to play (equivalent to buying the battle pass in T&L), WoW nowadays is absolute garbage and you pay monthly too, GW2 is probably the most player friendly monetization (except if you wanna buy the best gear you can buy gold WITH REAL MONEY), ESO is buy to play but there is so much pay for "convenience" that without paying you're miserable and the list goes on and on...
So overall no, I don't think Throne & Liberty is that heavily P2W... this game is certainly NOT Lost Ark... not even close...

Also, no premium track and you can buy everything with lucent so you don't have to pay real money if you can earn lucent. You can reroll traits and stuff you sell has to be upgraded. If you're a PvE player p2w basically doesn't mean much.
Appreciate your honesty on addressing the P2W elements in this game. Looking forward to reviewing the monetization practices myself later when I play this.

I have zero hype, zero expectations but I will check it out since it's an open Beta.
My only gripe with some of these Korean games is having to scroll through all these UI elements, I had the same problem when playing Lost Ark. I wish they could streamline it a bit more like say Black Desert Online, but even there it's not perfect.
TLDR; It's extremely exhausting having to go through so many menus to buy and collect rewards!

I'm sad now. I learned on another video that all of the major content is "scheduled" content. When looking at when this content is offered is nearly all at night. So, if you're a morning or afternoon player you're kinda screwed? I nearly never play at night. Is this true?
Easy fix I am just going to a server with a diff time zone.
there is mornign shedule content the night heavy is the big conent like siege castles,but for those u kinda need to be a nolifer to take part in ( or just go there witha half ass guild and just die ;P) so i would say it doesnt matter

At this point you gotta stop calling a battle pass pay to win like really. The market isn't really pay to win either because you're only buying base gear you have to progress it yourself by actually completing in game content and getting the materials for the upgrade. The market won't be flooded with boss gear because the drops are limited to a certain amount a week . This game is really rng heavy with limited get ahead progress. Even the people who buy the early access version won't be added on to the same server for a certain amount of time when the game releases for everyone.
@@kingleonidus8766 it's hard to explain every time but a battle pass to be is pay to win if it makes you stronger than non buyers but it's probably the least bad version.

The dominion event sounds like it could be super abusable if one large company decides to co-ordinate across teams to win trade. Looks like fun though.
They would be better just winning a guild one I think

The skills can be used the same, but the main weapon is applied in the event of a general attack.

Besides the gameplay and content, they need to fix game economy system, because as long they use lucent to buy/sell gear in the market/auction house they need to reduce the tax, 20%+ is just insane.. the rest is social aspects

This game will be the best ever because of the mechanics and community. Europe was waiting for a new Lineage 2...p2w is not that bad every mmorpg will have a level of p2w.
Im so stoked for this game One of the few games that focuses on pvp. I missed the lineage II peak but still try to go back every once in a while.

How to dive in throne and liberty
So they've added more features in 6months than new world did in 2 years. All without game breaking bugs, or even many small bugs 😂
in game GMs that swinga ban hammer when you do dumb shyt is an easy fix to most of those issues.
Looks almost like a gacha game..
As a massive Lineage 2 fan, cant say i have high expectations for this.
But can you fly all over the map at will???
You should play Once Human, there are lots of New World mechanics in it.

@@jayoddity While you "shoot" it is far closer to NW combat than a shooter. Not to say its fantasy RPG combat but its closer in skill level and "ease" to NW. I think you'd find a lot of fun in giving Once Human a go.
Note: NW combat is better/more fluid than Once Human.

Its a company so they need to make money. If i can do 60% of the contend with 70 Euros spend its fine 4 me. I spend about 300 Euros on ESO in 4 years so when i like the game a lot 100 a year is fine for me.

To clarify though, you'd have to earn the premium currency in game by selling traits and items and stuff, it's not like your normal currency
no its not... Amazon has a say, ..... and no matter what you say it has P2W, game will not be a big game, the player base will limited soon enough... and our version will end up like all the other Amazon Games out there....
They need to do what lost ark did. Equalised arena with nothing from pve working there. Lost ark had the best arena PVP i have ever seen, to bad they failed that game
so what you get from pve than if progress isn't useful in pvp? If you want to play like that go play Battlerite or Mobas

I thought that current Lineage 2, and the closed Archeage were p2w but NCSOFT has introduced a whole different level p2w... Combat looks like mobile game, so it is easy to say that many players will use macros.

@@andrzejw7500 Yes it will, that is 100% certain, it will fail just like all other MMOs in recent times! TL is an ordinary theme park with a short (streamer) hype at release and after 1 or 2 months the players will move on. The next dead MMO after a few months....
There is no more room next to the established (theme park) top dogs WoW, FF14 or ESO. Of course, TL can never win the content race against them!

@@andrzejw7500 This is demonstrably wrong! FF14, for example, had a peak of 55k players yesterday on Steam alone! No newer MMO reaches that, if it hasn't already been discontinued! NW was at less than 5k yesterday! I'll tell you how it goes with TL: 6 figure player numbers at release, then after a month or two the players will quit like I said and a few more months later it's Amazon's next epic fail.

Whenever I see a new game with more than 14 skill slots I need to hotkey I have to pass over it. I'm not contorting my fingers to press keys... This isn't 2005, stop making the UI so cluttered and complex.....

Throne of Liberty it's super bad in game play in graphics and game mechanincs. TL it's much more p2w than all games on earth combined togheter. It's a worst game ever human kind made. Pax Dei even in alpha it's straight top while TL can't even handle bugs and glitches it's just sad. NW and TL have toghether to be buried same way, simple die like trash game.
